FRIDAY, JUNE 7:

Friday is National Donut Day! Head to Fountain Square and join in for an afternoon filled with free donuts (while supplies last), a donut-stacking competition between local first responders and iconic Cincinnati media personalities, mascot appearances, games, music and so much more. Happening from noon to 1pm.

Have some Puppets for Lunch at the Grove Event Center. Plan to pack your picnic lunch and favorite blanket for an entertaining lunchtime Madcap Puppet Show performance on the lawn behind the Springfield Township Arts Center. After the show, stay for a make it – take it craft and enjoy an afternoon in the park.

Enjoy Soak Up The Fun, Summer Bash at Montgomery’s Quarter Park on Friday starting at 3:30pm. The Remains will provide live music and you can enjoy some yummy food from the pop-up food tents. They’ll have face painting and scavenger hunts for adults and kids, a flower truck, a magician, and more. Cap off the evening with a movie in the park – The Sandlot starting at 8pm.

It’s Outdoor Movie Night at Spring Grove Cemetery and Arboretum. Pack your blankets and chairs and head to the Rose Garden to watch Barbie starting at 9pm.

SATURDAY, JUNE 8:

The Hello Kitty Truck will be at Kenwood Towne Centre on Saturday, 10am – 7pm. Pick up some supercute treats & merch, while supplies last. You’ll find the truck in the parking lot near Cheesecake Factory.

The O.F.F. Market will be at Summit Park on Saturday, 10am – 4pm. The O.F.F. Market is a monthly marketplace that brings together small businesses, artisans, brewers, bakers, farmers and the like to provide a unique shopping experience.

The Hamilton Flea will be set up at Marcum Park on Saturday, 10am-4pm. This monthly event features a wide variety of artisans who specialize in handcrafted goods and unique, high-quality services.

There’s a Flea Market at White Water Shaker Village (Harrison) on Saturday, 10am-2pm.

Enjoy any one of the free Saturday Outdoor Concert Series:

  • Fifth and Vine Live at Fountain Square, 7-10pm
  • Music at the Esplanade, Smale Park, 5-7pm
  • Saturday in the Park, Inwood Park, 10am-noon
  • Summer Concert Series at Boone Woods Park (Ky), 7-8:30pm

There’s a Shred Day happening at Emery Federal Credit Union in Blue Ash, 9am-1pm. All are welcome! Bring your unwanted or sensitive documents or papers to any Emery Federal Credit Union (7890 Kemper Rd.) and they’ll dispose of them for you.

SUNDAY, JUNE 9:

Enjoy a free performance from Cincinnati Opera with Opera at the Park, Sunday’s installment of OTR Performs at Washington Park. Pack your blankets and chairs and enjoy an evening on the lawn in front of our gorgeous Music Hall. Starts at 6pm.

Heritage Village Museum hosts “On Freedom’s Doorstep” on Sunday, 1-5pm. Meet reenactors in historical clothing portraying  historical figures. This event will include vendors, music, a Freedom Trail, a food truck, and hands-on activities. The event is presented by The Voice of Black Cincinnati in partnership with Heritage Village Museum. Admission charged.

Weather permitting, join Pigs Aloft Kite Association as they fly their extraordinary kites on the front lawn of the VOA Museum, noon-4pm.

The 46th annual Concours d’ Elegance will be at the beautiful Ault Park. 200 premier collector vehicles are displayed in the formal gardens of this historic park, with a classic pavilion overlooking the show field. The show features an automotive art show, brunch, and craft beer garden. The show opens at 10am and closes at 4pm. Shuttles available.

There’s an Eagle Nest Watch happening at Winton Woods, 4-6pm. This free drop-in event will allow you to (hopefully) observe the bald eagle pair as they nest for a second year at Winton Lake. Interpreters will be available to answer questions as well as give the history of the current breeding pair of eagles. Parking will be available at the disc golf course and guests can walk down to the Adventure Outpost boat launch for the best viewing opportunities. Art on Vine will be at the Court Street Plaza on Sunday, noon to 6pm.

Take a free Public Tour of the Cincinnati Art Museum, offered on Saturdays and Sundays at 2pm. No need to register – meet in the lobby.

Union Terminal Rotunda Tours are offered by Heritage Program docents at Cincinnati Museum Center on Fridays – Sundays. During a 45-minute tour of the 1933 train station, docents explain the architecture, construction and art of one of the finest examples of the Art Deco style. Hear details about the world-famous mosaic murals. These limited capacity public tours are first come, first served and will depend on availability. Tours are free; there is a charge to park.

Rookwood Pottery offers Behind the Scenes Tours of Rookwood on most Fridays and Saturdays. Tickets required.

Take a tour with Cincinnati Food Tours and savor some local food and culture. Times vary, but tasting tours are offered weekly at Findlay Market and in other delicious neighborhoods. Information and reservations at www.cincinnatifoodtours.com
