SOPHOMORE SEASON (2022-23)
Played in 15 games • Scored an ACC-high five points in 11 minutes vs. Boston College in the ACC Tournament second round • Hit a three and scored four points in the first half as UNC built a 16-point lead at Florida State • Played 10 minutes vs. the Seminoles, his longest outing in ACC play this season • Entered the first half at Louisville with UNC ahead by three and helped UNC extend the lead to 11 over the final five minutes of the half • Season-high and career-high tying nine points in 16 minutes vs. The Citadel • Attempted and made his first free throws of the season vs. the Bulldogs • Also tied his career best with six rebounds.


FRESHMAN SEASON (2021-22)

Played in 30 games • Made 20 of his last 41 field goal attempts (.488) • Averaged 7.5 points and 4.5 rebounds in 19.5 minutes in the two NCAA games in Fort Worth • Played all five minutes of overtime in the NCAA second round win over No. 1 seed Baylor • Opened the scoring in overtime with a corner three, his third 3FG of the season • Played a season-high 24:57 against the Bears and set season highs in points (9), field goals (4) and steals (2) • Was 3 for 3 from the floor for six points and grabbed a season-high six rebounds in 14 minutes vs. Marquette in the NCAA first round • Hit a corner three at Virginia Tech, his second of the season • Season-high eight points and tied his season best with four rebounds in a season-best 15 minutes in the win over Florida State • Had two rebounds and was a season-best tying plus 8 in the first half in the win at Clemson • Also was a plus 8 in late minutes against Duke • Scored six points and had a season-best four rebounds in five minutes in the home win over NC State • Seven points in 12 minutes at Miami • Made his first three against the Hurricanes • Scored four points in 10 minutes at Boston College • Scored his first collegiate points in the win over UNC Asheville on 11/23.

Played for Coach Perry Tyndall at Kinston High School, where he started for four seasons • Missed three weeks of action in his senior season after suffering a fall during the first game • Averaged 30.3 points and 10.3 rebounds in his last three regular-season games (32 points against Ayden-Grifton, 30 against Greene Central and 29 vs. North Lenoir) • As a junior, he averaged 19.7 points and 11 rebounds in leading Kinston to a 26-4 record • Kinston went 83-20 in his career • A four-time honor roll student and ranked top-15 academically in his class • The 2019-20 and 2020-21 Eastern Conference Player of the Year • Also a four-time all-conference selection, two-time all-state (first team in 2021, second team in 2020) and all-district honoree • All-tournament pick at the 2019-20 John Wall Holiday Invitational.
