Fairly busy, good atmosphere. Waiters jolly, maybe a little too jolly. Table of four, simple orders - among the order was three steaks, with peppercorn sauce, one asked for ketchup as well. Steaks came, enjoy your meal. Chips? Oh yes, I’ll just get them. Chips came, sauce? Oh yes, I’ll just get it. It’s not difficult to get something so simple right first time. The steaks were ok. Starters and mains, two bottles of red wine, two glasses of white wine. £403 including 13.5% service. Will not be returning as for similar money bette5 steaks and better service are available elsewhere.

Balthazar never fails. Going here since I can remember and it’s just still great! Delicious food in a nice atmosphere either way amazing service

The service and food are terrific. Fun atmosphere even at 7pm. Given the rents in Covent Garden this represents good value

Chilli prawns lacked flavour, the muscles had two hairs in them, Sauvignon Blanc was weak as was the Malbec. The waiter was inattentive however the calves liver was delicious! But overall horrendously overpriced and underwhelming.

Alberto was a fantastic waiter and the service was quick and efficient, shortly before our west end show. Food was also incredible value for money with generous portion sizes!
