Scott Carson says he's loved his time at Manchester City and has no regrets about joining from Derby County.

Carson originally signed on loan from the Rams in 2019, before renewing the agreement 12 months later.

He made his City debut away at Newcastle towards the end of the 2020-21 season, and this summer he signed a permanent deal, keeping him at the Club until the summer of 2022.

During his time at City, he has provided a wealth of experience gathered over a 17-year career, which has seen him play for West Bromwich Albion, Liverpool and England, as well as Turkish outfit Bursaspor.

He’s also become one of the most popular members of the first-team dressing room.

“I’ve loved it from the minute I signed,” he says. “I wouldn’t say I had reservations
about coming in at first.

“Obviously, in my head and all through my career, I’ve wanted to play, and coming here, I knew that wasn’t going to be the case. And I knew it was going to be very
difficult to play any games.

“But it was a decision of, do I get sent with the kids at Derby or do I come and train with
the best players in the world and they were learn from the best manager in the world.”
