Julie Hovland finished her career as the most decorated player in program history, and moved immediately into a coaching role in the fall of 2022. Hovland was Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year in 2020-2021 and earned the first at-large individual bid to the NCAA Regional Championship in school history. She won twice during her career and holds both the 18-and 54-hole program scoring records. A part of the Norwegian National Golf Team, Hovland now brings her wealth of experience to the coaching side of the program as she pursues a masters degree in business administration at South Alabama.
