Nancy Lee Csurbak, who served on the faculty of St. John Vianney High School, Holmdel, from 2000 to 2023, died April 29.
Funeral services will be held in the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold. Viewing will be May 6 form 4 to 8 p.m. and the funeral services will be May 7 at 10 a.m. Interment will be in St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.
Ms. Csurbak was raised in Englishtown and she was a graduate of St. John Vianney High School and Georgian Court University, Lakewood. She taught in several grammar schools in the Metuchen Diocese before returning to her high school alma mater to teach theology. She was also involved in various clubs and activities, especially Covenant House and the Lenten “Soup and Scripture” program.
Ms. Csurbak was predeceased by her father, brother and two sisters. She is survived by her mother, three sons and one daughter and their spouses; six grandchildren, as well as cousins and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and friends.
