Replace the battery

Replace the battery, and then secure it in place inside the computer.

1. Using both hands, slide the front edge of the battery into the cut-outs, and then lower the rear edge onto its connector on the system board.

   

2. Use a Phillips-head screwdriver to replace the four 5mm (0.19 in) screws that secure the battery in place.

   

3. Replace the top cover.
