Several dinosaurs, some of which are original and some are casts. - Christina SNewport News, VA107 contributionsI was only in Frankfurt to catch a plane, but looked for something to do the day before. This turned out to be an interesting visit. Admittedly, I am not well-versed about Goethe, but know the basics. Honestly, if this had been Hans the baker's preserved house it would have been just as cool to visit. The architecture was comely, the furnishings were alternately elegant and over the top. There is a lovely garden with an immense fig tree. The still-green figs were as big as my fist! I'd have loved to have gotten a ripe one.
Upstairs is a whole art museum. I didn't even see the entire thing. The staircase to access it reminded me of a Fritz Lang movie. If you go, you'll see what I mean.
