What does the copper ore hammer do?
I see ore hammers in JEI from the mod "all the ores" but I can't find a description of what they are doing.
Any hints?

They allow to double an ingot or ores into dust and you usually get 2 output.
How do I transform ores into dust? It I mine with the hammer the ore block just disappears.
I believe it’s a crafting thing but haven’t done it myself. Put the hammer and the ore in the grid together
raw ore from normal mining process into crafting slot + hammer in crafting slot gives an output of dust...
Although Im not so sure about the doubling thing it will definately crush ores manually instead of having to use a pulverizer or crusher machine.
It does double but with raw ores.
That would make sense. Thanks I only ever really used it on processed ingots when I was too impatient to wait on the mekanism crusher

You can also make things into plates by placing 2 ingots
