Before purchase I noted comments that they were thin. The documentation was appropriate so I bought them. There is an odor when I first opened one of the package of 10. I left them on the counter, and the odor did dissipate

I received this item next day which was great but the product is horrible. First off the mask are to thin to be kn95. Second, the smell of them are unbearable to wear. Lastly, wearing them made my face itch pretty bad. I am a Healthcare worker, so I'm used to wearing a mask. I am very disappointed that I can't return them. I don't recommend this product at all.

Communicable diseases rise and fall with the season, population, and circumstances, and wearing an effective face mask is, for many, a routine practice. These POQCCT KN95 Face Masks 50 Pack Tie Dye are well made masks, with a colorful set of patterns that sets them apart.

The mask itself is a flat fold type of KN-95, with comfortable ear loops. The mask is made in China, displays conformity with the GB2626-2019 standard, has a certificate giving date of manufacture and expiration date. It clicks all the right boxes.

There are five packets of each color pattern, see the photo. The masks are not individually wrapped, but wrapped in the group of ten masks. There is a nose strip that provides good shaping around the nose, and the mask fits well.

Nothing wrong with adding a little excitement to a boring white mask, and these do that just fine.

Fun KN95 masks

I thought we were done with face masks, but it looks like this may be an ongoing thing. It seems like covid has become less severe but is still around and may wind up like a seasonal flu. Plus, there is the annual flu, and, in my area, we have hazardous smoke from wildfires for, usually, a couple of weeks per summer. So I thought I should stock on KN95 masks. I’ve formerly had white ones, and these seemed more fun!

I’d say these are average masks in construction. They are thinner than some I’ve owned. The ear band is not particularly heavy duty (that might be the weak point), and though I am not a big guy, the masks are pretty snug on my face. Not that that’s a bad thing—it keeps air from leaking in.

This package (which was on sale for $11.99 when I ordered it, though I’m an Amazon Vine member so I get to try these out) contains fifty masks—five packages of ten masks each (they are not individually wrapped); five different colors. I personally like certain colors—the blue-based ones—and not so fond of the pink and orange ones, but, still, better than white because they seem less clinical.

How effective these particular KN95s are, I don’t know—they are said to be five ply. The nose clips are within the fabric, so that makes them fairly comfortable. Per the package, they are “valid” for two years (I don’t know what happens to them after that time. ?) The package also says not to use with beards or facial hair but, still, these are snug on top of my small beard. (I think most KN95 masks have the same notice about facial hair.)

These do have a faint odor—I’ve used a couple of the masks and, to me, there is a slight odor of some sort when you first put them on. That goes away. These are disposable, though I’m not sure how many times you can use each mask safely.

All in all, I think for the quantity, the price, and, especially the appearance, these are a good deal.

Even though the product says its eligible for refund or replacement, it is not. the box we received is defective (masks smell of mildew) and I cannot determine how to get a refund or a new box. also they are not as thick as the other 5 ply masks we have purchased.

Thin KN95

I got these mask for many of jobs around the house where I want to limit dirt and pollutants and also in case we end up having to wear mask again. Compared to another KN95 mask I have this was the thinner of a the three I had with the third being a N95, not saying that is good or bad just that it was thinner. I did find it comfortable to wear at least for the short time I tired it on. After using it I cut it open and it did have 5 very thin layers of material, please keep in mind I’m not a professional tester just wanted to make sure it did have 5 layers as it claimed as it was so thin. The description does state it’s not an N95 mask so you would have to know that up front and know the difference between KN95 and N95. An official N95 is approved by the USA standards and KN95 is the Chinese or Korean standard, take that for what you will. As long as you’re fine with knowing that then it’s up to you if you want to buy. KN95 supposedly isn’t certified for USA medical use but I’m just trying to use around the the house so it’s fine with me.

Wonderful product, but it needs a bigger "Certificate" to prevent premature discard

These masks are comfortable (after you pinch the nose clip). They don't smell weird. I have other KN95 masks that do. They are attractive. A huge deal. They come in different colors in the package, which means that different family members know which mask is theirs to wear easily.

But, I almost threw them away because the serial number ends is -2019, and the packaging says they have a shelf life of 2 years. The packaging tells you the read the certificate, which is in 4 or 6 point type and is difficult to read.

When I did find the date of manufacture, it was in 2023, so my masks are good til 2025. I'm so glad I took the time to read the itty-bitty type, on the itty-bitty "certificate," which looks like a throw-away piece of paper. Hey guys! You make a quality product, now make a certificate that's big enough to read without a magnifying glass.
