Bharat producer slams Priyanka Chopra for quitting film: It was unprofessional of her

B-Town has been in a whir of excitement, ever since Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas's engagement was confirmed. Due to the engagement, the actress quit Salman Khan's Bharat, which was meant to be her Bollywood comeback after two years.

While director Ali Abbas Zafar has been cordial and happy for her, all is not well with the Bharat team. Bharat producer, Nikhil Namit called her unprofessional.

In an interview to an entertainment portal, "Priyanka told us she had to exit due to her engagement, two days ago. It was a little unprofessional of her to do it so suddenly," he said.

There are numerous reports doing the rounds that Salman Khan is furious with PeeCee and has vowed to never work with her again.

PeeCee had to begin shooting for Bharat in mid-August after completing her 10-day-long schedule for Shonali Bose's The Sky is Pink.

Nick popped the question in London on Priyanka's 36th birthday, a source revealed to People.com. The singer bought the engagement ring at a Tiffany store in New York City.

Nick and Priyanka sparked rumours when they arrived at last year's Met Gala together, both dressed in Ralph Lauren creations. The actress had explained on Jimmy Kimmel's show, "We were both wearing Ralph Lauren and we decided to go together. It was fun."

It was Priyanka's Quantico co-star Graham Rogers who introduced them, Nick revealed. "We met up like in New York the first time and the same day I think we found out that we are both going to the Met Gala with Ralph Lauren. And as strange as it sounds but we couldn't have planned it. We just had a great time. She's a lovely person," he had said in an interview last year.
