The rest of my party had interest in the Tower of London, so we scheduled it into our trip. I did not know what to expect, but wow, I was surprised! It was the best tour we took during our stay in the city. Upon arrival, we learned about the guided tours and joined one on the spot. While waiting, we explored the Tower's Mint, close to the entrance, which displayed the process of coin making. There are interactive components placed throughout this section for all to enjoy. The tour group was quite large, but the Beefeater projected well so there was minimal trouble hearing. The tour contains a fair amount of information, and much of it is heavy due to the grim events that have taken place at the tower, but do not let that discourage you from joining one. The guides do their best to include lighthearted elements and keep it entertaining. Once the tour ended, visitors were able to explore the site on their own. I highly recommend walking through the Beauchamp Tower. It has a narrow, winding staircase leading to the higher level, but at the top you'll find graffiti carved by a multitude of prisoners mainly during the 16th and 17th centuries. While the Crown Jewels and ceremonial objects were magnificent to see, learning about the extensive rich history made the Tower of London a truly valuable visit!
A few notes: Not sure the exact length of the tour but at least an hour. Tours commence every 30 minutes. No photography in the church or when viewing the jewels.

I recently visited London from India, and riding the London Eye was one of the highlights of my trip! Here’s a detailed account of my experience:

    Booking and Arrival:
Booking tickets online was straightforward and efficient. I recommend purchasing tickets in advance to avoid long queues, especially during peak tourist season. The location is easy to find, situated along the beautiful South Bank of the River Thames, near many other attractions like the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben.

    Experience:
The moment I boarded the capsule, I was struck by the modern design and spaciousness. Each capsule is large enough to accommodate a group of people comfortably without feeling crowded. The slow rotation allowed ample time to take in the breathtaking panoramic views of London. As someone from India, where we have rich historical architecture, I was amazed by the blend of historical landmarks and modern buildings that define London’s skyline.

    Views:
From the top, the view is simply spectacular! You get to see iconic landmarks such as the Buckingham Palace, St. Paul's Cathedral, and the Tower Bridge. On a clear day, you can see up to 25 miles in all directions. The entire ride lasts about 30 minutes, which is perfect for soaking in the views and taking lots of photos.

    Staff and Service:
The staff were courteous and helpful, ensuring that the boarding process was smooth and efficient. They also provided interesting facts about the landmarks visible from the Eye, which added an educational element to the ride.

Great experience with the glass floor at the top. Cool views both ways of the river. Definitely book on line and ahead. No need to pay to jump the queue

I don’t recommend if you’re claustrophobic. Also, small children aren’t ideal for this location. Lastly, they stick true to time so do t show up more than 10min early. They won’t allow you early entrance. You’ll understand once you enter, as it’s extremely cramped for space. I also recommend you travel with plug in headphones. All museums have handhelds for each museum station, and the “phones” they give you aren’t super comfortable to hold over a long period of time. The headphones that plug in work wonders for comfort.

My second visit, this time I took my daughters age 20/21. They loved it too. Loads of interesting facts and the use of the hand held speaker is great. We love the story of Bath

This is an increadible church with so much history. So intricate, the tombs were increadible and historical. We found Darwins tomb accidentally, we were in the Galapagos last year same time. Well worth the time to visit. Do the queens galleries you get great views of the lower level as well as some great history up there, no photos allowed in the gallery. Go early.

It's a big old house, detached as well.
No noisy neighbours here with loud music leaking through the plasterboard walls. The garden is a bit of a full time job as well, a ride on lawn mower is strongly advised because you'll need a really long extension lead without one. Update your garden waste bin to the largest size and have a word with the local council, because you'll never get all the grass from one cut in a single bin.
Parking for a few cars with absolutely no on street space at all. Apparently you'll be clamped in seconds if you park for long outside this bad boy.
200+ bedrooms offer plenty of choice for a good nights kip and there's no shortage of bathrooms either. The heating bill is astronomical, so beware. You might want to whack some solar panels on the roof ASAP.

Great, safe and higher end location for restaurants, pubs and retail. We really enjoy this area of London and all the activities and options it provides.

Visited the bar for a 30th birthday drink with friends and had a great experience! Quick and easy to get in through security, seated at a table and served by Alex who was brilliant! He let us order off menu cocktails, gave us recommendations on the food and was overall friendly and attentive - even brining out a happy birthday plate!

The singer on was also brilliant (not sure on her name 1st June) and made for a great atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Went with family. Beautiful maintained gardens. Well reserved history. Learnt a lot. Also saw the change of guard. Grateful it is open to the public. Not a castle to be missed.

I visited with my mum, who was in her mobility scooter. There were no access issues and there is a dedicated entrance for access. There is a bag search in place. We were greeted and taken into the Cathedral. We didn’t do the tour, choosing to pray, light a candle and observe the Covid memorial in memory of a family friend who was part of it. The staff were exceptional from start to finish – nothing was too much trouble. We were given details of where everything was. We were escorted into the lift and taken to the café to have a coffee, which we decided to do first. The coffees were very nice, although it was a pop-up stand as I believe there is planned work on the café area. Mum was allowed to charge her scooter too. Toilets are located here too and there were plenty available. We visited the shop next to the café and there are some lovely gifts available. We returned to the memorial and a staff member helped up pull up our search details on the virtual screen. They left us to reflect and returned a while later with a lighter, so we could then light the candle. The candle was really substantial, not a tea light, and the recommended donation was 50p. Overall, a memorable, lovely experience, made even better by the staff support and attitude.

Must visit when in Liverpool. £5 per person entry. Live music , a bar to enjoy whilst enjoying the history of the Cavern. There are steps down into the cavern and I’m not sure if there is a lift. We visited late morning so it was not too busy.

We had a lovely time on our tour. We got lucky and a free tour was starting 5 mins of arrival. Our tour guide David was fantastic. He was knowledgable and had some great jokes. A beautiful cathedral
