Peter Bardens was a gifted player and composer, especially when working with Andrew Latimer. Camel was at its best when Bardens was at the keyboards and active in the music. Love all of Camel's work, but the 70's albums which feature Bardens are the bands best imo. This solo is a great example of why.

I think the keyboard riff earlier in the suite at 1:03 is the ultimate gift haha. I wish it showed up again near the end.

Think there’s a live version of Andrew (I think is his name?) basically crying as he is doing that solo. Such a great band.

Have you heard 'With an Ear close to the ground you can make it' from Caravan's second album?

If you have not, you should, no spoilers.

Oh I have, that keyboard solo is freaking amazing too. Not a fan of the singing on that album but the jams are amazing. Can't be long now also has some great solos

That keyboard solo is incredible, but I think the guitar from 5:10-5:39 is the most beautiful piece of music I’ve ever heard

I think you meant to say the keyboard solo on Lunar Sea is one of the best things that has happened in the history of humanity.
