This is an absolute must-see when in Venice, right up there with St. Mark's. Absolutely beautiful 18th century palace, and there's an ACTV stop right next to it, so it's easy to cross the canal to visit. Lots of great English info in the many rooms. Would recommend over Ca d'Oro, Fenice, and possibly even the Doge's Palace.

Wonderfully located on the Grand Canal and easy to access in spite of the closure of the bridge at the front of the site. This is not my preferred period of architecture but it is impressive with excellent interpretation allowing understanding of how rooms were used and how they were decorated. Highlights for me were not really parts of the palazzo itself but the historic pharmacy on the upper floor to the rear and easily missed and a marvellous collection of miniature paintings on ivory by a woman artist new to me. Her pictures were exquisite, highly detailed and deserved more time than I had allowed myself to view them. If tempted to view them take a magnifying glass with you, you will see so much more! Look too at the gondola on the ground floor entry, I hadn’t appreciated how curved they are!

Ca’ Rezzonico is stunning Venetian Villa with splendid painting collection. The enormous ballroom and numerous other rooms organized on three floors are simply splendid. The paintings collection is impressive. We spent three wonderful hours. Highly recommended for anyone is interested in Venetian architecture and art.

In an updated, modernized, Casa on the grand Canal, beautiful artwork by Italian greats such Tiepolo, Longhi, Canaletto, and Lazzarini are displayed. We enjoyed the exhibits which focused to a large extent on Venice itself. We can appreciate how prosperous the city was as a shipping center for the Mediterranean. We also enjoyed the café, which had seats right on the canal for reasonably priced snacks.
