    I reserved Toulouse Petit's single 8-person table for a birthday party. The service was friendly & impeccable. The food was delicious. Friends who had been to New Orleans said it compared favorably to New Orleans/ cajun/ creole food there.

    Really great, how could you not have a great meal with a menu like that? so many choices and opportunities to come back and have a different meal.  We shared the pork chop, the seafood, and the gnocchi all amazing…

    The host greeted us warmly and seated us immediately. Our server joined us soon after we sat and provided excellent service. As we dined I noted the rest of the staff members were prompt and friendly. The food and drinks were delicious! And the restroom was clean. An overall wonderful experience. I strongly recommend it as a higher price point dining experience. If street parking is a challenge, there is a public parking lot one block west of the restaurant.

    Awesome steaks, great service. I had the ribeye with puréed potatoes, medium rare. My wife had the barbecue shrimp with grits, which spicy, had a great Cajun flavor.

    We came here for my best friends birthday and they made it special! They gave us free beignets for her birthday with a candle on it. We also came during brunch happy hour and were thrilled at the $20-25 plates and $14 cocktails. Will definitely come back! Only took points off on the ambience because we were here in the morning and didn’t realize they don’t light the wall candles then. The food and environment were amazing though! Will come again :)

    Authentically crafted Cajun and Creole extensive menu. Not cheap, but so worth it for that special-occasion dining. Try them. You'll love it

    Toulouse Petit provides a very nice ambiance and cajun feel as well as great cajun food. And that is what you should stick to enjoy the most of this restaurant. Venturing into the regular bacon Benedict, steak frites will give you an okay meal but you win’t be taking advantage of what makes this place stand out. The lucy shrimp crawfish and andouille is strongly recommended. The staff are generally very nice but don’t expect over the top service. The menu is so expansive that they don’t really have the energy to explain everything and despite having a compulsory gratuity of 20% on special occasions the service is not 20% exceptional. They are even nice enough to let you pour your own wine. Reason this place gets 3 stars from me instead of 4-5 that it deserves from the cajun food is the hidden fees. Again 20% gratuity on special occasions regardless of group size. Service is not excelled by that amount. Plus there is a ‘living wage’ expense that got thrown in as well in the bill However they did mention that gratuity was included

    Fantastic food, phenomenal service. Disappointed that the restaurant did not clarify their kitchen closes at 3 and allowed us to make a 230 brunch reservation. By the time we had time to review the menu we had 10 mins to get our order in. That said our server went above and beyond and was very helpful with ordering. She apologized for the lack of clarity. Food is extremely good, service is even better.

    I've had some really great meals here (typically dinners). I chose Toulouse for Mother's Day brunch this year. The food at brunch was only ok - my meal was dry and the eggs were overcooked (Chicken fried chicken w/ sausage gravy).

    The menu offers a variety and the cocktails are really nice! In the breakfast menu, the eggs are offered soft scrambled which would be lovely. The dish that came out was like high heat burnt eggs with giant pieces of ham- no care given- it’s a turn off for this place sorry folks. Our server had zero effs to give when I tried to cajole her I think everyone there might just be unhappy. I didn’t bother to explain why I needed to send the dish back since it didn’t appear she cared anyway. Just go there for drinks!

    One of the best meals I’ve had this year. Get the Brussels Sprout shareable. Big Easy Jumbalaya was great. Just the bread with butter and salt was great.

    Eli was our waiter and made the experience so amazing. He was super knowledgeable of the dinner menu + wine list. He was very intentional about checking in on us but wasn’t overbearing. We’ll most certainly be back and request to be in Eli’s section.

    We went here first thing after landing in Seattle and it was fabulous. We had trouble choosing what to eat since everything sounded so good. Highly recommend any of the benedicts and don't pass on the beignets!

    A lovely find in the Queen Anne district. The menu was varied and delicious, service was very attentive, and the atmosphere is warm and cozy – especially as it gets dark with all the flickering tea lights. We sat in booths, which didn’t allow us to partake of the pre fixe happy hour menu, but it looked amazing. Scallops over sweetcorn and bacon were fantastic! They also had some non-alcoholic cocktails that were nice. Would love to come back.

    With such a beautiful ambiance, it was nice being at a place that allowed casual wear and high energy. Lots of laughs, basketball was on the tv but it's a very proper environment! I suggest the bolognese and beignets!

    Having visited Toulouse Petit throughout the years I lament the decrease in food quality and the increase in prices. The French baguette tasted like it came from Safeway, the wine list (by the glass) don’t even list a vintage despite commanding upwards of $20 a glass. Entrees were mediocre, and desserts were too but you can expect to now pay $18 for a single slice of pie. There’s a 5% living wage surcharge tacked on to your bill, a surprise to me, and the receipt sternly warns you that this is not part of or in lieu of a tip. Just charge the prices you need to charge and enough with the surprise fees!! The service was excellent but the food provides no reason to ever return.

    I've been wanting to try this place out for a long time, but it's always been full. I made reservations this time for 9am and I think we were the first dinners. We weren't disappointed. The food was incredible.

    Stephan uses Louisiana magic (great 1-liners and keen eyes-n-ears that miss nothing) and is one of Seattle’s best bartenders. His silent partner adds the one-two punch to the duo’s superior service experience.

    Great experience and service! We got the beignets as our appetizer, Lucy and the duck confit hash for brunch and the pancake entry on the kids menu for the kids and it did not disappoint. Good portion size and the food was executed very well. The Lucy is so good! Looking forward to our next visit already.

    So I took my son before the AJR concert and was a bit worried that the food would not be to a 12 year old's liking but it was the only place nearby that I could get reservations. We shared a Steak and Frites and both thought it was excellent, then we had beignets and those were awesome too. The waitress was great did not give us any grief for splitting a meal and in fact had it split on two plates for us - which was great and unexpected. Some stuffier restaurants will charge to do this, but Toulouse didn't and were totally cool with my kiddo being at their nice place. I totally want to go back and order some of the more interesting things on the menu w/ grownups =)
