We were on a cruise and had one day to visit Kuala Lumpur and the must see Petronas Twin Towers . It’s a magnificent building 88 storey and 451 metres high. The highlight is the skybridge that joins both towers and then up to the 86 floor for a majestic view of the city.
Unfortunately for us it didn’t happen - because our bus from the cruise ship was 90 min. We couldn’t confirm when we would be arriving and took the chance that we could buy a ticket - it’s 50 RMs about £9. However all slots were sold out until 4 pm on that day.
We could have purchased online but on our trip there were 2 couples who had booked for 3pm ( coach was leaving at 3:30) and asked if they could change the times - to be refused.
So for us it was the usual photo from outside - but at least we’ve seen it .

Vasan gave us a smooth and enlightening tour of the factory and we appreciate him. We also appreciate the fact that you employ mostly women and appreciate your employees. Thank you

It doesn't appear to be a big museum at first glance, but it has so many beautiful things to see in each gallery. It's impossible to appreciate everything in just one visit of 2-3 hours! Items from from all around the world in both the permanent and temprary exhibits. Plus there was one special exhibition of local artists. Very informative explanations throughout. So much to learn!

The building itself is beautifully designed, full of natural light in the atrium, and some exquisite ceilings.

A very inexpensive museum considering the large amount to see and the very pleasant atmosphere - MYR 20.

Not crowded despite a public holiday.

Good restaurant, though pricier than average.
    Large gift shop.
Toilets clean and with toilet paper.

Main downside is that it's not easy to get to via public transport and walking (similar to many other places in Kuala Lumpur). The air conditioning inside the museum is reward for walking the long distance to get there!

Arguably one of the best attractions of Kuala Lumpur!

A beautiful park over looked by the Petronas towers. A lovely place to visit, any time of the day. Park has play equipment for children and also water fountain which very nice.
A nice place to have a relaxing walk in the centre of the city.

Upmarket mall with all the brands, high end & mid range. What makes this mall really special is the varied number of restaurants, coffee shops & bars. One can spend a few days here. Shopping is expensive though, but food is reasonable & mid range.
Great vibe & ambience, feels a bit like NY Times square outside the mall at nights.

Excellent displays and stories about historical life in Malaysia, as well as city displays and fun easter egg hunts for miniature superheroes. Absolutely worth visiting.

We visited the tower as part of an overall excursion, to make sure we did the Batu caves as well. Its not quite as iconic as Petronas but still offers some fantastic views. You can see Petronas from the observation deck, but only at an angle. It offers fantastic views all around and is well worth a visit. Tickets are probably to be booked in advance, it was fairly busy but minutes not hours to wait.

I knew coming here, it would not be a match to Bird Paradise in Singapore. But i enjoyed it nonetheless. Birds are free to fly around. There are tons of peacocks wandering about, but it must have been molting season as the peacocks were dropping their feathers. The weather was incredibly hot in early April, we had gone morning when to be done by noon . You can walk under the shade of the trees which were plenty.

The only negative is that we noticed holes in the nets in some areas which would enable birds to either escape or enter the aviary. It does look run down in some parts. The ostrich section was abit sad, vegetables were left in a basket so visitors could feed it, there was no one manning the place.

Have not visited Jalan Alor for a while so decided to pop by for dinner on a Friday night. When we arrived around 8pm, the food street was packed. There were many street stalls and restaurants, and you will be spoilt for choices. Definitely one of the places that you should try to visit.

    Huge mall!
A lot of high end stores. Not for the budget traveller, but still some options for them also. Nice looking mall. Plenty of places to eat. Next to KLCC PARK and right under the Petronas towers.

A welcome relief in a city that is very pedestrian unfriendly! Nice to get away from the many cars and exhaust fumes and noise and heat.
The main downside is that the walkway is devoid of any attempt at beauty -- some artwork on the walls may be nice so it doesn't just feel like a sterile and purely functional walkway.
For a city that wants the tourist to spend money, I was surprised there were no stalls along the way......but maybe it's a place to have temporary relief from commercialism?!

Well worth a visit and a spectacular building with great views. You can wander freely around, it was not too crowded and peaceful when we visited late afternoon.
