- Nate080411Nashua, NH1,016 contributionsWhat can you say. This spot is a great place for the NFL fan and there is so much to see. When we entered they said a standard visit is about 3-4 hours, and they were right. I wouldn't say we were slow when reviewing the artifacts, but it still took us about 4 hours to go through the place. You can easily stay the enter day here. They have food onsite and just offsite that you can breakup your day and stay fed. The pro shop is exactly what you would have expected, merch from all teams and for the Pro Football Hall of Fame. I think any football fan should come and make this a must visit.Written May 26, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - beth1662018Cleveland, OH29 contributionsMy husband and I visited for our anniversary. It was a short Friday/Saturday getaway, but was so nice to be in a beautiful place that had everything we wanted: several great meals, evening entertainment, hiking, and lovely scenery. It was perfect to recharge and reconnect. We stayed in a villa and the room was lovely and very clean. The fireplace was cozy, and the room layout was perfect. We tried all three restaurants, and we ate consistently delicious meals with great wine, coffee, or bourbon pairings.
Cons: We would love to come back in the summer when the vines are green. The shower was cold, and occasionally the building was noisy as others were coming or going, so we would probably try the Casa next time.Written April 23, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. You can also play a scavenger hunt as you go thru the museum which is fun. The owner is full of information that is an added bonus. I have a very bad back, so ,I really appreciated the seating throughout the museum to rest my back. We would highly recommend this place.Written May 5, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- GroveanUnion Grove, WI90 contributionsLearned a great deal about President McKinley and his wife. Very unique to have a presidential library established and maintained by a local historical group.Written September 23, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - David C14 contributionsHaving traveled all over the world, I have been very fortunate to experience excellence in various forms. Before this visit to Larry Pulka's, I had Warther's Museum in Dover as a must see in the Buckeye state. Now I add the Blue Water Majestic Museum to anyone's Bucket List. After my wife and I visited Larry's place yesterday, I was totally moved by the genius, his skill, and perseverance. His passion for ship building jumps out at you. As a graduate of the US Naval Academy, I have always appreciated great shipbuilding, no matter the scale. Being with Larry yesterday, I felt like I was in the presence of a Master.
Do not let the exterior of the museum put you off. Like an oyster, the gems are inside.
Truly grateful for having visited this museum.Written November 12, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jerry SNew Philadelphia, OH90 contributionsWent to see 1917 after finding out that they were showing the film.
What a great place to see a movie! First you get entertained by one of the few remaining Kilgen organs and the only one in it's original setting! Great to hear some of the music it creates.
Movie was great and seeing it on a HUGE screen with a great sound system was a treat, Nice surroundings, not crowded, reasonably priced and had all of the amenities of any theater without the inflated costs!Written February 24, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. From a rhino made of tires, to huge masks at the top of one building, to an octopus finding its way out of another building, there is much to look at. Be prepared to do some walking but most of it is visible from the main street with the big Canton mural on the wall.Written March 20, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - KayOhio222 contributionsThere is not enough words to explain how much Sippo lake park, it's amazing. There's many activities that it is easy to spend a whole day here. They have 3 entrances to the park with different things at each one and you can walk to each entrance so its best to park by the library. In addition to the lake and trails they have the exploration gateway. Here they have a library, gift shop, canalway center, playground and is great for kids and has some of the best views of Sippo lake. On the west side of the park they have the conservation center were you can meet some animals. I could go on and on my all you need to know is that it is you NEED TO GO! - GroveanUnion Grove, WI90 contributionsVery interesting history of First Ladies. Special exhibit was Jackie Kennedy and was very well done. Would have like more information on the changing role(s) of First Ladies - especially from the last 50+ years.Written September 23, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Barb WCleveland, OH56 contributionsDefinitely worth visiting. Be sure to allow enough time to watch the movie in the registration center. Our docent was knowledgable and kept our attention. Much of the house is not open to view but the sections that are are really interesting. FYI if you have a National Parks pass admission is free. It's not really a "must do" but it's interesting.Written October 21, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - cubbynanaCanton, OH24 contributionsThe Art center is truly a part of the community, at large. What you see happening is a reflection of the larger community.
