This place was awesome!!!! Our tour guides were great! Cooper was our first guide and showed us around the historic cabin the Bell family lived in. The second tour guides name was Eric. He took us through the Bell Witch Cave. Eric was great! A born story teller and made sure to show us all of the really cool places and it’s history. All of the employees we interacted with were very helpful and loved telling us about the history and answering all of our questions. If you’re interested in witches, spirits, and history then this place is a must go!!!!!

I absolutely loved going into the cave. The tour guide was super friendly and there to assist with whatever our group needed. The cabin was okay, but not what I really expected. The tour guide for that portion was super knowledgeable about the Bell background and old stories.

We have wanted to check this place out forever and finally decided to on a whim Friday night. It was a little busy but nothing too crazy. The tour was supposed to start at 10, it started at 10:30. No biggie but I feel like they could remedy this problem somehow. The way people talked they always run 30 minutes behind. Cave was awesome even without paranormal events. Overall great experience and no regrets.

Beautiful yet creepy place to visit! It's a must see place. The owners of this property were very nice. The property is beautiful and well kept. We loved the tour and hearing the history. Take pictures inside the cave. I even had a couple of pictures that I did not take show up in my gallery..... creepy!

What an absolutely amazing experience!! I took 3 of my boys (10, 8, 5). They have watched countless documentaries preparing to come. The tour guide was awesome. She told the story so well and answered all the questions. Being in the cave was so eerie and awesome. My kids are begging to come back!

I had been wanting to come here for years and finally got the chance to and it did not dissapoint. The tour of the cabins were informative and engaging, and the short walk to the cave was gorgeous. Not to mention the tour inside the cave which was breath taking, and also slightly haunting. I took my 9 year old son with me and even he found it all engaging. Prices were not bad, and I even purchased a shot glass for my collection. Over all definitely worth a visit! We will be coming back!

Bell Witch Cave was fun. We had a great time. My grandson was so brave going into the cave. Wear comfortable but sturdy shoes. I have arthritis and all the walking on uneven ground played havoc on my knees.

Kind of a long review, but I'm going to include as many helpful tips as I can remember, so bear with me... Visiting the Bell Witch Cave is such a fun experience, especially around Halloween. The price is very reasonable, $23 per adult for a tour of the cabin as well as the cave. The guide for the cabin tour will gather your group on the steps of the cabin & tell you a history of the Bell family & the legend surrounding the witch's curse, then they allow you to explore the cabin rooms on a self guided tour which ends in the small one room museum, which displays news articles, photographs, & artifacts related to the property. After the cabin tour you follow a trail beside the cabin down to the cave, just a heads up, this area is not wheelchair accessible & you do have to walk down a steep hill, first grass, then gravel, there are a few stairs as well, keep this in mind when planning your visit & I highly recommend wearing appropriate walking shoes or boots, I always wear boots because the cave itself does have water running through it that you WILL have to walk through. The cave itself is not very large, at least the areas open to the public, it primarily consists of two large chambers & two passage ways, the first passage way is fairly easy to walk through, the second is much more narrow, you will have to duck down at times & you will be walking over water & somewhat slippery stones, there is some climbing involved in the second chamber, but you are given the opportunity to opt out of climbing or opt out of the second chamber entirely. The tour guides explain all of this & give you opportunity to leave before proceeding. If you are comfortable with the narrow pathway & the stream you walk through, I highly recommend visiting both chambers, the cave is absolutely beautiful & well worth the visit. The tour guides are very well informed on the history of the property as well as the legend of the Bell witch & the Bell family. Our guides this year, Carly & Amelia, were absolutely wonderful. They told us about the history of the cave & the surrounding area, they were able to answer all of the groups questions & they made the tour incredibly fun! Amelia was the guide for the first chamber & she is very knowledgeable & an excellent story teller, she kept it fun & informative & she also managed to navigate her way over the rocks & through the cave while wearing a beautiful skirt, she never tripped or dropped any of her papers, which I found incredibly impressive. Carly was the guide for the second chamber & she managed to climb the rocks & tread through the water in a beautiful skirt as well. (They need recognition, it's not easy being graceful in a muddy cave while wearing a long skirt...just saying. Credit where it's due 😁) Also, there are a large number of spiders in the cave (arachnophobes beware), Carly was not only guiding us safely through the second passage, but prevented us from face planting into the spiders as well....much appreciated! My adult daughter experienced some light headedness in the second chamber of the cave due to a heart condition (we thought the tour wouldn't be too much for her, we were wrong), so we were the last ones out & it took us longer than expected to leave, it was the end of the night, nearing midnight, & both guides were so patient & incredibly friendly, showing nothing but professionalism & concern. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Aside from the tours, there is also a haunted hayride, $20 per adult, & who doesn't love a haunted hayride?! We didn't have time for it this trip, but we've taken it in previous visits & it's just old fashioned Halloween fun. We plan to go back later on this month just for the hayride. There are concessions offered as well, various different food items, cold beverages, hot chocolate, & coffee. They also have a gift shop you can visit at the end of the tour. Parking is in a level field, there is no charge for parking. There are porta john restrooms on site. Check the weather before you go, due to the water in the cave, it will flood, causing tours to cancel for safety.

Number 2: Bell Witch The story of the Bell Witch of Tennessee began circulating in the early 1800's, after Farmer John Bell and his family moved to the community of Red River, Tennessee, from North Carolina. Before long, the family started reporting a variety of STRANGE incidents. These included whispering voices similar to those of old women singing hymns, night terrors about RATS gnawing away at the family's beds, and the sighting of a bizarre animal, which appeared to be a hybrid between a rabbit and a dog. A spirit believed to have been that of a woman called Kate Batts began haunting Bell's home. The entity was able to speak, change form, and EVEN affect the physical environment. According to legends, the family also discovered a vial an unknown liquid inside the house. They gave a dose of the liquid to their cat, and their animal died on the spot. As the story goes, before he became president, Andrew Jackson had heard of Bell's troubles, and decided to investigate the haunting. He, and several of his men, including a witch-slayer that carried silver bullets in his gun, visited Bell's farm, and it was JACKSON, who dubbed the presence, the "Bell Witch." By 1820, John Bell had grown ill due to the witch's constant torment. By some accounts, it was the witch that actually poisoned him. After his funeral, the sounds of laughter and SINGING could be heard coming from the graveyard, and Bell became the only person in history whose death was attributed to the actions of a spirit.

I honestly do not even know where to start. Miss Candy is a wonderful, sweet lady and I am so glad she was our guide! She gives a ton of information during, some is first hand experience and some is through research her family has found when purchasing the property. The land was just amazing to be on. The cave is just magical. What a sight to behold. It is something everyone should get to experience. Especially if you know the story. The ancient history goes back thousands of years. It is very active so protect yourself! I highly, highly recommend the night lantern tours. They are 2 hours and 3 hours. I did the 2 hours, and it flew by. I can't say enough about this place. It's something you really have to check out for yourself.

Great place to visit with family. Tour was spectacular and enjoyable. We decided on the 3 hour evening tour.

We had so much fun going on the tour !! The people that did the tour was wonderful and friendly , it was rainy out that day but didn’t stop us from going. If you go make sure you wear good tennis shoes that you don’t care if they get dirty. But the people were wonderful and they gave us a lot of back story which made it all the more fun. I definitely recommend it !!!

I planned the cave tour for a date night with my husband. We had a great time! It was very busy, (visited in October, at dark) and our ticket reservation had gotten a little behind but we didn’t mind! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, from the cabin tour to inside the cave! I recommend everyone check this place out!!

Worth visiting definitely. Make sure to wear shoes with good traction. It's a little slippery and I was slipping n sliding. We were in the last group of the day. Very spooky 👻. Make sure to bring a dollar to leave so nothing follows you home!!

Definitely not worth the time ! The house isn’t even the original house. The cave is small, and not what was expected The female tour guide has been at everything we’ve done this summer, from River Adventures, Bell Witch Tanking, and now this🙄 The stories she told wasn’t even believable, due to her saying multiple times “ no let me stop! MY BAD, that wasn’t me …..it was a co-worker”. UGH. So FAKE

A great outting for the spooky season! If you are a fan of scary stories, horror, witches, or caves, this is must do! Great for friends, couples and families. We were the only tourists there, everyone else seemed like locals. There is a cute waiting area with games and a place to order snacks, food, and warm drinks. (Wish they had hot cider though). We did this last minute on a whim and were so happy we did. This was our first time in Tennessee and we enjoy Halloween & spooky things. My boyfriend found it on google and so we booked the cabin and cave tour. There are also hayrides in the evening. The story in the cabin was really intresting and the kid's room super creepy. The cave was bigger and way more interesting than we expected. Even if you aren't a believer, the cave its self is worth the tour to explore. For tall folks, the path gets narrow and low. I am 5"2 and I was mostly short enough not to hit my head. The cave has many new stalatites forming as well as geodes so it's pretty cool looking. But be careful! Don't take anything from the cave cause those who have tend to suddenly get loads of bad luck. There is even a binder of all the letters from guests who have taken a stone, geode etc. from the cave and mailed it back. So you've been warned! The day we went, it was freezing cold! So I recommend wearing layers or bringing a large scarf or blanket just in case. Overall, we had great guides who seemed to enjoy their jobs and telling the Bell Witch Stories. Our guide in the cave even showed us scratches guests have suddenly got in the cave along with spooky things people have seen in the cave. Unfortunately, our tour was very normal haha! Probably for the best :)

The room in the back of the cabin was really neat with all the history/articles. The cave was beautiful, just very crowded and it was difficult for some guests due to loose rocks and the narrowness of some passageways. Great stories in the cave. Would love to learn more about the Native American burial sites. My only complaint is that the tour guide we had -young girl dressed as poison ivy would have delivered the story / history better. She seemed either exhausted or frustrated. She couldn't relay much information.

The owners were really nice and friendly. Cooper was our guide with the cabin and was very informative. The young girl who actually took us through the cave was nice but shouldn’t be a tour guide for the cave. She just wasn’t very informative and seemed to want to get in and out of the cave. There wasn’t anytime to really look around or listen for noises or anything. It was fun but not a WOW experience like I was hoping.

Very clean and well kept. While we were there grounds men empty the bins twice. Only problem was we had to be in a hurry to pack up during barbecue because the shed is reserved during certain hours and the sign is not in clear view it was a bit chaos for the family beside us who went through the trouble of decorating for their birthday party and and to leave. They were so mad and sad in the same breath.

My kids love to play here! The other kids and parents visiting have always been friendly not like another park we used to go to in Lebanon. They have 2 areas of playgrounds for different ages kids, great idea! My son plays basketball in the community central all the time with out any problems. Restrooms have always been clean.

Cute little park with a visitors center, tennis courts, a playground. And more! The farmers market today is great, including local farmers, food trucks, crafts and fun!

Regardless of weather or not “Benghazi ain’t going away” is true, this park is a kids dream. They threw everything available at this playground, and while it isn’t aesthetic or coherent - it sure is entertaining.

Great park and has a splash pad for those hot days. My son loves this place. The playground is big and is separated for little kids and the bigger kids. A lot of seating for parents, also enough space to bring your own chairs. Some picnic tables by the playgrounds to sit at and eat.

Phenomenal park that has different areas for different age groups. There are plenty of shaded areas as well as picnic areas for family gatherings. The splash pad is right next door if you wanted to male a day of it during the summer months. Bathrooms are also located close by so it's easy to not have accidents.

One of the beautiful, well maintained and easily accessible park in Mt.Juliet. This park is good for all ages - play area, tennis court, splash pad, walk path, running trails, extensive parking etc. There are a lot of activities held at the park depending on the timing or season. Only downside is the restrooms, it's a bit tiny to handle such footprint at the park, hope this gets better. You don't need a reason to visit this place, just show up and there is plenty to be engaged in.

Great playground for the kids. The area for little kids is fenced off and covered. They also have a splash pad. It's very crowded but we always have a good time!

It is a great park and playground for kids!! There are parts for biking and walking. Lots of slides, swings, and also facilities for climbing. The splash pool is free all summer!! There's tennis courts, sand volleyball, & a basketball court. Kids can also skate at the rink. Great fun for kids!!

Great park - no community pool, but there are tennis courts, splash pad, pavilions, picnic tables, a great, fenced playground, walking path, amphitheater and skate area to name a few. City does a great job maintaining this park.

A fantastic FREE park, named after that you famous country music singer Charlie Daniels. There are all kinds of children play equipment, tennis courts, and water speak area. There are several Pavilions that can be rented and are very clean. There are also baseball fields and soccer fields. this is a great place to take the kids or grandkids and enjoy an afternoon of play and fun!

We stayed here in early October with family and friends and it was a perfect long weekend. We stayed in a camper in campsite 3 on one of the more private lots. It was the first weekend that the weather started getting really cool at night so we really enjoyed the campfire. The amenities are great at this park. Firewood is easily accessible at the store and very affordable. There are several parks with swings, slides, and jungle gyms which was a big deal for my 4 year old. For any grocery needs there is a very well stocked dollar general less than a mile up the road, and an Aldis not far away. There are showers on site and while they aren't perfect, the water gets nice and hot and they are spacious. The only issue is there is no curtain or partition to keep your clothes and toiletries bag from getting wet. Best advice- put it in the farthest corner near the door and if you have a trash bag put it over your stuff. The park itself is beautiful. There are deer everywhere and all kinds of other wildlife. The hiking trails are great as well. Overall we really enjoyed Cedars of Lebanon and we will definitely be back in the near future.

I really enjoyed my hike. Trail(Hidden Springs)was rather muddy but still a good trek. The bathrooms inside guest services was clean and well taken care of.

It was very nice. Even tho it rained all weekend we had a good time camping. The Hidden Spring hiking loop was a beautiful hike. The waterfall into the cave (it was flowing quite a bit) was absolutely stunning. They have clean bathrooms and HOT showers. I would definitely like to go back when it isn't going to rain all weekend. Highly recommend!

Wonderful park with friendly staff. Lots of great hiking trails. The visitor center is small but well kept and easily accessible. There are clean restrooms inside the visitor center and a half mile loop hiking trial. There are shelters, picnic tables, kids play area, tennis court, beautiful butterfly garden and information center. There is also Jackson cave which requires permit to enter of course. Campgrounds and Cabin are available which can be reserved online or at the check-in station. Beautiful place to be irrespective of the time of the year!

First time camping here. We had a great experience! Online reservations for booking a campsite was easy. Price was great and you had an option to round up your cost to donate to the park. **PET FRIENDLY** Campground 1 sites are closer together than campground 2 & 3’s. But great atmosphere either way. Cabins are offered here too. Bathrooms were clean. The showers (at least in the ladies restroom at campground 1) did not have a shower curtain; but if you hang your stuff on the hooks your things should stay dry. There is a spot to do laundry here if you’re a camper. We did not use this amenity, but it’s great to know for future! A few playgrounds, a few trails, lots of nature! Heavy ranger presence at the parks, which I was surprised by- but thankful for. Staff was super friendly at check in and purchasing firewood at the gift shop/check in office. A gas station for basics is right outside the park, and there is a Dollar general down the road and further down the road is a Walmart We will definitely be back!

Lovely state park! It was very clean and well maintained. It is very dog friendly, as long as they're leashed. Lots of trails to hike and beautiful areas to see. Jackson Cave was very nice, just watch for unattended children throwing rocks off the top. Hidden Springs Trail was super great. Loved finding the Spring and listening to it.

Great park. There is a nice car loop for a drive and you can drive into the state forest as well. Come out in Noreen and it's only 20 minutes back to town. Hiking loops are .5 mile to 5 miles. Not bad at all and very clearly marked. A splash pad and many camping sites. Very peaceful.

We were so impressed with how much there was to do at this campground! There are so many trails, playgrounds, and bike/walk friendly roads. Our family of 6 stayed for 3 nights and had a lovely time. The sites were a bit cramped (our rig is 31') and parking our truck was a bit tricky. The store was convenient ands the staff were helpful and very friendly. Would definitely stay again-- it was absolutely beautiful!

I rented a space for my camper for drill weekend to save some money! I got there late and found that the space I rented needed a converter for my plug! When I made the reservation I told them 30 amp…luckily there was a helpful neighbor that had one or I would have west all night. I had to buy one from their store. There went some of the money I saved…next time it’s a hotel room for me

Winner in all ways. Great staff, and they do a great job of maintaining the park. Beautiful sites and in the AAA section big rigs have NO problems fitting or maneuvering. Very cool nature center/butterfly and hummer gardens. And there is a cave you can explore with a wash station after spelunking. Very clean bathrooms and showers. Close to Nashville too.

We booked an RV spot for overnight camping and we enjoyed the peace, quiet and secure spot. The shower and restroom was right opposite to area 3 with heaters and hot water which was such a plus on a cold morning. The park was almost full in December which definitely gave us the impression that Cedar park is very popular. All the amenities were as expected. We ended up hiking a 2 mile trail and we saw many deers and squirrels which was pretty exciting for my dogs! There wasn’t any check in process which helped us coming in late at night and we ended up spending a rather slow morning before heading out. The park is very well maintained with rangers around during the day.

We had camped here before and really liked the place. This time was different. Our site was not cleaned prior to our arrival. Had to clean beer cans and aluminum foil from the fire ring. Our grille had dozens of cigarette butts in it, so we used our own grill. A nearby site had a couple that played loud music and commercials that resounded throughout the campground. Not the park's fault, unless they allow it to continue, which they did. The same campers used the sink in the bathroom to wash their dishes (gross), and left trash on their site that was still there 2 days after they left. Exactly what are the camp hosts doing? Since there is not much to do in the area, without going to Nashville, I doubt we'll return.

This Park's Staff are truly pros! Our hiking club wanted to have a Christmas party in one of the shelters. That particular shelter was undergoing repairs on the fireplace. Having a shelter with a working fireplace was an essential part of our plan...and comfort. Prior to me reserving the shelter, Park staff member Teresa consulted with the Park manager and maintenance personnel to confirm the firm completion date of the repair. Not only was the fireplace completed in time for our party, Teresa communicated throughout the process to ease my peace of mind. I'll be honest, rarely have my experiences dealing with any aspect of the State of Tennessee been handled with efficiency and dispatch. This time however, it was. Very professional. The shelter was repaired, tidy and clean for our party. They even left the (super clean) bathrooms open this late in the year for us! Could not be happier. THANK YOU to all that helped with getting the shelter ready!!

Would definitely recommend this park. it's a nice place to bring your pets get some exercise and enjoy the relaxing setting. I always try and bring a bag to help pick up garbage while playing Disc Golf. Help keep the place looking great!

We love camping here. The campsites are good for RVs and Tent (we are tent campers). The bathhouse is decent and temperature controlled. There is a good disc golf course and three playgrounds. 😀 Our favorite thing to do here is the annual Halloween campground trick or treating. Also, a good place to get married as they have beautiful buildings.

Our stay was short and sweet but it was our 3rd stay because we love it! This time we were just stopping to break up our drive home but we were able to take a nice long walk and smell the incredible aromatic cedar trees and that can’t be beat! At night we had a roaring fire that also smelled like heaven. We left very early in the morning with regrets that we couldn’t stay longer. We will be back!!!

Haven't stayed there yet but seems like a really neat looking place. Campsites are way too expensive compared to other places you can camp in middle Tennessee. $40 a night for a campsite is reasonable but they quoted me $50 ish and that was before tax and fees . (Or that's the way I understood it. Cabins are also a bit high priced, even in the off season when nobodys renting them. When I went through there I only saw one cabin for rented and they were still charging $156 a night on the smallest one in the off season. It was cold out lol. Think they should be more reasonable with there prices, especially when they can't even rent them or potentially keep them rented for the price they charge (just my opinion, may not be the case. I only visited the park once . I drove around in there and looked at everything for a couple hours, stopped and asked questions at the front desk etc.

Great place for hiking whether you are looking for short, easy trails, moderate trails, or even multi-hour long hikes. Cedars is beautiful year round and the staff at the welcome center are incredibly helpful and kind!

This is definitely a place to visit. The park is beautiful. The visitor center is amazing. Katherine was such a pleasure to spend time with. We were able to make survival bracelets with her. She was very knowledgeable about the wildlife in the area. We also got to watch the snakes feed. What a great place!

It a great park; we always have gone there, and every year, it keeps getting better. This past weekend, the weather was great to get the camper out from winter hibernation and get out. It was packed with guests hiking and enjoying the weather. Camp host were very friendly.

Such a fun state park! If you like fishing, hiking and a ton of wildlife sightings then this park is for you! They have a lovely campground, beautiful hiking trails and a great group of staff and rangers. It’s just on the outskirts of Gallitin, TN. Stop by when you have a chance. It’s wonderful!

Really nice campground. First time here and all staff and rangers have been very nice. Highly recommend if you are looking for a place to camp. We definitely will be back. Nice to see wildlife in the park also. Have seen a ton of deer walking around and not too far away. Has been very quiet compared to a lot of other places we have stayed. Have heard owls and other nightlife talking. Very comforting place.

Bledsoe park is relatively small as state parks go, but offers nice easy trails and areas that are perfect for the whole family. Just behind the visitor's center is a paved trail area that's perfect for kids and those less mobile. There is a large playground and a few game areas too. The Shoreline trail will take you all the way around the park and is about 4 miles of easy to moderate difficulty (mostly easy but there is a section that goes down to the lakefront that's a little steep). No fishing or swimming at this park though.

Went for a guided evening kayak tour around the park, and it was awesome. Noticed a good amount of campers in the park, but all quiet groups enjoying the peacefulness, which is something, as a camper, I love to see.

Great campground, super friendly people. Pretty decent hiking trails. The hammock spots are the most private ones. Lots of animals. We seen raccoons, owls, a turtle, caterpillars, deer, armadillo, squirrels, and a few more. CHECK THOROUGHLY FOR TICS!!! We got like 6 each the first week and seen tons of babies but they can't bite you yet.

Just attended the 8th Annual History Trail here with my 3 and 5 year old. What a BEAUTIFUL campground! It I had an RV, I would definitely take it here. There are such lovely trails all over, a nice playground for the children, clean restroom facilities, not to mention the actual History Trail, which was amazing. If you've never been, you should go! The views of the lake were splendid, and everything was so pretty. We even saw a deer. ♥️ 🦌

First trip to our first Tennessee State Park. Stopped at the welcome center and learned much information about the park, and other parks. Very friendly and welcoming. We walked the paved paths on our first visit...camping, fishing and boating is available in addition to the over 4.5 miles of hiking trails available. There is a playground and picnic tables near the welcome center. Looking forward to exploring more!

This park is a no-brainer if you're a nature lover. The trailers are great if you like a little exercise with your nature. There are bountiful deer to look at as well as birds and turtles. Great place for the family.

Came here last week for a hike and it did not disappoint! With 7 different trailers of varying lengths and difficulty, it’s a great place to come and try out! Will be back next weekend for another hike!

The trails are nice and this is an overall peaceful place for walks, camping, light hiking and peace and quiet away from the business we all get wrapped up in. We try to camp here once a year. I love the wildlife here too.

It's one of the top 5 on my list because the trails are well blazed and the amenities are great. Any monies that park received was well used for visitors center, restrooms, playground and trails. The RV camping is near trails and lake. They also offer Storybook trail for children that is the 2nd one I've seen so far in the park's I've visited. There's a few docks to stop and take pic's of Lake and the trails connect if wanting to hike further. So so many 🦌 everywhere plus plenty of bird sightings. Easy terrain you can do without heavy boots. Just a wonderful easy hike with friends and family. Enjoy. 🦌🐿🐦🐢🦃🐾

The park is a beautiful representation of how Tennessee looks and feels. The trails are easy to hike with beautiful scenic views of the waterway for any age to enjoy. The information given around the park is fascinating and informative. The park Rangers and staff are wonderfully nice and seem to care for the area as it is well maintained. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a relaxed, wonderful experience.

Bledsoe Creek is a small State Park, but it offers camping, hiking, boating, playground, and history. One of the trails is set up for children, educating them on the foliage and wildlife in the park. Some trails are paved, making them suitable for handicap access. Dogs are permitted on the trails. There are lots of benches making even a casual walk enjoyable. The longest trail is a combination of the Lakeside and High trails and is suitable for training for a 5K run. Its total length is about 3.1 miles. The park provides a safe environment for families since it is regularly patrolled by Rangers. Cell reception is strong enough to play music on my phone throughout the park.

The rangers and other staff are always so nice! Good hiking with a varied terrain. Watch out for little tree roots along the lake edge - they will trip you up! Great visitor center. Really like this park.

I've been hiking Bledsoe for 25 years. It is one of the best places to hike to maintain endurance without having to drive a long distance. Give their trails a try! Also very family friendly! Great staff, too!

Beautiful campground. Super friendly park rangers. Clean restrooms. Large campsites. A couple negatives: sign on restroom says showers cost $5, pay at office. Arriving early isn't a good here. You I'll have to wait at the boat launch til your site is clean. Despite those two things, it's still a great place to camp!

Ive been going to The Mint casino, Franklin, TN for a year now. I love this casino’s atmosphere but I have been in there almost every weekend playing high bets and have not won any good money! The most I’ve won was $1,875 and Ive spent THOUSANDs of dollars in this place. I have a membership/rewards card and I’ve been Gold, platinum, Diamond 3 times! Have never won a Major or jackpot. The payouts are ridiculous! You have to keep feeding the Machine for free spins to still not win any good money. I thought casinos would keep up with their members and reward those that consistently come back because it is a business! They have to do better with people who’s in there playing all the time for the love of just being at their casino. We are the people that consistently come back! Unfortunately for them I’m not going back. They made too much money off me for small payouts. ✌🏾

The Mint is always fun, clean, and safe. I go late morning, every 6 weeks or so. Yesterday I had $5 in free slot play, and hit the Lucky Leprechaun for $50.60 just playing minimum bet, then hit it again for $35.25. No wonder it's always occupied and couples "tag team it" so no one can get on it! Moved to my other favorite machine near the restrooms (big white tiger on front display), put in 2 $5 bills, got a bonus round, hit it for $55.70. Not bad for an hour of fun! They have a lot of fun perks for slot club members, not crowded weekdays. There were bonus round bells going off all around me. I hear the birthday perks are also great - a friend got $200 cash + $75 free slot play, then hit a PacMan machine for $240!!

We were just traveling through and we saw a billboard and we thought we would stop. It seems like a pretty new place. Was very clean it wasn't too smoky, but it was early on a Sunday when we were traveling and maybe all the smokers weren't there yet. They did have a non-smoking area up on the second floor, but it was very small and very few games. My husband and I being non-smokers, my husband an ex-smoker we really would like to see casinos really expand their non-smoking areas.

We arrived late to town during business travel. This was pretty much the only place open serving drinks and dinner. The happy place we found was down by the DJ. Dancing is fun whether you are winning or losing.

I love the atmosphere and ease of the games. I just need to be more careful with the bets. Not every game is the same minimum bet. However, it's still a great place to visit, and don't forget to join the players club! I love the promotions they have going on. Bingo is upstiars. The friendliness of the game was so refreshing. Plenty of time to dab your cards, and they have electronic bingo! Will be trying that out next time. If you get hungry, the cafe has a great burger! The Mint Cheeseburger and the Mushroom Swiss burger are super good and decently prices. I haven't gone to the Iron Steakhouse as that is way above my budget. However, i hear good things.

Worst dining experience ever! If the steak house closes at 9pm offer quick options. Waiting in line for 40 minutes. Every table was dirty & had dishes on it. Waited for food for over an hour… when on floor impossible to find a waitress to take drink order. Don’t waste your time go to Oak Grove excellent cafe & self Serve soft drinks, coffee @ water!

Had a great time. Started with $20 Lost $16.. began slots again with $4 won $70..

To be honest I want to give it one star because I never ever win here but I'm not really that petty LOL. The reason I gave it four stars though is because I'm a semi truck driver and there's no parking for us at all so you have to walk about a mile from the truck stop to get to it. Just a warning it is a smoking casino for all you non-smokers there is a non-smoking area but but it still travels. Whenever I visit there under construction so it looked like half their parking lot was under construction too so not a whole lot of parking but they're still a good amount the casino was clean itself and it looked like they were walking around sterilizing machines so it seems safe enough.

Great place to go when you are ready to lose money. Disclaimer, casinos aren't in the business to lose money. If you are feeling lucky, the place is filled with a great amount of slot machines that have different ranges for betting. This place allows smoking inside and high limit area. There is a full bar inside as well a great food dinning area. The players club staff was friendly and helpful. The cashier's also was very polite. Highly recommend going all positive experiences that is not based on wins or loses.

The Mint Gaming Hall in Franklin, KY is a great experience and a lot of fun. The staff are wonderful and the place is very clean. They aren't just a place to just play slots, they also celebrate people's birthdays, they do giveaways like every hour, and they send offers and free play to you in the mail as an incentive to keep coming back and to let you know they appreciate the people that come out and play. So in reality even if you don't win while you're there playing slots, you're still a winner by everything they just give you for being a free club member. So thank you for everything you do and keep up the good work🙂

Came here to see what a $20 bill turned into. Lost my bill. The place smelled like a mixture of bleach and cigarette smoke. Beer was nice and cold. Bartender was friendly and knowledgeable. Looks like a new restaurant was recently added. We didn’t have time to eat there but I had to at least take a peek. The menu looks originally and includes food you won’t find anywhere else in this area. Check it out!

We have been going to this casino every week for the last year and a half and found it absolutely a lot of fun. It's always clean and everyone is so nice. However, in the last month they've changed the machines and now it seems that they are not paying like they used to. That's a little disheartening though we're not going to give up but we talked about giving it another month to see if it's any better. Coming up here was really a fun part of our lives. We didn't win all the time. We didn't lose either but it was the challenge of each time we went Now. Not so much. The new machines seem to take the fun away.

No 4 card KENO, which I like. Surprised by the smoking - all Ohio casinos are non-smoking. Just gaming - no tables here. Plenty of parking.

My first time at the THE MINT WAS NICE. It's located between Nashville. TN and Bowling Green Ky. I stopped by there on Superbowl Sunday and made it in time for the OT. It was Awesome. TVs were all the way around the bar. I noticed other rooms but really didn't have time. I was able to play some slot machines that are push buttons nowadays. I'm used to going to Derby City Gaming and Hotel in Louisville Kentucky. Not far from the airport. But I did enjoy the The Mint. Worth checking out if you're in the area. They (The MINT) close early.

Great staff, always well dressed and will strike up a conversation at a moments notice. Made me feel at home. Clean. Well kept gaming halls with a diverse number of slots to keep the entertainment non-stop.

Great place to go and unwind from the everyday grind. Only problem is they NEVER have enough drink servers on the floor. And if you're lucky enough to get one it takes sometimes up to an hour to get your drink. But the ones that they do have are always very friendly and courteous. They also have some great new games.

It's a nice looking place. However it may have the absolute most tight machines I ve ever experienced, also the selection of said machines is slim picking. Same machines over and over. Been there 3 different times same results. Stay away unless you like giving money away..

Absolutely love their variety of slots! However maybe it's cuz I'm new to the whole big Casino scene how but it just didn't seem like it paid out enough for me especially not when I can just go to Baxter from Cookeville and when at least my money back nearly every time if not double it why go nearly 2 hours away from home when I can just go 10 minutes away? It's a beautiful place wish there was more kiosk and space though seems like the line just to go to the kiosk to do the promo play took nearly an hour

Pulling in the parking lot we had no idea what to expect. After entering the gift shop to buy spots on the tour, we found a wonderful place for souvenirs. The staff was super friendly and gave us all the information we needed to start our adventure. Walking down to the cave is a beautiful Scenic route. 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️🚶Once we reach the end of the path and saw the cave, we were pleasantly surprised at its splendor. 🤩 Our guide was full of energy and made us laugh many times during the boat ride. I recommend you don’t forget to fit this itinerary on your next vacation. 😁

A very short experience in the cave itself. The surrounding area is beautiful and well maintained. Plenty of parking and staff to assist. The gift shop is on the pricey side but has all kinds of options for everyone.

If you love being surrounded by the wonders of God's creation then I highly recommend the nature trail here. With beautiful scenery and interesting facts about the Lost River along the way it is sure to please any nature lover. I have yet to take the underground boat tour but I'm sure I won't be disappointed when I finally do. The gift shop has unique and beautiful items for sale and the employees are very friendly. My grandchildren enjoyed the rock mining and the Lost River spring more than anything. I could go here every day and discover something new.

We've been through numerous caves, and although this one does not have the massive stalactites and stalagmites (which they explain about during the tour), it was a very interesting cave and I loved hearing about all of the history surrounding the cave and the area. Our guide, Jayden, was both personable and knew what he was talking about. I wish I had known ahead of time about all of the trails in the area as well because I would have planned to have more time before or after our tour to explore the area some more. I am very glad that we decided to do this. The walk down to the cave was intermixed with things to see and stories to hear, so it wasn't too fast for anyone in the group and our overall group ranged from somewhere 6 months to somewhere upward of 60. You walked back on your own and at your own pace for the uphill part, and it really wasn't bad. There is a gravel parking lot at the very back of the property that will knock about 10 minutes off of the return walk if you are worried about the total distance. One woman had her son go and get their car for her. Nice short distance, so very easy to drop one person at the front desk to check-in, then drive those worried about the walk to the back of the parking lot and park there. The only warning I would have for people with balance or knee type problems is that the two steps down into the boat can be a bit hard to manage since there isn't anywhere really good to hold onto. The guide was holding the boat steady, so he wasn't able to help much. Even though I was headed to the left side of the boat to be seated, I walked in on the right side and used the rail on shore to hold onto, then moved over to my side.

We had so much fun on our visit to Lost River Cave. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Nashville. This was our sons favorite part of vacation. It is just a short 45 minute drive from Nashville and well worth it. I purchased our tickets online and there are a few benefits of that. I was able to get a discount on the kids mining buckets which they loved! And you also receive a coupon for the gift shop. The tour guides do an amazing job and know a lot of history about the cave and area which I enjoyed. Really all the staff from the gift shop to the guides are super friendly and helpful. If you are visiting when it is cooler be sure to bring a jacket you do have to walk outside some and will want a jacket. Just a note our kids are 9 and 2.5 and it was perfect for them. I was unsure if our daughter would enjoy it or be entertained long enough to sit still for the tour but she did fine. I highly recommend the mining bags or buckets kiddos get to pan for treasure (gemstones shark teeth and geodes) outside of the gift shop and ours loved that experienced.

This cave was beautiful! I enjoyed learning facts about the place from our tour guide. You can also rent the area for a wedding! It was really pretty and very neat to ride the boat through the cave, my son loved it. Also I think its less than a 20 minute walk to the cave or for the start of the cave tour. They are kid/baby friendly as we took a 9 year old and a 9 month old on the tour. The gift shop had lots of cute knickknacks too! We didnt have a wait to buy the tickets but we had about a 20 minute wait from time we purchased tickets until our tour actually began, which was totally fine with us as there was plenty to see to occupy our time.

2nd time here. 1st time seeing the butterfly exhibit. I love that they did it, but dislike that people touch them too much. The boat cave tour was amazing. Hannah was a great guide (5/28/23). Loved hearing the history of this place. Please go out and support this amazing little wonder!

This tour was good, not great, but a nice stop if you have extra time near Mammoth Cave. This was the only truly wet cave we ventured to. It was a nice albeit short boat ride through the cave. Our tour guide Emma-Claire was so passionate and informative. You could tell she was interested in what she was talking about, and did a great job of inserting humor in with the history. The cave is very pretty and the gift shop has a good selection of trinkets and handmade goods from local artisans. This wouldn’t be a tour I would repeat, and think the price doesn’t necessarily match the length and overall experience, but still glad we experienced it.

Just got done with the boat tour and loved it. What a unique experience! Our group had a toddler and it was great—they had kid-sized life vests (required for those under 13). This seems pretty doable for different activity levels, with these two things in mind: 1) there is a bit of a walk to get to the start, so give yourself extra time, 2) at one point on the boat you have to duck pretty far down so as not to hit your head. Staff was really knowledgeable and friendly. Nice visitor center and bathrooms. Other activities available and spaces for picnics—could spend several hours here. This is run by a nonprofit. Would totally recommend to others and go again!

Such a cool experience! The short walk back up the hill is worth it! Our guide was so knowledgeable and had great dad jokes! The cave is beautiful. Was hoping it was bigger but hey its a cave! Was so interesting learning all the history and with that was put into this. Definitely worth the stop! Oh and the gift shop has so many good tourist stuff!

We took the boat tour very informative guide great visuals and very educational. Also in the park is a it's a 2 mile walking trail that could that currently has many scarecrows for the Halloween season a lot of fun for the kids and adults as well. The cave entrance can be rented out for events the day we were there it was set up for a wedding with crystal chandelier

Tour guide is very passionate and knowledgeable about the cave and knows how to deliver information to audiences with different ages. It was fun listening to all the information he gave to the tour group. Lots of interaction between the tourist and the guide, pointing out formations of the rock, and ducking our heads down to squeeze in through the cave made up the entire experience The whole tour was very exciting, and memorable experience. I did not know that Kentucky was full of cave until I got here and learned about it. Highly recommend to come check this place out! Family-friendly! I don’t know how often the tickets sell out, but you can book it online or in person!

Absolutely loved it! We had Becky as our tour guide and she did a great job with commentary and history. It’s not a super long tour so you can talk smaller children on it (there are life vests and the water is only around 4 feet deep). Would definitely recommend.

This place is really relaxing and calming. I love coming here when I am in Kentucky. They have a great gift shop and very friendly staff. The grounds are beautiful, there is hiking trails and a butterfly garden that is fun to see. It is a good place to get out in nature. I love seeing the creeks and hearing the water. The tour is short but I enjoyed the boat ride. You don't go that deep into the cavern but I would definitely recommend coming here. It is beautiful.

Definitely book this tour! We were searching for a cave tour that is easily accessible as we had two with us that had small mobility issues that could not do much of the hiking which would be involved with the other cave tours around. They both made it up and down to the entrance with ease. Our tour guide was fantastic, knowledgeable and made the adventure enjoyable! The boat tour itself is gorgeous.

Lost River Cave is phenomenal! I had my wedding here over the weekend and I got so many compliments! The staff were so helpful and professional. Their get ready building was so helpful! I got to hang out with my girls and hook my phone up for music! I strongly recommend this venue for weddings! 10/10! We also did the tour and that was so much fun! We encouraged everyone from our guests list to go before the wedding as well!

We came for spring break, and the boat ride through a cave is one of the things our kids were the most excited about. It was their favorite cave tour. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about our experience here. The hiking trails were perfect for our youngest child’s little legs, and well maintained. The boat tour was a lot of fun, and a different experience than the other caves we toured. Something I saw earlier in the week at their gift shop was gone, and they were able to go into their storage area and get exactly what I wanted. It made my day because I came back to the gift shop a few days later specifically hoping that item was still there. Would recommend to anyone!

What a neat experience! It was quite unique. We had an entertaining tour guide who shared a lot of stories about the cave and area. The actual time on the boat in the cave was shorter than I was hoping, and you don’t travel very far. Other than that it was fun. I wouldn’t go a second time but I’m glad I did it once.

Great tour to check out the caves. We purchased tickets ahead of time, and the tour was right on schedule. The time in the boat on the water was only prob about 10 min, but it was cool to be down there. If you're in the area, I would recommend adding it to your list of things to do.

The cave tour was sold out the day we visited. Decided to do the walking trails and they did not disappoint! Very scenic, loved the blue holes!

Outstanding educational, historical, and nature filled experience. Fletcher is an excellent tour guide and very patient w kids. Get tix in advance. Come early or stay late to enjoy the nature trails. Really nice gift shop too. Nonprofit supports continued cleaning and preservation of cave. Come support this mission driven haven!

This was a different cave experience than what we are used to since this one is in a boat. It isn't a long boat tour but it is interesting. The grounds are very nice and the staff is nice and friendly. Our tour guide was fun. They also have ziplines, a butterfly sanctuary, and nature trails. There is also a very nice gift shop. This is one tour that you probably wouldn't repeat, but it is definitely worth visiting.

I’m so glad we decided to come here! Everyone in the gift shop was super friendly. Brad was our tour guide and he was very knowledgeable and he was kind to all the kids with questions on our tour.

I like this place but I honestly expected more from it. They have a small pool and splash park area for babies and toddlers which is really fun. Their wave pool, lazy River, and splash park for bigger kids is always a good time and keeps everyone cool and happy. Food is decent but the lines can get ridiculously long. There aren’t enough rides for small children but it is a good time if you have older kids. The workers there for the most part though are awful. Terrible attitudes, obviously don’t want to do their jobs, and some of the ride operators seem really young to be doing their job or seem like it isn’t a priority. It’s also very expensive so just be prepared.

Great family fun day! Plenty to do for all ages. Great restroom access, free sunscreen, parking and tubes. Souvenir cups only have $1 refills and can be used the entire season not just the day.

Took my girls for a small getaway. We had a blast! The kids loved everything! We were a little short for one or two rides. But that just makes us want to go back next year. The magic show was great. My little one got to go on stage. She loved it! Rides are great! The haunted house ride to us is our favorite. 10 plus times of riding it. It had been years since I had been. Loved everything about it!

Beech Bend isn't a bad park, but it's definitely fallen off from when I considered it a five-star local park. Let's start with the rides. Beech Bend is mostly populated by a large variety of carnival style flat rides, ranging from a swinging ship, to a classic tilt o whirl, to the newer Vortex and drop tower rides. There are three notable coasters - a very rough wood coaster, the Kentucky Rumbler, which has gotten considerably more rough in the last few years despite an excellent layout, a steel spinning wild mouse coaster, and a spinning kiddie coaster. Not bad, not great. Given some maintenance and retooling, the Rumbler might become a great coaster again. There are a great selection of water slides if that's your thing. Now for amenities. Parking is free. Drinks were free in years past, but are now $3.50 for a 20 ounce drink (very disappointing). A burger runs 6.50, chicken strips and fries 10. Beech Bend Hall, which was previously a decently well supplied arcade, is now empty but for five claw machines and three carnival games. Ironic given that the walls still have skee-ball and arcade signs. There are few places to cool down besides the water park, and little shade. I cannot recommend Beech Bend during the heat of the summer for those reasons. If unlimited free sodas return, then we'll talk.

Been to quite a few drag strip in the NE and this one (albeit more "central") is by far the best. Washroom situation (from last year) is solved, clean up is quick & efficient. Staff are courteous and conditions are great.

Went a while back (prior to COVID-19) and loved it. It’s a nice place. Rides didn’t have long wait times. It was very clean. Not too crowded. This park deserves more love and I plan on returning this summer. Such an under rated and under appreciated little amusement park. Would totally recommend.

The park is clean and a great size. Big enough for the entire family to enjoy but not *too* big to where you have to worry much about your kid getting lost. Nice size lazy river that connects to the wave pool and adult beverages are available, which is sometimes nice. Good variety of water slides and amusement park rides!

Street Outlaws NPK 2023 was awesome. Parking for the VIP ticket holders was less than acceptable. The access to the pits and starting line was a great experience, but seating was a nightmare. All in all.....we had a good time and will be back in the future.

This is the perfect place to bring teens that just want to hang out together and ride some rides and eat some junk food. It's also great for families with young children as nothing is very spaced out. It is a smaller amusement park, but don't let that be a deterrent. My son and his friend had an absolute blast here.

We won tickets and got to experience this fun little place. It's like a carnival and a few big water slides. We went during the week... so not many people, that was nice!

We loved visiting here and was very impressed on how clean and kept up!! Kids loved the water park lots to do and it’s great for smaller kids.

This is like a big county fair meets a community splash/water park. They have a drag strip and camping too but we came for the park for our 3.5 year old. He loved it. The go karts werent running when we were there and the haunted house is probably PG17 at best. I went in it alone to scope it out. I wouldnt recommend it to young kids or those afraid of surprise shots. Regular tickets are $49.95 but we got discount from our local radio station.

The physical space in the park is okay, but only okay. There are a couple of roller coasters, but other than that, it's all state fair style rides that you can find anywhere. The staff are neither friendly nor particularly helpful. My biggest issue, though, is the fat shaming. They literally weigh you before they will let you get on the water slide, and if that weren't bad enough, they don't do it until after you've waited in line and climbed a bunch of stairs, meaning that if they decide you don't fit their perfect little mold, you then have to walk all the way back down the stairs, against the line, and process how you've just wasted a whole bunch of time waiting in line only to be humiliated and fat-shamed when you got to the end. I read the other reviews, so I already know that every time they get called out about this, they make excuses about how the manufacturer set the weight limit, but they're the ones who chose where to place the scale, and they're the ones who chose to buy a water slide with a weight limit in the first place. It is totally unacceptable and not that hard to fix. Do better, Beech Bend.

We look forward to the GS Nationals every year. This is the family you weren't born into. But I absolutely love the Heck out of them all.

This place is beautiful. We didn't get to see the private collection, and I wish they had some sign at the check-in desk that have the hours of when they are open. Also the cafe was closed (closes at 3p) when we went and I was looking forward to doing that too but they weren't open. The Museum has a wonderful collection of corvettes over the years. They deliver their timeline beautifully. TCM also shows their entire sinkhole collection and history of everything. They have a special room. It's magnificent to see. You really feel the energy from that day in there. It's displeasing to say the least. But, wonderfully put together. There are lots of photos of the different era cars on the Google page, however, I clicked the snap button on my favorites. I did check out the brick engraving and that's $125 to do that, but gets shared after a while due to weather. However, they do have nice octagon shaped bricks inside and those are $250 for non members and $200 for members. This would make for a better option if you would like your legacy to live on for years to come.

The experience was a great learning experience for the history of the corvette. Well worth the stop for car enthusiasts. My kids enjoyed some of the interactive exhibits. The corvette collection is fantastic. So many I would love to own. Also the sink hole exhibit was interesting and educational. The children did the simulator and both were frustrated with the steering of it but both were glad they had done it. Probably just a one time event for me..

Great private tour. Well informed docent. Excellent exhibits put together in a highly understandable fashion. The cars on display were of high quality and possessed distinctive pedigrees. I’m so glad that we took the time to tour this facility.

This place has a little something for everyone to enjoy! My husband and teenage son loved the cars from top to bottom and from the inside out! The younger kids loved designing their own car and seeing it displayed on the big screen! The girls particularly liked the different scenes of cars displayed during their various eras. The sink hole has its own special displays, which was fascinating for everyone! We were tight on time, but we’ll be back!

You don't have to be a Corvette nut to absolutely love this place, but it helps to love cars!! A superb museum with everything you need to see and know about Corvettes. The main lobby is also the delivery area for people to collect their new cars, so you get to see the absolute latest cars too. There's also a great exhibit about a sink hole that swallowed a load of cars from their collection... very interesting.

Great experience, learning opportunity, and eloping history of one incredible design of an automobile. Gorgeous vehicles displayed elegantly with a good flow of exhibit. Shop is also very well equipped with unique gifts and brand items. Go see for yourself.

I grew up in a Corvette family, so this was a must to stop and see. It just happened to be on our way home from vacation. We added a night in Bowling Green to be able to see this and Mammoth Cave. The history is fantastic and the cars are oh my!! Both new and old, fantastic! If you love cars or Corvettes, then you need to stop here! I did purchase my tickets online ahead of time. They do say they are food for 1 year from the purchase date as long as it is not a combo ticket. We went on a Monday morning and it wasn't super busy yet.

This place is awesome. What a treat to visit this museum. They have a lot to offer. A lot of beautiful,rare cars are on display for your viewing pleasure. The sinkhole was an incredible event that took place here a few years ago. It's all fixed now and you can visit worry free.

3.9.24 Our final stop before heading back to Michigan! Guess you could say we saved the best for last. The museum was super cool and has so much to see. There’s also go karting available at the tracks, but we didn’t do it since it was cold and rainy. Definitely do if you get the chance though! And the little restaurant inside is AMAZING.

Wow!!! This place is amazing! What a great job of preserving and presenting the history of the Corvette. The displays are immaculate. The entire museum is very well lit and all the signage is easy to read. I did not know that they had a cave collapse that wrecked eight cars. I couldn't stay as long as I wanted, but I'll be back SOON!!

Very cool and informative tour of the factory. No phones, cameras or recording devices allowed. We also toured the museum and saw the sink hole area. That hole is crazy deep. My favorite Corvette paint job was the shark. Went i the gift store and surprised by how reasonable the merchandise was. Gene was great, hell, they all were great and informative.

What a great place for my corvette loving teen. The exhibits are top notch, easy to access and interesting. Easy to walk through. Wheelchair accessible. Very cool place. Get the simulator ride for 10 dollars worth it. There is a bit of a wait for that when busy waited 30 min. Eat the the Stingray Cafe. Chicken and waffles 🧇 😋 stingray burger 🍔 victory burger a1 z1 burger yum . Bourbon cake 🎂

Visited 7/23/23 nice museum. Cost to much money to enter. $18 adults & 14 & under is free. Many different vets to druel over the old & new. They did great with the history

Really enjoyed our visit. We also did the plant tour, which made the trip more than worth it. The museum was very cool with lots of unique Corvettes to see. It doesn't take too long to see everything, though. The restaurant was also quite nice.

Definitely one to mark off the bucket list for people who love to travel and learn. They have made several updates since the last time I came. I loved that they added stuff for the younger kids. Definitely will be back!

Good museum and not just for fans or owners. A bit pricey for what you see but it’s inline with similar museums. Make sure to really say you want a plant tour and check your receipt. We got booked a museum tour instead. They made it right but we had to come back another day.

You need to go visit this place if you like cars. We decided to add the guided tour to our ticket. We thought it would add more to the experience. Wow, were we correct. Our tour guide, Jackson, was amazing. Although he was young (19 to 21, we guessed), he knew so much about the history and construction of the Corvette. Jackson worked on the assembly line, as did his father and grandfather. You could tell his love of the Corvette. With 3 generations of knowledge, Jackson was able to bring in personal stories to the tour, not just dry facts. We loved every minute of our tour. The museum is extremely interesting. They have Corvettes from 1953 to today. The displays are well thought out and the descriptions well written. It isn't just a bunch of cars lined up like a car show.

Had a great visit to the Museum. Glad to see that they were open on Sunday and went with my 2 sons. The place is very well kept and modern. They had a restaurant, library and archive (not open), gift store, stimulator and of course the main museum. We loved the Education center and all the interactive activities within. It kept my 8 and 4 year old entertained and excited. The 'shrine' to the cave-in was awesome and informative. I do wish they left a bit more of the cave-in exposed but probably couldn't for safety reasons. All this along with the awesome, historic Corvettes made it a trip to remember. We plan on returning.

Loved it here. Lots of information and history. Great exhibit including the sinkhole incident exhibit. Little section with interactive kids to draw their own corvette to get shown on big screen and other interactive displays

Really enjoyed the museum. We arrived later in the day (after 2pm), but still managed to make it through before 5pm. Definitely a notch off my Bucket list!

The family and I had a fantastic time at the National Corvette Museum! We drove the Cprvette simulator and designed our very own vettes!! So cool! The cars were amazing the there was so much his history. We will definitely be backbat at some point.

Great place to visit for car lovers and just a hour north of Nashville. Interesting collection and history, plus a look down at the sink hole that swallowed millions of $ in vehicles a few years ago. Even got to see some buyers take delivery of their new cars. Affordable

My boyfriend and I went to visit for the first time on his birthday weekend. We had a really great time. We loved the seeing the authenticity and beauty in the cars and learning about them and the people that made them. We were a little disappointed that when we went some of it was closed off because of renovations. But we still had an awesome experience and cannot wait to bring our kids!

One of my favorite places on earth! We enjoyed the factory tour beforehand which was somehow even more impressive than the museum. Give yourself a few hours to really enjoy every bit of this extensive collection.

The owners here are the best! My husband and I stopped to look at the car collection, and we were not disappointed! The cars are pristine and such beauties each with their own personality. I highly recommend stopping. You'll be glad you did.

Beyond beautiful collection of cars. Being from Detroit and seeing all the packards makes me wish I was alive back in the days to see the city in it's prime. So many all original cars in this collection. If you're looking for beefed up muscle cars he has a few but if you're looking for some classic cars that are beyond beautiful this is the place. And it's free too. Highly recommend stepping back in time and take the time to see how far cars have come. Unreal !!!

We were unsure whether we had time to stop during our road trip. The free admission actually had us worried the 25 minute detour was not going to be warranted. However... this place was amazing. There are a lot more vehicles than expected and all are beautifully kept. The folks working the museum shared personal stories about each car, answered questions and even opened up the cars to show us more features. This stop is well worth it! They even have restrooms available. We spent just over an hour there before returning to our road trip. Bravo to these fine folks for sharing this collection with the community.

Beautiful! If you have time to stop, we highly recommend looking. You could pop in for a few minutes or spend an hour reading all the information related to each car.

Quick and easy stop in Elizabethtown if you want to explore some historic automobiles from 1910 to the late 60’s and beyond. Quite the collection, free of charge, make sure you sign the guest book when you visit. I was ordered by my cousin to give this review 4.8 stars, because he saw no Lincolns, all joking aside, great collection with some awesome history.

Lots of beautiful cars and it's free! The woman there knew everything about each car. Very knowledgeable, and offered to give us a guided tour but we turned her down because she had just started her lunch. After she finished she gave us all her attention. Could have spent a lot longer there, but had other plans. We will stop back.

Randomly stopped into this car museum (Free!) on a road trip with my tween boys and they loved it! The woman there was as so friendly and knowledgeable, and she asked the boys if they wanted any of the hoods opened to see the engines. What a special hidden gem!

On a family road trip and we stopped by. It was great! You have cars from the early 1900's through the 60s. There's a lot of information on each of the cars and you can even request a tour. My 11 & 6 year olds really enjoyed it, and it's free. Doesn't get any better than that. Definitely recommend stopping by.

If you are into cars and want to learn how and why we have abs enjoy some of the things we do now… you’ll definitely put this Museum on your to do list! SO GOOD! This is a definite must see even if you're not a car person it's free so why not stop in you will not be disappointed and afterwards you may be a car person. I don't consider myself a car person but I have an appreciation for nostalgic things and this car collection is amazing. It has some things in there that you don't typically see. I really appreciate the family keeping this going since Bill has passed away.

Wasn't open but me and my father love historic landmarks and old cemeteries. Being born and raised Hoosiers seeing the 1st Capital was neat.

The historic site itself is composed of more than the old Statehouse. Go to the visitor's bureau or the "carriage house" across the street and you'll be set up for a tour which are begun at the top of the hour. The first stop is the Governor's Headquarters, the residence of the second elected governor, William Hendricks. The home itself is in very good condition and is filled with period furnishings - some of which were actually Hendricks' personal possessions. Next, you'll walk across the street and down the block a few hundred feet where you will be handed off to a different guide for the tour of the first Statehouse itself. The Statehouse is an amazingly small, but well-constructed limestone building. This structure served the Indiana House, Senate and Supreme Court (their courtroom is tiny!). I take one star away because the tour guides seem to be your local government types - someone's child or nephew or niece who aren't really suited to the job. The first guide seemed generally knowledgeable, but unenthusiastic about his job while the second clearly wasn't prepared - I noticed she had written notes on the palms of her hands and pads of fingers in ink! But, the town is absolutely charming, the sites are very interesting for history buffs and one should expect to visit for 1-2 hours including just walking around the town square. The site has street parking (not a problem on most days) and is easily accessible from I-64. Combine with a visit to the Falls Of The Ohio Park and Interpretive Center in nearby Jeffersonville (across the Ohio from Louisville, KY) or to Obannon State Park with views of the mighty Ohio River and a pioneer village and you've got a nice couple days in south-east Indiana!

Very interesting and information on our history. Lot of nice shops mixed in with the normal stores in a downtown area. Butt Drugs is a must to see along with the historical capital building.

Our tour included the original Capitol building as well as the headquarters/residence of a major governor. Tours begin in the State Museum office located in the white carriage house next to Gov HQ.

It’s our second time visiting Willett, and we enjoyed both visits. Last time was during Covid, and The Bar was not open. This time we had lunch at The Bar, and it was a nice experience. Remember to make reservations in advance, or you probably won’t get seated since it very busy, a popular place. Both the food and cocktails were delicious. We did the whiskey tasting last time, and it was great, and that’s how we discovered Johnny Drum, a great choice for making Old Fashioned. Don’t miss the souvenir store. By the way, there is an adorable cat on the property. We saw it each time we visited.

Our tour guide, Ila, was knowledgeable and funny. She really seems to enjoy sharing her knowledge of Willett and the family history behind the bourbon. The tastings along the tour were wonderful! This was mine and my husband’s first distillery tour for our wedding anniversary and Willett definitely set the bar high for us. We will be back to visit again!

Go, simply go. It's the best distillery tour and tasting I've been to. The tour is informative and it has bourbon throughout. The bar has great food as well, it's appetizer style, but delicious. Last and most importantly, the single barrel "Purple top" bourbons in the bar. They are unlike anything I tasted in the rest of distilleries They are expensive, but it's the quality and flavor that the entire rest of the industry should be pouring on their tours. It's not even close, Willet wins by a mile.

The staff was amazingly kind and friendly. They took time to talk about the distillery, the bourbon, and even their own experiences. The grounds are beautiful. And I can imagine a better day to enjoy it. What was going to be a quick stop, lasted for a couple hours as we took it all in.

One of our stops along the bourbon trail. We didn’t do a tour but stopped for a flight. The grounds are beautiful, and welcoming and the people are friendly. While many of their offerings aren’t favorites of mine many seem to really enjoy them, just a different palette than mine. Absolutely worth the stop for a pour.

Great tour! The tastings are spread throughout the tour rather than being stacked together at the end. Mason, our guide, was knowledgable, bright and cheerful. Even after the tour he visited individually with his members as they browsed the gift shop. Knowledgeable host, beautiful distillery, excellent bourbons and now I know why!

The Willette tour is among the best ever by today's standards (very much like the old days at Wild Turkey, Barton 1792, etc where you really toured the place!) and our guide, Bianca, was outstanding. They started the tour with a tasting and had several more along the way with two different offerings at each place, and again at the end. Cheers!

We didn't get to take the tour, but stopped in for the restaurant and gift shop. Beautiful grounds. Super friendly serving staff. The food (small plates and dessert) was tremendous. Great cocktails. Can't wait to take a tour next time we are nearby.

Beautiful distillery. Our tour guide Shannon, was outstanding. She was pleasant and knowledgeable. The food in the restaurant was excellent albeit slightly overpriced for the portions. Now for the bad. I really wanted to love this distillery. Unfortunately, the experience was ruined at the outset by an extremely rude and unprofessional front desk worker that actually told me the person she was speaking to on the phone was “more important” than me after I waited patiently for her to get off the phone and check me in for the tour. The whiskey is way overpriced and average at best. Charging upwards of $90 per oz at the distillery to taste their special releases is ridiculous. I felt like I was at a bar on whiskey row rather than a famed distillery. Best word to describe the vibe here is pretentious. For a place to call itself a “Family” Estate, it is lacking the hospitality and friendliness of such an establishment. Really disappointed by this experience.

We highly recommend Willett as a tour destination. You can sample products at several stops during the tour. My wife and I were able to sample more different products than any other tour that we have taken. The grounds are beautiful and you can feel the passion that the staff has for their Bourbons, and Whiskeys.

Absolutely Beautiful campus, especially during our fall visit. Love the history, enjoy the product, friendly and knowledgeable staff and guide, love being able to get up close to the workings of the distillery and seeing workers actually present and working, and having our picture made with the working Pot Still. The cats are a treat as.well. Loved how they knew the routines and basically made themselves at home throughout the whole tour. Will definitely recommend Willet Distillery for anyone planning a Bourbon Trail experience.

What an experience!! You actually have tastings included in the tour as you experience the different facilities. Nick our tour guide was very knowledgeable and provided the best experience in Bardstown. Highly recommended to be on your Distillery visit in KY.

Of all the distilleries we did, this was our favorite. The grounds are gorgeous, their story fantastic, and the drinks great. We LOVED that the tasting was spread out at various locations on the tour. You get to see it ALL and the value is outstanding. We will come back and tour this again for sure. This is 100% worth your time.

My husband and I never visited a distillery before but this place was recommended by a friend. Our tour guide, Ila, was very personable and informative. Our tour guide Bianca was amazing! She was very informative, gave great history about the family and how Willet was started and how it still operates. She was friendly and loved her sense of humor. Tastings along the way were a hit with us, that is so different from the other tours we did. At the end Bianca asked if there was an anniversary which was ours and showed us lots of love and everyone got to try a high end purple top which was the absolute best! Later we had drinks and food upstairs which was by far the best we had anywhere! I would highly recommend the Willet tour!

We toured 5 distilleries — this was my favorite. Tastings spread out throughout the tour instead of all at once, smaller distillery with a commitment to quality and a family feel, a great bar, and great bourbon. Everyone is super friendly. Also, distillery cats are a plus!

We had SO much fun at this tour! We have visited a few places along the bourbon trail and this was by far our favorite. For the basic tour, we still got to try countless bourbons that this distillery makes, and were sent home with a nice glass from our tasting. Mason, our tour guide, was absolutely phenomenal. I will be bringing other family members back with me soon. PS: the "nope" signs are legendary, and also extremely helpful.

Shannon welcomed us at the door and then gave us one heck of a progressive tasting & tour of this little gem of a distillery. Small group, so we were able to spend a little more time and ask some more questions and get a little more info. It was cold the day of our tour so dress warm it was alot in n out and outside. The bourbon was delicious, the chocolate and bourbon cream were smooth. Worth your time.

So 4 stars cause half the games was down. Bumper boats not open 😑 batting cages waiting on parts not open. Mini gold courses very well kept. Volcano course is quite a challenge. Most games take 6 credits or more. $22 for 100 credits. The go kart track was awesome if it's nice out you are gonna be waiting for awhile tho. 1 ticket 1 lap. Can't use multiple tickets you get 1 lap and get back in line.

It was my daughter's first time on go car she really did love it. we had a good time also on the bumper boats. The only bad thing about this is i didn't know where to go to get tickets or anything until you walk around in the arcade. There's Nothing pointing you where to go to get started. Just walk around the arcade and you will find it it's kind of at the back. Prices are fair I'm thinking it was $6 for the go-cart one lap and $6 for the bumper boats for 5 minutes. My honest opinion is I wouldn't waste time on the bumper boats but if you have little kids this is great.

Family friendly, fun. Go carts, arcade, batting cages, bumper boats, and putt-putt golf. There was a food truck there bit didn't see what products they offered.

The whole family had a great time playing video games and skee ball inside. My oldest son and I had a blast on the go karts too! What an awesome track! Very long and curvy. Also, their is a fantastic selection of pinball machines!

Great place to bring your kids. There are plenty of things to do for a couple hours. We played the Volcano Putt Putt Course and then we took some swings in the batting cages. Batting cage speeds were 35/40/45/50/60/70. They threw pretty consistent. There is also an arcade with tons of games and their prize selection is way better than other arcades We will definitely be returning!

We drove an hour to get here, and this is the second time we came. We had a blast and the prices were reasonable. The staff was friendly and easy to talk to. My kids loved the go karts and they even had one that a large fellow like me could ride. We will definitely be back.

We loved this place!!!! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We purchased the 5 attractions for $27 which was the best deal. We rode the go Karts 3 times, the bumper boats and played the 18 hole mini golf. We played in the arcade afterwards. This was a great family friendly experience!

Took my neice to Kart County for her birthday party/celebration. It was fun for the whole family, we had a good time playing mini golf ⛳, riding go karts and playing all the games they had available. Good selection of games available and plenty of activities for everyone

Great place to make memories with the family! Fun attractions such as the 1.5 mile long go-kart course, mini golf and an indoor arcade. Would have been 5 stars but some of the arcade games were not working and a few took my credits when trying to get the game to start. It is an older place so expect some wear and tear on some of the machines but I feel it's the owner's responsibility to service their equipment when it comes time to repair them. Overall great place!

Kids had a blast. They did every attraction and played a ton of arcade games. Even the old games. They have a great selection. Even the audios got into it.

Great place to spend a couple hours with the kids. The lines for the tickets can get a little long, but that's expected. There's 2 courses for mini golf and the go kart has a pretty good long track. The go kart even has a system that keeps the line moving instead of waiting for everyone to get back at once.

There should be a way to load more money into.your player card that doesn't require you standing in the very long line. Even with two people behind the desk, the line was still super long. We left after we ran out of money on the card because we didn't want to spend 30+ minutes waiting in line. A few of the gocarts didn't run right and had a slight miss or would cut out for a second. The mini golf was cool except for one hole that your ball would get stuck in because there wasn't enough water pressure to push it.

Had absolutely wonderful time! Go karts, bumper boats, mini golf and arcade games it was all fun! The only disappointing thing was the snack bar was closed. Staff said it was only open on the weekends 😕What? It's summer time! Kids are out of school. My kids alone would've bought $20 worth of ice cream and slushies. I get that decision if school is in session but this is such a no brainer for the summer. I would have left 5 stars but i just couldn't.

Great experience. Versus the indoor competition elsewhere. Would highly suggest bringing in your own safety glasses , there will be debris flying from nature and from off the track. The dirt could be avoided if the track was swept before opening. The safety team on the carts are also on point. They will attend to your needs if the go kart fails while on the track.

This is where it goes down. The place to be. It’s remarkable how beautiful this place is. We took a short shelf guided tour. It was a lot of information. I believe the longer tour would offer behind the scene type thing. Nevertheless we enjoyed the history of the iconic place. The gift shop is nice. Parking is plentiful and the staff is friendly and energetic.

This where all the action happens for The Kentucky Derby. Lots of interesting historical trivia about the horses that ran in past races. Beautifully kept grounds and stalls..a great tour and we stopped for a Mint Julep at the end our tour (this was on our own). Off Season they are reasonably priced at their bar/cafe. It was a very tasty cocktail. They have a gift shop on site next to the cafe with all types of Churchill Downs Memorabilia.

One of the coolest things I've ever done! If you have the chance, visit Churchill Downs. It's an experience you'll never forget! When we visited, they had a bunch of food trucks in the vicinity. It was neat because you could walk around to a couple of food trucks, purchase some drinks, dance to the live music, and then go watch the horse races. We just sat in a general admission area which worked out perfect because we were there during the week when it wasn't crazy busy. Overall, we had an absolute blast!

This place was so Beautiful! Just traveling thur, knee problem. Enjoyed taking pics of statue of Secretaries! I seen the movie a long time ago. The place was so awesome to see! I know the museum was open. But I remember hearing on news horses were moved because a horse died. It was under evistgation. What I seen was still a very beautiful place! Enjoy it!

First time visitor. Took the DOWNS/HERMITAGE FARMS tour which is a full day tour. Highly recommend! At Hermitage Farms our guide was a very knowledgeable young man Jacob who was filled with all the details of the operations of the Farm, including the horse stables, barn turned kitchen and event venue and the different gardens of mostly edibles that sustain their kitchen and uoscale restaurant on site.

Great way to spend the afternoon while in Louisville. Bring cash to bet . The food is just okay. Eat elsewhere if possible before or after. The drinks are actually pretty good. They make a pretty decent old-fashioned.

Never been to a race before, was a great thrill. Everyone had. Fun watching and cheering for the Horses. Love the history and the stadium food. Good day with friends, will definitely do this again.

Very interesting museum visit and short tour. The entry fee includes an immersive 18-minute video on a 360-degree screen with surround sound, all museum exhibits, and a 30-minute tour. There are rotating stools for viewing the video so you can easily spin and see everything. Our tour guide, Steve, was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Videos are shown at ten minutes past every hour with a ten minute intro on the hour. Tours begin on the half hour, and the guide picks you up in the theater, which is called The Great Hall. There is a nice gift shop with loads of merchandise and a cafe that can both be visited for free. The only issue we observed is that the parking lot is quite small, so leave extra time for arrival, as your reserved video and tour times are set.

Went to see horse races. Was a phenomenal experience. We got our tickets when we arrived which ended up costing us a third of the price. Has a parking lot concession stand for food drinks and a gift shop. You can smoke inside while watching the horse races. Once you enter you can't return. Races take place all day. Minimum bet for a horse race when we went was $50.

Great experience! This was my first visit. We took a tour of the city and this was one of our stops. Enjoyed seeing the horses race and exploring the grounds, which are very beautiful. The gift shop has a good variety of items, such as derby hats, shirts, magnets, and derby collector items.

If you get the chance take the Superstars and Spires tour. At ninety minutes it covers a lot. Our guide, Bob, was really good about sharing stories and historical insights about this great track. The tour takes you through all the grandstands and high end seating where the stars and celebrities enjoy the Derby. There is a museum to visit as well as a theatre to watch a movie about The Race, which is a must see. Visit the store for some swag and the cafe for a mint julip.

We went to the November live races and I would rate that a 5. We bought tickets to the millionaire’s row section which was great and included a buffet and all you can drink soda. The buffet was very disappointing. It went from 1 P.M. to 3:30 P.M. We got our food at 1:15 P.M. after the first race was done. The pasta was warm to cool in temperature, the chicken was dry. The dessert selection was very messy in presentation. That lowered our rating. Is that really how it is for the Kentucky Derby when people are paying $10,000 or more for tickets? Thank goodness ours were $61 each (includes entry to Churchill Downs).

I had such a wonderful, enjoyable day/experience here yesterday(Sunday, November 5th, 2023). I came with dear friends who are parents of a deceased army son. We attended the Military remembrance day for surviving families. 11 stares were represented. Such good food, a band, face painting, activities fir the children and so much more was provided at No cost to the families and their guests. The staff I talked to and got to know we're absolutely so friendly, caring and a joy to meet We had such a wonderful time. Thank you to your staff throughout the building and grounds. I will definitely come back!

Definitely recommend purchasing tickets for tour ahead of time and including the video and track tour. We had our tour at the end of the day so we didn’t get to enjoy the museum before the tour. Plan for more time on the front or backend to be able to wander through the museum.

We went to Opening Night 2024 at Churchill Downs. It was a great night. I enjoyed the night racing. However,they need to improve on their food concessions. We spent $65 for 2 burgers,bratwurst, and sprite. There was no lettuce,tomatoes on burgers. We couldn't get mustard or ketchup either,and fries were cold. For the price you pay,they should have a condiment station at least.

There are few greater places in the entire world than the Legendary Churchill Downs. Fortunes have been won, and fortunes have been lost. At times, the rush of nostalgia will rush over you, coupled with the roar of the crowd, and the thunderous stampede of the thoroughbreds down the back stretch. Memories are made here that last a lifetime. The sun always shines bright at this Ole Kentucky home. And you ain't never been anywhere, or seen anything, until you've witnessed a Kentucky Derby in person.

My wife and I toured this well-known site in late February and unfortunately, it was cold and windy. But we were still able to walk through the stands to the finish line and the guide braved the nasty weather to give us some interesting tidbits and insider info. The museum is also a must-see, especially if you are a horse racing enthusiast. The museum offers a well-rounded history of Churchill Downs, the horses that have run there as well as the jockeys, trainers, and other workers who made the Kentucky Derby world famous. I’d love to see a race here!

The museum was actually much bigger than I thought it would be and much more interesting that I thought it would be so I ended up thinking it was worth the money to get in. It also included a tour down to the stands which was pretty cool to see and able to see the track up close as just part of the basic tour is a very cool place to go with a lot of history.

Very beautiful historical racetrack to visit. It was great taking the tour that is offered at the museum. I would love to experience a race event in person some day.

Home of the most famous race in the world the Kentucky Derby. I would have loved to go to one of the races but I came here in the off season when there were no races running at all. There are a lot of different tours to go on: Backstretch Workout Tour, Barn and Backside Tour, Black Heritage in Racing Tour, Bourbon and Bridles Experience, Race Day Experience, Hermitage Farm and Derby Museum Tour, Ultimate Churchill Downs Tour, Throughbred Workout Tour, Superstars and Spires tour (I really wanted to go to this one but it was sold out), Guided Track Visit. I went to this last one, you got to see the track as well as the grandstand. Nice quick tour if you aren't a big fan or in a pinch for time but I definitely recommend the other tours if you are a big fan.

An amazing experience to watch a live Horse race. You can't imagine how good a vibe is created during the horse race. We bought tickets in advance. We watched almost all the races that day. Very good experience. There were plenty of food courts inside. Next year, we are planning to go there to experience the Kentucky Derby that has almost 170,000 viewers. In Louisville, this place is a must visit.

Went here for Kentucky derby 2023 and it was a great time! Highly recommend a box seat and near the finish line. Drinks and food were basic but all inclusive. Cigars cost extra. Definitely a great once in a lifetime experience.

Excellent tour and was amazing to see this historic place in person. A shame I wasn't born when Secretariat run the Derby in 1973. His record still stands. There is a beautiful display about him on the second floor of the museum adjacent to Churchill Downs.

2024 opening day at Churchill downs. Very organized this year. Signs on Taylor boulevard navigated me to the Blue parking pot were my ticket was valid to park. There was plenty of parking still available as well as handicap. I was close to the entrance but still had a goal cart rode for free to the door. I went to a gala in the Trophy room on the 6th floor. The attendants are not very knowledgeable about navigating to the right places. But overall I jad a blast and Churchill downs gets better and better every year.

We showed up and did the Barns and Backside tour, which is an hour, then did the walking tour an hour after that concluded. Really great tours. We went to the museum in between the tours and saw the greatest race movie. Currently a lot of construction but it'll be great once it's done. Highly recommend the tours. The barns and backside gets you to the other side of the track, which is nice, but I wish we could have walked into the barn area, although I understand why we couldn't. Great experience.

A very affordable and informative tour. I was able to ask questions of the guide both during and after the tour. The amount of knowledge he had was incredible. We got to walk out to the track and see where it is that the horses run. Hard to believe more than 150k people can fit! Outside of the tour, the museum has so much available information for you to read and go through. There are incredible artifacts and interactive features to engage with. We really enjoyed the 360° video experience as well.

Lots of history and a great location to visit even if you are not totally an avid fan and follower of horse racing. The tour and museum will give you a solid understanding of the sport, both past and present. I recommend anyone coming to do one of the two tours available to get the most of your trip here. Just simply walking around the museum is not enough. The tours are between 1-1hr 30 min and you can either tour the grandstand and spectator areas or the stalls for the horses.

Very interesting place about Derby History, you have to take the tour to the barns to see the horses but you have to be older than 8 years old. The history tour is very interesting and it was so cool to hear about the history and care they give to the horses definitely a must seen spot of Louisville 😉

Worth stopping to see even if passing through. The 18 minutes video plays every hour. You can watch it from the second floor or inside the room. I recommend getting to museum at top of the hour to watch The Greatest Race for better appreciation of the museum if you know little to none on this American tradition. The walking tour is great. Tour guide was high in spirits, knowledgeable, and respectful to keep guest in shade on a hot day.

Book in advance!!! We woke up Saturday morning and decided we would add this to our list for the day. The website showed all times for the tour were still available, so I decided to wait until we got there, since I wasn't sure when we'd arrive. We got there about 2pm and all the tours were full. We still paid full price to see the museum. Plenty of free parking was available! There is a lot to see and do in this small museum. Very informative! My daughter loved the exhibits and being hands on with racing equipment. Secretariat’s exhibit was amazing! The employees were very friendly! The store was a bit over priced and very small. The café closed at 3pm which seemed kind of early too for me.

Visited Churchill Downs at Louisville, Kentucky. Loved the museum and watched the history of Churchill Downs too in a 360 degree auditorium screen. Had taken the tour too to see where the most attended and most watched horse race takes place in the United States. Would love to come back to Churchill Downs in May to watch the Derby in person. One can buy different memorabilia from the gift shop too.

A must see for everyone! A fantastic way to explore the rich beauty of the Thoroughbred racehorse and the splendor of the Kentucky Derby. This is a wonderful attraction for all ages. Even if you don't follow the sport, I would recommend a visit. If you love horse racing, you will be in heaven! The short film, " The Greatest Race" is stunning! I might be addicted because I kept going back to watch it. Warning, it may give you goosebumps and a sudden urge to buy a racehorse! Let's not forget, there is a gift shop. I absolutely loved the displays. The products are quality and the prices are reasonable. Oh, and I must mention one of the most important parts... The customer service is excellent! The staff is friendly, fun and knowledgeable. They will make you feel right at home. Take my advice, just go and enjoy yourself!

I visited the museum as part of its annual Horses and Haunts Tour during October. Our guides Heather and Molly were excellent guides, providing a lot of history to this native and Derby attendee (for 45+ years)! It was super cool to see the track at night and hear these stories under the hallowed spires. Highly recommend visiting the museum and taking advantage of this tour every October!

Great museum with helpful staff. Be sure to sign up for the track tour, it's included in your ticket. If you love horse racing I would plan to spend a few hours here. Staff was helpful and gave great suggestions of exciting past Derby races to watch. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Highly recommend visiting for horse racing fans. Girl Scouts have an opportunity to earn a patch here as well.

This is a must if you are in Louisville and are interested in the history of horse racing. Our tour guide Max was wonderful- we took a chance on the day that we went and were blessed to have seen an actual horse race which was for selling of the horses. There is a lot of history- we highly recommend that when you take the tour you ask as many questions as you possibly can as it makes it more interesting for both you as a spectator and for the tour guides as well. The museum has a lot of information so plan to spend a good amount of time there. It is also interesting for kids of all ages - there are video horse races that you can choose your own horse and ride and control the horse, there are life-size mannequins and horses of great history and there is even a mock starting gate for you to climb onto a horse for a great photo opportunity. Should you get a bit hungry there is the Derby Cafe where you can get a quick bite to eat however check for when it is open as it was closed on Sunday which we were aware of and plan for accordingly. Highly recommend

Loved it! Did one of the tours, so worth it. Make sure to book a tour ahead of time. Would love to go back to do one of the other tours that were already sold out on our only day there. The museum was neat to walk around. Also, I loved the movie, got me a little emotional.

Really awesome displays! The 360° film was a must see, very nicely done! I have never been to the Kentucky Derby, but after visiting the museum, I'm seriously considering attending!

Really cool to be on the grounds of something that you've only seen on TV completely packed with people. The museum gave a great history of the race, the grounds, the horses and the jockeys. The 360 degree movie was super heartwarming and a great addition to the museum. The track tour was cool. The facts about the grounds were very interesting. There is a lot of construction going on right now so the cranes and such were in a lot of my photos. The staff helping in the front were not super friendly or helpful with providing what was available that day. The entire thing was definitely something to see, not sure if I'll be back again.

The behind the scenes tour was phenomenal- Barry, the guide was extremely passionate, patient and knowledgeable. His passion for the Derby was infectious! The actual museum was interesting but nothing compared to being able to drive past the stables , talk to the hands and hear all of the interesting rid bits. The gift shop was reasonably priced and offered a wide variety of souvenirs to satisfy a passionate enthusiast and casual stroller

What a great find! The KY Derby Museum was better than I expected. They have an excellent film and a beautiful museum that covers all parts of horse racing - horses, jockeys, trainers, owners, and Churchill Downs, and more. The trackside tour is informative and engaging. We saw a few horses and riders on the course, too. We also purchased the Barn & Backside Tour. It was cool to see some of the Derby horses already housed here. We saw a few horses arriving in preparation for the Derby.

Fantastic museum. The movie at the beginning of the tour is wonderful. Would have loved to see more of Churchill Downs. The regular tour just takes you to one spot in the stands and that's all.

Came to the Kentucky Derby Museum on a whim, ended up having an amazing time! Johnny Bourbon behind the bar was a real gem! He made the made the museum experience exceptional for both the kids and big kids alike. Everyone working at the museum was awesome. Highly recommend the museum and the bourbon bar, ask for Johnny Bourbon!

We were visiting from out of state and specifically stopped in this area to visit Churchill Downs. There were not races at the time, but we did visit the museum and I will say it was amazing, even my non-horsey family enjoyed this experience. If you plan to visit, I would recommend purchasing tickets prior to arrival, this will ensure you are not spending a long amount of time in line, it will also preserve your space to see the track tour which is awesome. The docents that walk you into the track have years of Churchill Downs track experience and love sharing their experiences and track history with you. The visual inside the track is beautiful and a great picture opportunity. If you get an early enough walk through you may get to see horses working out on the track. Also, while there be sure to watch the track movie. It is extremely well done and touching if you are at all interested in horses, horse racing, or are just the idea. The museum is two floors with the first floor dedicated to track and track racing history. The second floor is dedicated to exhibits about Secretariat (racehorse), D. Wayne Lukas (trainer), and Bill Shoemaker (jockey), they are all very well done. I would also recommend, at the end of your visit, taking a stop into their cafe and try out a Mint Julip and one of their sandwiches. Overall, this was a great experience at $20/person, I would definitely recommend visiting this gorgeous museum.

If your a horse person this is a must stop. We stopped here on our way up to Indianapolis and I am glad we did. We really enjoyed all the history there as well as seeing where secretariat raced at as well as other famous horses. We for sure be back soon

An amazing place to visit. We went there this mid-week in a large group and bought tickets in advance. The experience was very good. We learned many things about the Kentucky Derby and all of its history. All the guides were super friendly and cordial. We had the guided tour which was a very unique experience to learn and visit this museum. There was a 360 degree movie called "The Greatest Race" included in the tour. That was a unique experience to have. There was a gift shop there that has a large variety of souvenirs and hats. Overall, this museum is very good to explore. If you get the chance to explore Louisville in Kentucky, I would definitely suggest having this in your list.

We had a wonderful time. We were there 4 days prior to the dirby so it was a little busy. Our tour was very educational and worth the cost.

As people who aren't into horse racing we weren't sure if we would like this museum. Definitely glad we went. It was far more enjoyable than I ever expected. Made me want to go see a horse race the next time we are in town.

Super cool place! I have never taken a tram car thru a cavern before. Our guide was great, too. He explained everything in the cavern and how it was created. It was interesting enough down there to keep my 11 month old grandson occupied. I definitely will be back! FYI, I have night vision on my phone. It is a lot darker than it looks...

We had a great time here. We decided on the walking tour, and it was pretty fun. The guide Olivia did a great job. It is a little pricey for what it is, but we are glad we did it. It is so neat down there. It is amazing how large it actually is in person. The entrance is a little weird, and we weren't sure we were in the right place. It is a long hallway that looks abandoned, but eventually opens up to the cave.

According to the owners quote, they "transform it into a holiday light spectacular for the Christmas season. " If you consider displays of Marvel's avengers, Mario brothers, minions, and tanks to be part of the Christmas season, then I guess the quote is right. Only about half of the 15 minute drive through was holiday-themed. It seems like the rest of it was put into place just as a filler. Not to say it wasn't neat, but it's not as neat as they make it.

The Louisville Mega Cavern tour proved to be a regrettable experience, particularly disappointing for several reasons. First and foremost, my visit did not coincide with the Christmas season, meaning that all the festive lights were packed away except for a few stray decorations lingering visibly, adding to the overall dreariness. Furthermore, the cavern itself is not a natural formation, which diminished the excitement right from the start. The tour primarily focused on the cavern's history as a fallout shelter and a storage site for salt, interspersed with some rather dull videos. This narrative did little to enhance the experience, leaving me questioning the value of the tour. The worst part, however, was the environment within the cavern. The air was thick with a dust reminiscent of a construction site, making it uncomfortable and raising concerns about its quality. Throughout the tour, the main sights were abandoned vehicles, sealed-off doors, and a collection of low-quality props—hardly the engaging or educational content one might expect. Spending $20 and an hour of my time in an artificially excavated, dusty cavern observing these lackluster displays was frustrating. With the money and time at hand, almost any other destination would have provided a better experience. This was the first time I truly felt someone dared to charge $20 for a tour of what felt like a vast, polluted parking garage. The disappointment was profound, and I would strongly advise against this tour for anyone looking for a meaningful or enjoyable outing.

The zip line tour is so cool, we’re big zip line fans and doing everything in the dark with bright lights was something new and we had a really good time. The tour guides make you feel confident and safe about the whole experience. We really enjoyed ourselves!

Excellent tour with our tour guide Skeeter. Skeeter did a good job of providing us with laughs while also giving us the history of the caverns. My family and I chose the Tram tour since we have a small child. It is cool in the cavern but not cold. We were fine with a light jacket. It's not really a lot to see if you don't Zipline or do more of the exciting attractions. Kids might get a little bored on the tram. It is a huge place, I think about 17 miles and the tram is about 2 miles long. It's a unique experience and one I'd definitely say to give a try.

We came here to do the Mega Quest aerial adventure course! The guides explained everything well and were friendly and helpful. We felt completely safe and confident in using our gear, the belays are easy and intuitive to use. I liked that it wasn’t a linear course, and you could go through it at your own pace and choose which routes to take. The short zip lines in it were our favorite! You’re also allowed to leave the course at any time to take a break and remove your helmet and gloves, just don’t take off your harness because then you are done. You get two hours on the course which was more than enough time, we even ended up finishing a little early because we were so sore! I recommend short sleeves because you get really sweaty, however personally I’d recommend long pants because with all the ropes on the course, I did get a couple small rope scrapes. Nothing terrible, just keep that in mind! There are lockers to store anything you don’t want to take/wear on the course, but it takes quarters so make sure you bring cash or prepare to use the on site ATM that charges a fee. Make sure to have cash to tip your guides too! They’re working hard for you! We live in Ohio but I’d love to come back some day to try the full zip line course or the tram tour!

I purchased the Mega Tram ticket since I was already doing so much walking on my vacation. I called before hand and was told that the Mega Tram and the Mega Walking tours covered the same route. Our tour guide was great and made jokes along the way. The cavern was a pleasant temperature since I visited on the hottest day of the year. Definitely worth seeing if you want a break from the heat of summer but not what I would consider over the top exciting or a must-see. I like caves and caverns so I enjyed it.

We had a walking tour with Sophia. The tour was informative and interesting. There are a lot of cool facts and funny jokes as you go along. Some cool lights to see as well in the dark. The space could have more cool displays added with time. The adventure gym seems cool and the zip liners seemed to have fun.

Much cooler than I expected! Mega Cavern is an old limestone mine that is massive. It has some interesting history as well once being a fallout shelter. Now it is a driving tour, adventure area, zip line tour, light show and even commercial storage. Worth the visit!

This was an absolutely amazing experience for the whole family. There's a display for everyone. Dinosaurs, Christmas scenes, marvel comics characters, heavy machinery, veterans, Disney and other characters, America/USA, and amazing light shows at several places. Very entertaining and we will definitely be back again. We'll probably take the guided wagon ride through next time just for the better view!

Well worth the cost. Lots to do while waiting. I was disappointed in the gift shop. They seem to have cut back after Covid. Our tour guide was very informative. In the picture of the original caverns look close and see a man standing in the original 60 foot high cavern. They hauled in 40 feet of fill.

So much fun! Everything started on time and we were with a great group. The guides Abby and Bambie so sweet, clear about what was needed for the zip parts and had fun comments to add in. We had a blast.

We did the walking tour and it was pretty cool - the lights make it fun and it’s interesting to hear the history of the cavern. Our guide talked a LOT - could be good for people who enjoy awkward jokes and hearing the same voice non-stop, but it wasn’t for us. Might have been better with a different guide. Entrance is through a long hallway, just keep going even if it feels like you’re not at the right place.

Aaron and Jordan were awesome guides for the zip lining!! We felt safe and had a lot of fun! Best drive thru light show we've ever seen! Highly recommend going and doing these activities. Great family fun!

Awesome must-do adventure!! Very kid friendly! The staff is very attentive and nice, very knowledgeable as well!!! I encourage all ages to try it out. Even if you are afraid of heights they have a low level course. Super fun time and you will definitely get a good workout in

We visited, and went on the walking tour through the Cavern, which is very much worth adding to your list of things to see/do while visiting Louisville. We explored the Cavern with a guide named Sophia, who was very friendly, knowledgeable, and funny. At the end of the tour I asked how many times she had walked the cavern/given the tour. Expecting her answer to be in the hundreds, I was amazed to hear that it was her very first solo tour through the Cavern. She did an absolutely incredible job, and we left with a great bit of interesting information regarding the history of the Cavern, and would absolutely visit again.

More then worth the drive. The kids loved it and it was just enough time spent driving thru before it became too much. Xmas Eve was the right time to go and the price wasn't overpriced by any means. Music and lights were fabulous

A very unique display of lights, nothing compares. If you have your tickets on your phone, there's no reception in the cave at the attendant, so maybe take a picture of it, they do have your name so not a problem

10/10 recommend for families. Eat before you arrive (Wendy’s, coffee shop, and Kroger near entrance). No outside food at cave. No good food options in cave. Bring cash to tip. Buy tickets in advance. Lockers available for $1.

Absolutely loved it. We went on a weekday and got there around 10:30 to 11:00. There was no wait and we drove right in. The beginning was good and it just kept getting better and better as we went through. The finale at the end was the best experience. I highly recommend it for both kids and adults as there's plenty to see for both.

We had a great time with the kids, most of the big cats were hiding or sleeping and that's the only disappointment. Quick and easy to enter the park but food is really pricey so I'd suggest eating before or after you leave the park or leave to eat and re-ennter. Fun day overall.

I have been going to this zoo for As long as I can remember. It's always been a very clean and friendly zoo. And just a great experience that even now my own kids love. I will say summer months are the best time to go more of the animals are active enduring the winter months a lot of the attractions are closed. But nevertheless, the food is always good in the park is always clean. Can't wait to see what they have in store next

My daughters first trip to the Zoo for her 3rd birthday. We had a blast! I will say there were quite a few exhibits that were closed or looked rough, and we honestly didn't really see all that many animals. Idk if it was the time if day (late afternoon) or just an off weekend but I definitely expected more to be going on with the animals. But they can't be up and out constantly so I think we just caught them at nap time 😊

There were very few people there, so a lot of things were closed. But we had a great time, everything was well maintained, and the staff we saw were very friendly and informative. We were able to walk through an exhibit with loose wallabies, three of which had babies. The giraffes were so beautiful. We saw a baby zebra, a baby elephant, among others. The zoo is working to save endangered species. The lorakeet exhibit was amazing. I had two land on me to drink nectar from my cup. Most animals that were inside to get out of the drizzling rain, we could still see or get glimpses of through the clever viewing angles and variety of viewing spots. I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt with the five stars, because I feel that if everything was open the experience would have been even better! We sit at the African Outpost. The food wasn’t amazing, but was much better than I’d expect from a tourist site. They actually had gluten-free buns. We had a burger and fries, and it was certainly better than fast food.

We arrived at opening and enjoyed two hours of exploring with no crowds. This is a fun zoo with lots of interesting animals and creative enclosures. The walk includes inclines and declines but all are easily conquered. There are plenty of food and drink options well dispersed throughout the park. The staff is friendly and helpful.

PARKING: I bought a parking ticket online, and it was easy to find a spot. We didn't have to walk far. They have a parking lot. ADMISSION: I bought the tickets online. I paid around $20 per person (adult). I thought the price was decent. We went on a Friday afternoon, and there was no line to buy tickets. I could've bought the tickets in person. CLEANLINESS: I used the restrooms, and it was clean and had soap and papertowels. toilet paper and dryer. Also, each enclosure and section of the zoo are kept clean. FOOD/DRINKS: They had water stations by the bathroom where you can get filtered water. The alcoholic drinks are priced super high. We got a pink cone with dole ice cream. It was good and pretty for pictures. SHADE: It was hot. Some parts had shade but mostly expect to bring sunscreen, especially if you burn easily. They had buildings with air-conditioning. ANIMALS: I've been to plenty of zoos, and this zoo is the first zoo that I can tell animals are happy. They were active. Their enclosures are very clean. You can tell that they are healthy. I didn't smell any foul smell. Usually, the zoo stinks, but not this one. One orangutan even interacting with us! She was very curious and gave everyone that comes in signal to look inside their bags. Some animals were sleeping, and some were playing. They had things in their enclosure that kept them entertained. We got there around 2 or 3 p.m., and they don't close until 6 pm. But they stop serving food and drinks around 5 pm. I wished we got there in the morning. We didn't get to see everything. TL;DR Admission is decently priced. Animals are active. Plenty of parking. Food and drinks are priced high. They have water stations and the place is clean.

I had a great time at the Louisville Zoo. They have a great variety of animals that they take great care of. I found the Zoo to be very easy to navigate, clean, and packed! It is a great spot to bring children during the summer. There were a decent amount of seating options and benches around the park which I certainly enjoyed on the hot June day I went. Definitely bring a bottle of water and sunscreen if you are going during the hot summer months!

Visited with my daughter and grandsons and it was wonderful! The staff was informative, knowledgeable and friendly. The zoo is laid out well making it possible to visit every exhibit without it being exhausting. Lots of places to sit in the shade and refresh. Kids enjoyed the water park. I will definitely e going back.

I have visited several times and recommended the winter months. Some animals are not on exhibit, but those that are out are more active, and there are fewer crowds at the exhibits. Tips: Take a stroller or wheelchair if anyone in your party has difficulty walking. Free water bottle re-fill stations around the park. There are 2 playgrounds and several places for photos.

The zoo was fun. I think they could have spent less on the decorations and put more money in exhibits. There was a lot of spaces with no animals to look at. Although it was crowded, everyone was kind and courteous. Love that they had scooters for people with mobility issues. I wish they stayed open later.

We often pick random things to do in our city or surrounding area. Making memories for our son to remember forever is so important. We hadn't been to the zoo in a while and wanted to check it out before we decided on getting a pass this summer. Despite it being snowy and dead and almost everything closed and many animals put indoors, it was still fun! We can't wait to come back in the summer. You could easily spend an entire day here, and it's great exercise!

To start, this is not Sea World or some other huge corporate entertainment facility. I did not go during peak season and it shows. Many food options were closed, not that I needed them. The good news is that there was no wait to see any of the animals! The educators we spoke to were nice and helpful. Overall, pleased with our experience and look forward to some additional activities they host, like brew at the zoo.

We went to see the lights. The lights were really nice and fun. Definitely need to wait till it's fully dark to enjoy. The only disappointment was that they put away/blocked off the animal exhibits. We thought we would be getting to see the animals while looking at the lights. $20 per person feels like a but much when we couldn't see the animals as well. It was a nice walk though through the lights.

We enjoyed our visit, even though the weather wasn't the best! Most of the animals were out, the walking wasn't too bad, but usually zoos keep some things open when the weather is a little less than, but everything was closed. Everything. We've never seen a zoo so closed off, but this is only our fifth one so maybe it's always that way. We also didn't see a single employee the whole time, except for when we were at the gift shop at the very end, which was surprising, especially given the amount of people we saw and some of the behavior of some. We're going to try to come back on a nicer day to see if maybe our first impression wasn't totally accurate. Worth a visit!

Amazing!! I was surprised to see that many animals in Louisville zoo. Be prepared to walk, walk and walk. They do have a shuttle golf cart and the trail is wheel chair accessible. It’s worth the money and I would visit again. It’s a must see if you have limited time.

The zoo was very well maintained and not too crowded. It was hot, the random misters on the path were a welcomed surprise. My son was thrilled to see both an African Elephant and an Asian Elephant. We went on a Sunday. The zoo had a nice variety of animals to see. Parking was easy once my husband stopped following Google maps instructions that told him to loop the circle a few times.

It was educational as there were staff through the park to talk about certain animals as well as displays.We enjoyed seeing the animals, of course. I didn't like seeing some of the animals without a companion, but that happens sometimes. They are set up for the evening Halloween event, so getting to see the decorations throughout the zoo was nice. Parking was cheaper than I thought it would be. My family had fun visiting.

This zoo has a very good spread of animals that were all very well cared for and easy to see. My family went on an overcast Saturday and got into the zoo with no wait and saw almost all of the animals, save ones not at the zoo entirely. With that being said, this is obviously an old zoo and some parts of the facilities are clearly in need of updates. This does not affect the animals, but the consumer experience. They are clearly aware of these as some parts of the zoo were under renovation. If you do plan to go to the zoo, plan on bringing your own snacks and food. There were places to stop regularly throughout the zoo, but the prices were fairly steep for the items, as to be expected. I recommend ending your visit with a stop at the gift shop. These facilities are incredibly nice and have a wide range of items and prices to offer. All and all a great family or couple experience!

I love it. I had to rent a wheel chair, but i got to sell it all they have an amazing dusk light show.it really must be so spectacular at night time . We were not able to stay.

It's always an amazing time. Louisville Zoo is one of the most beautiful zoos in the country. The membership is awesome! The enclosures are beautiful. Our family loves the zoo!!!!

Very busy zoo. Get your tickets in advance if you don't want to spend an hour in line. The exhibits were very nice, and the animals were very active. We caught feeding time for the elephants, which even did tricks!

I took my family over to enjoy the festivities and see all of the wonderful artwork. It was quite chilly that day, but the animals were very active, brilliant . It was the last time we got to see the male orangutan who sadly passed and will be missed dearly.

I have been coming to this zoo since I was a small child and now bringing my kids back brings me such joy!! We have moved away and I live in the DC area and am near to •many• zoos. I will say this- the pricing-the parking-the lay out and the enclosures of the Louisville have kept it in the top 5 zoos for me!! They have continued to update enclosures, animal areas, and buildings. The silver back gorillas enclosure is one of a kind!! My kids absolutely love being that close to these animals! The goat petting area is always a hit! M The elephant area is very neat to visit- the openness of the outside enclose for visitors to see is always a treat! One of my favorite things about this zoo is the seasonal decorations it will have! Such as Chinese new year, Christmas.. etc And when they are in season the camel riding is always a treat! (The camel riding is an extra fee) My kids LOVE the carousel at the end!! The splash pad is great during the summer!! (This is free to use!) The educational “shows” are excellent- and while every animal isn’t out all the time that is VERY normal for a zoo! My kids LOVE coming to KY to visit family and go to the zoo!! The gift shop prices are average for animal gift shops- the food prices are average for canteens and restaurants in zoos and aquariums. Because it is Kentucky the layout of the zoo lends itself to the hilly terrain- which is unavoidable. I have walked this zoo pregnant, I’ve also walked it pushing a double stroller while carrying an infant. I have walked it with my grandparents who have both been in wheelchairs- though hilly it is still an easy zoo to walk. We love this zoo and won’t be told otherwise!

We went to zoo to see the Lights in Fall 2023. They were awesome and we were still able to see a fee animals too. This exhibit is great for kids of all ages and our college kid loved it too.

The sculptures were so interesting and pretty. This was the first time I visited this zoo. It appears they are updating some of the enclosures to be more realistic to the natural habitats of the animals. I hope they continue this.

We decided to take the day off and drive to the zoo. They have a special for $7.95 on Monday. We had a blast. The facility is clean, the kids were happy, there are a ton of shady areas and places to sit and rest. They have free water stations throughout the park which is probably my favorite part.

Their enclosures need to be reviewed by an inspector because some of them are pretty unsafe for the public. The warthog enclosure is one good push away from having a child inside the enclosure. They have a wonderful bird exhibit. They charge for parking which is absolutely ridiculous considering people are coming to pay for the zoo. So on top of your admission you also have to pay for parking! They find every way to nickle and dime you. If they have a problem with people parking there and then leaving the property, then a quick tow truck call can fix that right up! We are active duty military and we had to pay 48 for a family of 3. Their price online says admission is $10 a person, but we very quickly found out that was a lie. We were told military get in free but that didn't happen for us. This is a big zoo and none of the outdoor vendor spots were open to sell hot cocoa or any food. The gift shop was highly overpriced. I just don't feel like this zoo really invests their money into their animals. It is clear the donors are the ones really paying for the upkeep of these animals.

Totally awesome tour and definitely worth it. All of my kids enjoyed it. The free mini bat is a nice touch either. Keeping four boys from poking each other with them is a different story. After the tour you get to see the museum which has some nice extra items in it. We came on a holiday on the fourth of July weekend and only had to wait 10 minutes for a tour to start.

If you like baseball history you will luv this place. They give you a great tour of the factory where they make 4000 bats per day. They also have lots of pro baseball items you can buy that are signed. At the end of the tour you get a free souvenir bat. You can use the batting cages or check out the bat cave and gift shop. Ez parking.

As a former baseball player, it was a really cool experience to see where these bats are made. Also, the amount of time and dedication they take to craft each one. It was also cool to bat in the cages to test out different players' bats. I would definitely recommend it to someone who played baseball before or someone who appreciates woodworking!

Had a great time. I'm not a huge baseball fan, but this was an awesome tour. They have a bat vault that is really cool. Bats that past famous MLB players used. The tour is worth the money, really learn a lot about the bat and the wood. Also a good place to purchase a bat

If you you baseball and its history, this is a place you must visit! The visit includes a tour inside the factory where you can see how bats are made. The exhibitions are simply amazing! You can hold a bat that belonged to Babe Ruth in 1933, you can see bats from Joe Di Magio, Roberto Clemente, Jackie Robinson, Roger Maris, Tyler Cobb, and some other legends. You can buy nice souvenirs at the gift store and even get a customized bat. I highly recommend this museum.

This was a pretty cool tour as it was in a real production facility where they are not afraid to show off the pride of their product. Overall, it is always cool to support a family business even if it is a big one. Pro tip: they give everyone who takes the tour a mini bat which saves on souvenirs for large family groups. Pro tip #2: they laser print all types of bats for gifts and it is pretty quick.

Fantastic place if you even have a remote interest in baseball. I would say if you enjoy watching stuff get made or are into woodworking you would enjoy the place. The tour guide did a great job explaining what was on the factory floor. The museum had great exhibits and you can even hold bats used by the greats of the game.

Great tour, even for those that are not baseball fans. Understanding the entire process and watching them mill the bats and varnish them by hand was fun. Highly recommend for all ages.

Unique museum. If you are a baseball fan this is a must see. We were just passing through and have been wanting to stop. Tour was interesting and museum was nicely done. Different areas to explore. We spent about an hour here. Our seven year old enjoyed it as well!

Nice space with some free exhibits, but if you want to enter the museum portion and/or do the tour, there is a fee. I think the tour is a must try for fans. It was interesting to hear about and see the process. AND they give you a mini bat of your own at the end of the tour. When we went early in the morning, there was no wait for the tour, BUT when my friend wanted to do the tour later in the day, she would have had to wait about 1.5 hour for her tour group. So, buy the tour ticket early if you plan to attend around the noon time.

We needed a stop on our road-trip from MN to Panama City Beach to break it up and stretch our legs and let me tell you this didn’t Disappoint!! Our teenage kids Loved stopping here and doing the tour! They were all very happy that we decided to do it! As parents that was a success! Best part is, Each person got a Mini Bat as keepsake with Tour Ticket Cost! No need to spend anymore in gift shop! 2-4-1 ⚾️

We really enjoyed this place! Great tour and I learned so much! I'm not a baseball fan, yet the rich history of the game, the process of making the bats, and learning about the players was incredibly interesting. I definitely recommend visiting, you will not be disappointed. We also got customized bats made. Very reasonably priced and it was only about a 15-20 minute wait.

I think this is a must see quick trip to see a working piece of history. Tour lasts about 30 minutes and you have to be assigned to a tour time. Awesome to see the inner workings of how the Louisville Slugger bat is created. There are other things to look at and learn including a batting cage. I was in and out in an hour and felt good about my time spent. Check it out while in Louisville.

This was worth the whole trip! We bought tickets the night before for the first tour on a Friday. So much cool stuff! The tour was cool because you were right inside the factory where they make the bats! They let you take all the pictures you wanted and hold all types of bats! And at the end of the tour they give you a miniature slugger bag to take home! Big souvenir shop! I would go again!

Really fun for families and baseball fans. The tour is easy and is with a guide. You walk through different setups in the factory and they play short videos with more information. At the end you get a mini slugger, watch out for everyone who gets super lit to get them - they start swinging. There are other parts to visit including a history area with mannequin/statues of famous players. They also have a bat room. And the batting cage is fun if you have the time.

This place is beyond AWESOME! Where else in the world can you get a picture of yourself holding Babe Ruth's actual bat? A must see if you visit Louisville and you get a free mini bat at the end of the tour!

My wife has talked about Louisville Slugger Museum for as long as I've known her. It has an extremely strong anchor to baseball, especially professional baseball. All the majors, leagues and players, get their bats from here. It is where their bats are made. At this museum, you can see how bats are made, from the selection of the tree to the cut and shape of the bats. It features a tour of the factory itself and ends with its own museum of baseball history. It is a fascinating tour for anyone, whether you are interested in baseball or not. It is a highly recommended tour of Americana.

Super fun experience! There's an area that's free to go in, along with the gift shop, but a paid tour is available, as well! The whole museum is well worth the visit! Tours are reasonably priced and done in small groups. Will definitely be back again.

This is fun place for baseball fan especially for a hitter. You can watch how a baseball bat was made from a log to a famous product. You truly walked into the factory to see it. The museum part also exhibits lots of MLB famous batters! At the end of the factory tour, you'll receive a mini hand bat as a souvenir. A Place for all ages and family fun!! Recommended!!

This is a great American Historical site. The Great American Ball Game, was "shaped" and influenced by the production of these bats. We loved learning the history, and seeing how these bats were made.

Tour guide was extremely knowledgeable. Friendly and tickets were reasonably priced. Gift shop is a bit expensive for the products that they have available to buy. Guess that’s to be expected. Can find similar items online for half the price. Other than that, overall good experience.

Greeted by the World's Largest Baseball Bat right out of the museum. I ended up taking the tour here and they show you beginning to end, the production of the bat. Starting from the piece of wood, how it was cut back in the day. Nowadays with machinery, you see how quick production can be. You get to see every step of the way from the carving of the machine, to a slope test, to the sanding machine and then they are finished in with some paint. Lastly some are branded and then ready to go for use! Overall nice tour and you get a small souvenir bat out of it. Very nice!

Awesome museum! Great to learn about the history and how they used to make the bats and to now walk through the factory and see bats being made. Highly recommend you visit if your into baseball at all. I'm not a baseball fan but enjoyed it. They also have a batting cage and small 20min movie about the bats.

Great museum and if you're a lover of baseball, then this is a must do! The tour includes walking through the actual factory while the bats are being made, which I found to be the best part of the tour. The tour guide also went into the science of how they're put together. You also get to take home a nice token... you guess it, a miniature Louisville slugger bat.

I’m a big baseball fan and I really enjoyed the tour! Learning about where the wood is sourced and seeing a bat being made was very special. After the tour you can go to the batting cage and try out bats that are replicas of the pros both current and historic. My favorite bat is Hank Aaron’s, I had to try Babe Ruth’s bat too, it’s HUGE and hard to swing. If you don’t have time for the whole tour you can just go to the batting cage and gift shop. There also a movie that talks about the history of the game and Louisville Sluggers roll. I’ll be back again!

An essential part of the Louisville visitor experience! While I enjoy the sport, I confess I'm not that into baseball - but this was such a fascinating experience and should not be missed. Heads up for my fellow air travelers: the museum will ship your souvenir mini bats for just $10 (bundle them together to save!).

The best winery I have been to so far! The food was delicious, the wine was extraordinary, the market, ice cream, swans oh so much to do, I should have picked blueberries!! Worth a visit!!

We had a great day ar Huber's. Purchases some preserves and baked goods. We had a wonderful wine tasting experience with Ken. He was very knowledgeable about our choice of wines and the winery. We purchased a case of wine!

We brought the kids just to have a day outside and pick pumpkins and apples. Hadn’t been since a child and I believe there’s two locations now. We ate at the restaurant and went to the play area before doing the fruit picking options . Food at the restaurant was decent but not delicious like I remember it and not worth the price in my opinion but I think they have a Huber restaurant at the other location with more home style food. We had burgers and chicken strips at this place . Smaller kids can definitely run around and use up their energy. They charge you by pound for the apples you pick so if you go with a family be mindful . My family enjoyed the fish pond the most . May come back with just her so we can try wine tasting and just relax with great views. It’s beautiful land and everyone should visit at least once. The drinks and home made snacks and cider were hits for us as well, riding on the traitor was my favorite part on a hot day, the breeze is amazing lol wear comfortable clothes and shoes !

Stopped in for a wine tasting while in town visiting my parents. Beautiful property and establishment. Had a great wine tasting and definitely will be back when I visit next. Took home the their lakeside white, sweet stella di luce, and limestone white blend as my top three but others were good too. My step dad did the spirits tasting and I'd love to try some of their cocktails. Sipped his black raspberry bourbon liqueur and it was delicious.

Ken at the tasting bar is the absolute best. Very informative going over the tasting menu and we even got to have an extra taste of one of the newer wines they have to offer. Wine Down Wednesday was a success!!

What a great find just a short drive from Louisville KY. Great wine and spirits along with a wonderful staff of 8 generations! My fav was the apple sparkling wine ! Hubby loved the blackberry whiskey. Shared lots of area suggestions with us. They also have a bakery nextdoor and the bread was fabulous. Lots of homemade goodies. Ice cream shop and picnic area also on site ! Will visit again. Highly highly recommend!

So much to do at this place. Orchards and patches, markets and shops. Something for everyone, including the kids. Bamboo and corn mazes, slides, inflatable, racetracks... The winery and distillery are great. Youll easily spend a whole day here. There are several restaurants in the grounds too.

My wife and I visited Hubers Orchard about a month ago and had the best time! We only expected to be there for an hour or two and ended up staying four hours. They have a winery with 15 dollar tastings but you get to pick 7-8 wines or spirts. Also they have a general store with fresh produce and other goodies. On top of that the parking was free and the hay rides were free (or at least it was when we went). Before we left I got some of their ice cream and my wife got their coffee (they were delicious). We definitely plan on visiting again sometime!

We did a barrel tasting tour with John and had the best time! John did a great job and was so informative. The spirits were delicious. We were very impressed. I highly recommend the tour and John!

We visited this place in October 2023 and I thought it was one of the best places I have ever seen. We tasted wine, enjoyed live music, ate and bought local products that the farm itself produces. We picked apples, tried the best pecan pie ever, bought cheese bread, orange marmalade and apple cider vinegar. One of the best experiences for me and my family that you could have once you visit Jasper, Indiana

Patty gave us a wonderful wine tasting! She was very informative and a delight to talk to. The wine was amazing and we left with 3 bottles. Highly recommend this as a must-do activity for anyone visiting from out of town or even a fun time with friends and family. The fall harvest decorations were gorgeous and Huber’s was selling the most perfect pumpkins I have ever seen. We will definitely be back before fall is over to go pick pumpkins!

Picked punkins and apples. Ate the buffet,excellent. Buffet and drinks four people for 80 dollars. Hard to beat for an authentic home-cooked meal. Shopped and fed fish. Be careful!! I always spend too much money shopping here. Blackberry pie was 16 dollars, loaf of homemade cinnamon bread for 10$ we love this place!

This place has always been fun and just keeps getting better over the years. I went when I was a kid and with both my oldest on school field trips. So much for adults to do and children. The cherry on top is the scenery.

Love this place. My wife and I have been wine club members for several years. They have live music on the patio area, food to eat and a couple bottles of wine. Always well kept and clean. Staff is always friendly. The Family Fun Park is excellent for the kids. They have a plenty to keep them busy for several hours. We will be back soon.

Can’t go through Kentucky without doing a bourbon tasting! This place was small but put together well. Got to taste, tour the distilling and bottling areas. Host was very knowledgeable and was willing to answer most of your questions. If you want intimate bourbon experience, this is the way to go.

One of the best tasting experiences on the bourbon trail. Our guide loved bourbon and loved telling the story of their product. I know Jefferson’s isn’t for everyone, but they love their craft here.

What a fantastic little jewel in the crown of the bourbon trail this place is. It’s a small facility packed with love and great people. Oh and the bourbon is delicious too. Patty was our tour guide and was by far the best guide we have ever had the pleasure to experience. She is knowledgeable, fun, and full of energy. What an invigorating breath of fresh air she is. I’m SO happy we took this tour! They offer discounts for first responders and veterans, but even at full price, the $12 cost of admission is well worth it. Our designated driver was able to tour at no cost. Thank you KAD for an experience that was outstanding!

Really enjoyed this tour and tasting. There were just 4 of us and our guide, Laura. She made the history really live and was great with our silly questions. This was the first tour where we thoroughly enjoyed everything we tasted. Hadn’t tried Jeffersons before and it was delicious. Even the lowest tier was smooth and nuanced. Would highly recommend this tour and tasting.

Over the years my wife and I have done a number of tours including some famous ones in Ireland, but we actually found this one to be the most interesting one we have ever been on. Wes was our tour guide and he provided a great deal of interesting information in a very understanding and enjoyable way. The time just flew by. We got to see some interesting stages of distilling that we had not really been able to experience. The tasting was extremely well done.

Went and did a tour and tasting today. Tour was good, host was knowledgeable. Bourbon was good and we liked the variety.

Great experience. Much different feel than some of the larger experiences in the area, and it is the first contract distillery I’ve visited. Everyone was so friendly from the time you walked in to walking through the distillery and chatting with the people working. Dee was informative, and you could tell she was passionate about their story. It almost felt as they were welcoming you into their home. Great selection of bourbons at the end of the tour.

This was a really cool place. We had visited several of the larger distilleries so this one felt quite homey and personable. We spent the most amount of money buying from here. We can’t find some of there selection near us and some is only sold in Kentucky. It’s really cool to hear how they collaborate with small distilleries in the area. Oh and they have a shark you can track named Jefferson!!!

We started day 2 of our bourbon trail tours with Patti. It has been the best tour of our weekend! She was hilarious, informative, and made this such a fun morning. Definitely the best tour we’ve been on.

Had a great experience tasting thé bourbon at this distillery. Beautiful, well organized and the host is very good at explaining. My favorite bourbon from this distillery is the Ocean, the one aged at sea. Highly recommended for a nice tasting experience.

Tour was short and sweet, but gave a lot of info! We were in and out in a hour. Tom was our tour guide and he was great! There was a bourbon tasting at the end. Though I didn’t partake, I heard the bourbon was good and strong. The tour price is cheaper than other distilleries because it’s not in the heart of downtown.

We went on the tour with a group of friends and a tasting. The tour was very informative about the origins of the company, I just wish it was a little more informative about the making of the products. The bourbon tasting was pretty cool and interesting. We had a nice time.

Overall had a great experience. Visited the day before the governors inauguration so there was a ton going on. Beautiful building. Would recommend the guided tour cuz I spent the first part just walking around aimlessly and didn't get much history that way.

A visit to the Kentucky State Capital is a must. Not only can you meet with your state legislators, you can watch them from the gallery, see the dolls of the First Ladies and the quilt squares made for each county. The architecture is amazing and the Capital rotunda is a sight to behold. I would go early because parking fills up fast. There is a cafeteria in the Annex building where all the legislators office are as well.

The staff is super nice and the lady who did the tour was very kind and did a great job showing us the important rooms and details and was always giving us a lot of information. The capitol building is huge and has such a great architecture. A visit is definitely worth it!

Drive around only. Came on a Saturday afternoon so nothing was open for tours. The grounds are beautiful & it made me proud to be a Kentuckian. There are some really neat art installations/ sculptures and the landscaping itself has several areas that are living sculptures. And then.. as we drove around and discovered the ROSE GARDEN! It was all in bloom and just amazing. I have never seen so many different colors & varieties of Roses in one spot. Established in 1961 you can tell whoever has been in charge of cultivating this garden oven the years has to love the roses and what they are doing.. size wise its not that big.. but that just makes it even more special to me. Simply lovely.

Impressive Capitol Building and grounds. Parked, walked right in, signed in with security as was allowed to roam the building (State Troopers and staff were all friendly). At the time of our visit it was obvious some TLC was needed but renovations have been implemented since. The House was in session so we took seats in the gallery to watch for a short time, then we strolled around observing architectural wonders and historical displays. Statues of notable people (Lincoln!) are located under the rotunda but we noticed empty spaces (Jeff Davis had been moved. BLM and Gov. Beshear had made their wishes known and that's too bad. History shouldn't be denied.) Still, everyone showed Kentucky hospitality and we enjoyed our visit. I recommend.

I have been to around 15 State Capitols, this was one was really nice. My favorite part is it had the most fully functioning library out of all of them! The Librarian staff was so insightful about the history of the building and Kentucky. As well as being able to compare her own Capitol building to other state capitals. She was able to suggest a lovely spot for breakfast Andy's which was an absolutely delicious experience. So overall my trip through Kentucky in Louisville and Frankfort and a few other stops was very nice. I suggest everybody stop at the state capitol building.

Finished a tour with Mr.Lee Watts from Patriot Point and I am so glad we took our kids for the capital tour. We really want to come back when it gets warmer. It's so important we show our kids the place where their elected officials work hard to keep our state great. We learned so much about the Christian heritage in our history as a state something very important to my family and I.

We have visited enough capitols to compare and prefer the ones that actually tell us about the state history. This Kentucky State Capitol does. Unfortunately, we did not have enough time go in, but walked around this place and it was stunning. The building's exterior and grounds well kept.

This is a really good place to go see a piece of Kentucky history! The building is really interesting so definitely get a tour. Outside the building is fun to see as well. I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to make a painting for the Governor's Derby poster!

Decided to try and make it to all 50 state capital buildings as they are complete marvels of engineering and building. The Kentucky capital marks my 8th, and it was quite impressive as the others. It had a very picturesque grounds, and immaculate inside of it. Luckily it was Tuesday and not much was going on. A few other visitors there.

It is a beautiful building with a lot of history. Construction started in 1905 and was finished at 1909. Granite and marble inside was from, Vermont, Georgia, and India. honestly, I wouldn’t enjoyed it as much if George and Linda hadn’t been there, they were delightful. Good people! I WOULD RECOMMEND

The building is under construction and was closed the day I arrived, but I can imagine how beautiful the building is. The surrounding environment looks good even though it is covered with little snow. Will return in the future.

We’re working on visiting all 50 State Capital buildings and Kentucky’s was truly beautiful! Grand, pristine with tons of history and interesting facts, this was one of our favorite Capital tours. Our tour guide Scott Johnson was great, and shared tons of interesting stories about the building. 5 out of 5 ⭐️!

Very friendly staff. Excellent interior with a high quality marble floors. Visitors need to be careful as there are a lot of marble steps all around. If you focus on taking photos, there is a chance you slip down . Got a chance to walk into both House and Senete. Great feeling to feel the place where people's representatives discuss and make laws.

When I went there, I was at an event, which to begin with is nice, and there was a lot to see and do. It was so cool.

Hard to find anything bad to say. Lee, our guide on the Old Taylor Tour, was our best guide of the trip. His knowledge and insight was fantastic. The gift shop has so much great merchandise it’s hard to determine what to take home. The tasting was great and I loved the bourbon ball and Freddie’s root beer with Bourbon cream combo. My harshest critique is that beyond the rotation releases you aren’t getting anything special here. But the grounds are perfect. The expansion will bring twice as much bourbon to the market eventually. This is the Mecca and a must stop. So much history.

This Place was absolutely amazing. We absolutely loved coming here and it was an amazing experience. We were lucky to have Freddy as our tour guide. He was incredible and made our experience perfect. If you are interested in getting good bourbon, you gotta stand in line early in the morning each day. We got in line at 8am for two days in a row and got Blantons and Eagle Rare.

Phenomenal experience!! Our Trace Tour with Jimmy C was educational but light hearted enough that we could easily joke around and/or ask questions. The distillery itself is massive, but so well maintained! I wish I could bottle the smell in the air. Staff in the gift shop were friendly, personable, and beyond helpful. Additionally, the gift shop had such a great array of everything! I ended up spending way more than I intended, but self restraint kept me from spending what I wanted to... so we'll call this balance. We had a great time and learned even more about bourbon than anticipated. We can't wait for a visit back to Buffalo Trace the next time we are in Kentucky!

Had a phenomenal experience on the tour and tasting. Our tour guide was informative and I really enjoyed seeing the distillery and the amazing scenery surrounding the facility. The tasting did feel a little bit rushed, probably lasting no more than 15 minutes or so. But all of the samples were delicious, including the surprisingly smooth vodka and the really delicious root beer. The gift shop is gigantic, and were we fortunate enough to get in early and grab a bottle of EH Taylor. Overall, highly recommend the tour and tasting.

Visited Buffalo Trace Distillery with some friends for a bachelor party. What a great experience. If you enjoy bourbon, you will enjoy visiting this distillery. Our tour guide, Eugene, was knowledgeable and professional. He showed us some great spots around the grounds and then led the tasting after the tour. Lots of interesting history here at Buffalo Trace. Even got to see some Pappy Van Winkle and Eagle Rare.

Historic facility, iconic brand, popular destination to purchase bourbon. Free tour was nice and keep in mind you are limited to one bottle per brand per person. Apparently there is a bourbon shortage. The tour focuses quite a bit on the history. In fact about 25 minutes of the 70 minute tour was spent on the oral history. There is a short walk around the grounds, a stop in the barrel receiving dock, a short walk into one of the barrel aging warehouses, a quick stop in the Blantons bottling room, and finally a tasting room stop. It was an average tour compared to other breweries or distilleries visited. The tour was rather limited in geography--no access to the brewing room or basically any views of how the booze is made--that was disappointing. Note--Eagle Rare sells out within an hour of opening on most days. I don't understand why they limit it so much. You'll find alcoholics, hipsters, and old-timers jogging from the parking lot to the gift store when it opens to make sure they secure their ONE bottle. Very strange. Good for Buffalo Trace for building a brand loyalty though. Hat tip to Todd for an entertaining tour.

Let me start off by saying that they offer sampling even if you are not doing a tour. I feel this is key when it comes to new whiskeys you haven't tried. The staff is very nice and informative. The sample process is also very well structured. The gift shop is very large. We purched a ton. Definitely will return someday!

This was a magical experience! You cannot miss this one of a kind tour and it's totally free. The engineering that goes into how they make their whiskeys is phenomenal and mind-blowing. The experience of the tour guides is second to none and you will learn things you never thought of. I'm a fan of American Bourbon and this tour sets everything I believe in stone. Not to mention the whiskeys that will be available to you in the tasting and in the gift shop. It's worth multiple returns!!

One of the best free things I've ever done. All though i enjoy bourbon, i definitely didn't know much about it. During this tour, you learned pretty much everything about the process and the history of the distillery over the years. I am a buffalo trace fan and it was interesting tasting the difference between a $30 dollar bottle and a much higher priced bottle. I would definitely do it again.

Very organized! So you go in and park, then go to the visitor center/check in to get your IDs scanned and a wrist band. Then you walk into the actual gift shop and tasting room. There’s 2 stories, the upper level has the tasting rooms you go to after the tour and where you can taste of several bourbons (no charge), and then a small tasting station in the first floor for 1 special bourbon (I tasted the Traveler). Pretty cool! Ask them why the buildings and trees are black!!!!

We loved hearing the stories and learning the history about all the brands. Patrick was an EXCELLENT tour guide and tasting leader. Beautiful campus and gift shop! I don’t remember their names but the lady from Hungary that checked us in for our tour and the lady who checked us out in the gift shop… both super friendly and excellent as well. The only negative was the lack of variety in the bourbon available for purchase. We had a fabulous overall experience and will be back!

Great tour, tasting, and visit. It is great to see progress on the expansion. We visited on a Monday and didn't have a reservation for a tour or tasting. They were able to fit us in even though everything was unavailable online. They now have a tasting room above the gift shop, so it is worth just showing up and doing what you can. The earlier you arrive, the better the chance to score some bottles from the gift shop.

I will return again someday. We enjoyed every minute of it. I love how they belief in their product. They give free tours with a free tasting at the end. They do so well that their tours are often booked solid. Make reservations before you go.

Visited the famous Buffalo Trace distillery on my recent trip to KY. The grounds are awesome! If you’re looking for some of the allocated bottles I’d suggest getting there early. The gift shop is amazing and the fact that they don’t charge for the tour is also an added plus. We did the “hard hat” tour, it was a neat behind the scenes experience. Make sure to try a bourbon ball along with some Freddie’s root beer and bourbon cream. A must stop piece of American history!

We loved our first ever visit to this beautiful historic distillery we went 2 more days!Arboretum tour, The trace tour & a gift shop only day. Got there at gift shop opening time each day and we’re able to purchase our “quota” of the special bottle offering of the day. A complimentary tasting even comes with visiting the gift shop if you’re not scheduled for a tour! Everyone who works there is incredibly friendly and really seem to enjoy what they do. Leave time in your day to wonder the grounds, especially the gardens which are open to the public. There’s even a playground in that area for kids. The woodworker was very informative and it was fun to see his shop. We ate at Firehouse Sandwich shop for lunch & it was delicious. We truly enjoyed each day!

Took the Old Taylor Tour and the Hard Hat Tour and they are fantastic experiences! The tour guides are very informative and give excellent information about the distillery and the history of the property and the bourbon made there. The Gift Shop provides great selections at unrivaled prices. The staff are all very nice and provide a nice feel all over the campus.

Very cool place to visit if you’re passing through Kentucky. I made a quick stop in and didn’t get see everything because the place is so big. Enjoyed a tasting and some treat from the gift shop. Would love to return

Buffalo Trace has very deeps roots in bourbon history, which you can learn during their free tours. It is a very neat place to visit, with people visiting from all around the globe. Scheduling a tour is a bit of a nightmare, because all of the tour slots are full months in advance. I recommend going on the waitlist for whichever date you want, because that’s how I was able to get in. You are able to visit the distillery without a tour and just visit the gift shop, which I don’t like because bourbon resellers come early in the morning and purchase the limited bottles they set out before the tour people can get to them. I believe that purchasing these bottles should be limited to touring customers. The gift shop has a lot of near BT products as well. There is a free bourbon tasting area, however, if you’re in a tour you cannot do a tasting since there is a free tasting at the end of the tour. I was fine with that until I realize both tastings had different offerings so I wasn’t able to taste all of the bourbons. Our tour guide was great and taught us everything about the BT history and showed us around some remarkable buildings. I recommend this place if you want to learn more about bourbon history and see how it’s made, but try to plan ahead and arrive early if you want a Blanton’s or EH Taylor bottle.

What an amazing place, our tour guide was Michael, he was very knowledgeable and led a great tour. For free you can't beat it, wish we had got there early so I could have got some E.H. Taylor was they were sold out by time we got there. If your coming to try and get some good hard to find bourbon them you better show up early.

My wife and I took the 2 hour hard hat tour on our anniversary. Extremely well done and informative. We absolutely loved this distillery and its history. Our tour guide was amazing and the scenery was beautiful. Definitely recommend a stop at buffalo trace

I loved it here. We did the Taylor tour and had a good time listening to all the history. Shout out Annie for being such a good guide. Even of you don't drink it's still fun to walk around and enjoy the history. If you're like me and don't drink, you can still be part of the tasting and they just give you the delicious root beer. Tons of fun

Buffalo trace: Around $30 Blantons: Around $65 Eagle Rare: Around $50 Weller Special: We got up at 3am and drove over 8 hours to check out this distillery and it was worth it! I gotta say the fact that the distillery keeps the alcohol prices at MSRP makes me a loyal customer. You can tell they really care about their customers. Form what I gather most the special liquor of the day is usually sold out around noon. I hope this helps!

Great stop for those who enjoy learning the history behind a place. This place had so many amazing sites to see that we're complimented by the knowledgeable tour guide. Whole tour is about 45 minutes to an hour and well worth the visit.

I've explored the exterior of the property for decades, but this was my visit time touring the inside. It was a fun experience. Our guide, Derek, only enhanced our afternoon! Definitely worth checking out when visiting town (not a big time investment).

I enjoyed this visit more than times in the past. The guide was very knowledgeable. She made the information a story and as we walked through each room she kept our attention. Very friendly and respectful!

The guide was quirky, knowledgeable, and fun. It took about an hour. There was a metal folding chair placed in some rooms if one needed to sit a moment. You will have to go up and down stairs. The spiral staircase was my favorite thing.

We have been to Lanier many times, but each time we seem to learn something new. Our tour guide, Derek, was knowledgeable and able to answer our questions. Great tour and learning experience! Our group included adults, teenagers and a 9 year old. Enjoyed by all!

I have toured a lot of historic homes and this tour was fantastic. Nothing roped off, no rooms skipped over, photography welcomed. Jared was an amazing guide! He kept it interesting and definitely knew the home, the people associated with it, as well as the history of Madison in general. Senior discount over age 60.

This was a great tour! Our guide did a great job! We went on Sunday. It said open 10-5pm. Then it had specific tour times. We went across the street to the historical society to get tickets for the next tour. It took about 45 min. Great stories and Information.

The architecture and furniture pieces are exquisite and beautiful. A historical gem. The tour guide, Derek Hughes however, we can pass on. Off color racist jokes are uncalled for, thanks anyways.

What an amazing adventure!! We loved learning about the history of the mansion while enjoying the knowledge and enthusiasm of Jarod our tour guide! It was great! History comes alive when you take the time to learn in a place like this with a guide who is passionate, entertaining and personable.

This one is a must see. The mansion is very well kept and very well presented. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, in fact all the staff we interacted with was very friendly. If you are into looking at historical homes this is definitely a top contender.

We we in Madison on a weekday in April, and found when we stopped at the HMI office that most of the historic sites were closed. But we had a great conversation with Jess, the director, and learned enough that we know we want to come back! 2 tips we picked up - call ahead if you’d like tours, and Friday’s are good if you want to schedule tours at more than one site

We had so much fun getting to go around the Speedway. We had several idiots in the group that ruined it for the rest of us that followed the rules. Next time we do a race track, we will have to have a driver's meeting so this does not happen again.

I went there many times and heartbroken they don't race there now. Racing was always amazing, and stands were always full. I keep telling NASCAR that and will never give up hope of them coming back. If anyone feel the same, please tell them. Google NASCAR headquarters. They are in Daytona.

What a fantastic way to waste millions. Run down and in places it looks like a zombie apocalypse. The track is well maintained but the rest is such a waste. ****** If you are checking on the Rusty Wallace Racing Experience ****** Skip it ! They are horrible ! Their junkie radios that do NOT work makes the experience dangerous, oh and if you can't hear them it is YOUR fault ! Better count those laps, because they don't and will charge you an arm and leg guessing how many you did !!!! Richard Petty Experience I did years ago was so much more organized. Horrible!!!! Our group rented the speedway today. A once in a life time trip. Fun for all of those that participated.

I only went to see the facility. A lot of wasted space. Looked more like a museum than a racetrack. Didn't go to the Petty experience. Even the Marquise sign is faded

What a great track. Never drove hig bank before. Even better than flat track. Made me feel like a Nascar driver!

My coworkers and I signed up for the new model launch repairs/cleaned up on Super Duty trucks parked in the Ky Speedway.

I camped in the infield during the Quaker state 400 NASCAR weekend in July and it was amazing. The facility is like new and the staff are everywhere to help you get around with golf carts or trolleys. The events all day like concerts and vendor displays were fun too and I can’t wait to go back.

Good track and rocking camping/RV areas. I recommend Ponderosa although camping along the backstretch offers an up close and personal experience close to the action. The backstretch area also has power and transportation comes by frequently. Keep in mind that this track does not allow guests to bring alcohol inside.

Loved every moment of the experience! Make sure to get there early so you can tailgate before the race. Parking is free. We had great seats and could see the entire track throughout the race!

Nice track and it was easy getting in and out. The handicapped parking for my dad was on the other side of the track from our seats. Maybe some more shaded areas for people to sit leading up to the race would hurt either. Also not sure why you charge $4 for a bottle of water that cost less than $1. Other than that it was a good experience.

Kentucky speedway is fantastic. Absolutely wonderful to watch a race. Nascar tickets were priced reasonably low for what you get to see. People were very kind. (Staff) and best of all I do not think there is a bad seat in the facility.

This was amazing! I'm so thankful that we were finally able to see this! Very well done, so lifelike! This was well researched and very informative. They answered any question you could think of about the Ark, the animals, what it must have been like, and how could it all have been done. We also saw the virtual encounter that took us back in time to the Ark & the flood! We loved it all! We bought a ticket bundle with the creation museum and saved a little bit. We went to creation museum the day before, then a full day at the ark.

This place was awesome. It just shows how great our God is. Loved the short films that are played on each floor. Must see from bottom to top. Perfect message of truth and hope. I was in awe. The greatness of our fathers love, and mercy and then wrath. What a blessing to have been able to see this. I highly recommend this and the Creation museum package. Go here on the 1st day then the creation on the 2nd. Bring your children and grandchildren and teach them the importance of Noah's Ark. Plant the seed in their hearts that when the Lord is with them, they can do ALL things through Christ whom strengthens them. And if he is for you, can't NOTHING be against them! 🙏🏻💖🙌✝️ A great message and memory to give your children/grandchildren!!

Definitely a trip worth making! Awesome educational exhibit. Amazing visuals arts! Beautiful facility! Clean and well maintained though out! Just gotta find the best days where it’s not as crowded. It can get pretty cramped and tight in some areas.

This experience will forever be a family favorite! We loved getting to see just how big and how amazing the Ark probably was. It genuinely had me thinking about things I've never really considered before. Thank you so much for this recreation of one of the most well known stories of the bible.

It's remarkable that someone built this with modern tools let alone in Noah's Day. Lots of information on each floor. Go prepared to read. Also, there is a lot of walking. They have added things outside. The zoo is great for kids.

It is huge. Built to the specs in the Bible. 4 stories tall but you only see the bottom 3 floors. Easy accessibility as you climb ramps to each floor. You can spend 1 entire day here if you read and watch everything. So much to read and see. We spent 2 hours and quickly went through it all. Kids actually did get bored in the boat but it was very interesting to see everything and seeing how huge the inside boat is. The restaurant on site was good and actually cheap for a buffet at a place like this so I'm glad they're not charging overpriced food prices. Definitely worth a stop even if you don't want to be there all day. Our kids (9) were free as well so it was fine if they did get bored. They did enjoy the small zoo on site though. There weren't very many animals but that's ok.

Great experience and great for family. To see a life size of the biblical account of Noah’s Ark. You don’t realize the scale until you actually face it. The inside display is beautiful and awesome. The work that they had to do, had to be enormously hard but with help of God it was accomplished. We have cranes but they had ways to build which is mind blowing to figure how. Definitely recommend going on a visit. We also plan to see the other museum.

First time visiting the ark and it was AMAZING!!! What a great experience. Very biblical oriented and You're immediately overtaken in awe and admiration of the ark. It was bigger than I thought!!! Gives you a whole different view about how catastrophic the flood was and how much work it took not only to build but to maintain the animals and carry the food. It answers a lot of questions and gives you perspective on possible ways things got done. You walk a lot and it has 3 or 4 levels that gradually go all the way up, there's elevators too and chair you can rent for handicapped people and also strollers for toddlers, please wear comfortable shoes. It takes around 4 to 5 hours seeing everything at a moderate pace The ark gets really packed so try getting there early. We purchased tickets in advance and drove 6 hours but it was well worth it!! I highly recommend the buffet on site and also the 3D experience and petting zoo for children. Lots of souvenirs at the end. I recommend the beverage bottle with unlimited refills as well! We got the ark encounter tickets along with the creation museum and it saved us some money!

Out of timeline experience! Hearing about Noah and the Ark growing up in church is one thing, but to see how massive it really was in person is another! Every member of the staff was exceptionally nice! The zoo was awesome. The buffet was one of the best I've ever had. Listened to and met True Song, the Ark Encounters own Christian group. They were phenomenal! Overall, 20 out of 10 on everything! Try to go on normal days if you don't like crowds. Holiday weeks are slammed. But that's to be expected with something so awesome like this! Can't wait to come back!

Fun and educational for anyone, bring the entire family. The inside displays about the biblical account of the flood, Noah’s family and God’s redemptive plan are creative, interesting, and awe-inspiring. The outdoor zoo was beautifully kept with garden areas to eat or rest. Many interesting programs throughout the day, some live and some multi-media. Easy to enter and exit the attraction and accessible for all. Plenty of reasonable food options, too. $15 car parking fee at the entrance.

This place was amazing and well worth the visit! I loved every moment of the tour. It’s was so cool to imagine what it would of been like to be on the actual ark! The wallaby petting exhibit was a first and fun experience. A worker takes you picture for you for free at the door with the cross. I tried to slip her a 50 but she would not accept it. I donated it to ark. It was that cool.

You must see this place! Pictures don't do justice (though they're helpful). Great experience. Everything was done very well, and I love the attention to detail in every part. It is very well thought out and gradually tells the Bibles story as you go through the Ark. There is plenty of seating to take rests. There are plenty of drink stations and bathrooms. Wasn't too crowded. The books at the gift shop are great. The visual graphics were amazing (kudos to the artist(s)). God food options on-site (a little pricey but worth it).

This was so awesome. It is such a cool thing to see. It wasn't too crowded. Lots of cool information. It does take time and patience to get through everything. There is stuff for all ages. So much fun to go to the zoo and interact with the kangaroos.

The Ark Encounter is a great and wonderful place! My family and I went to this after spending the day before at the creation museum. We didn't think it could get much cooler but it definitely can! This by far was our favorite attraction between the two, It is so huge and inside. It has various museum exhibits as well as a clear display of what the arc could have looked like inside, and how it might have worked. There are bathrooms on every floor. It is about four floors, with the first floor just being the line to get into the building. We went on a very rainy day and there were not a lot of people there which was really good for us. But I saw some of the line cues and it looks like it could get very very long during a hot summer day, as we went in January.

My entire family loved the experience. Very informative and realistic scenes. So real inside that my youngest daughter (4 years old) thought the animals were real. She also asked to go back through it when we were done. We got there at 10:15 and left at 6:20. That was with us going pretty fast through the 3rd floor and about an hour in the restaurant

Nice experience. You have to read a lot to help understand. A nice concept is that they show the biblical and secular versions of the story. There are plans for a 600-seat restaurant on the top deck. That will be awesome. Also, there are several zip lines. Unfortunately, the weather kept us from riding.

Amazing re-creation of Noah’s Ark, built the same size as the Ark from the Bible’s specifications. We spent nearly all day there — we were happy to find bathrooms on every level, snack shops, gift shops, and places to sit and rest. The Zoo was fantastic too! The whole family will enjoy this very well done exhibit and world-renowned attraction. The restaurant was good too, buffet style so something for everyone.

What an awesome experience! Great for all ages. My 2.5 year old loved it, my husband and I loved it, and my parents loved it. Really puts it in perspective from your childhood thought process of a big boat. The ark held all the animals! This ark encounter sure gave you a real life feel for what is believed to be as accurate as possible. Play areas for kids. A zoo connected to it with some interesting animals! Allow the entire day for fun....we had to cut ourselves short unfortunately. We will definitely be back! They offer stroller rental. Only $10!!!! Worth it, especially without the hassle of bringing your own.

A fun and educational experience for the whole family! It is neat to think about the intricacies and architecture of the ark itself, not something you consider every time you read the story of Noah’s ark. Thought the video clips did a great job building the story and sharing the gospel throughout the exhibit. Loved the details and appreciated the lists of potential animal groupings, how water and food were dispensed, and where/how Noah’s family lived. Lots of history through a biblical worldview.

Wow! My wife, her Aunt, and I had an absolute blast exploring the Ark Encounter in Kentucky! Let me tell you, this place is nothing short of awe-inspiring! When we first laid eyes on the massive Ark, we were blown away by its sheer size and grandeur - it's like nothing we've ever seen before! One thing that really impressed us was how accessible the Ark is for everyone. They've got you covered with wheelchair and scooter rentals right on site, making it super convenient for those who need a little extra assistance. Inside the Ark, there was plenty of room to maneuver around with accessible chairs and scooters, ensuring that everyone can fully enjoy the encounter. They also have elevators throughout the Ark to help. The exhibit inside the Ark was mind-blowing! We were completely immersed in a world of Bible history, learning about Noah, his family, and all the fascinating animals on the Ark. The level of detail and information they've packed in there is just incredible. Oh, and getting to the Ark from the parking area was a breeze! A quick and fun ride on the bus took us right to the entrance, and when we were done, a swift ride back to our car. It couldn't have been more convenient! If you're looking for an unforgettable outing, trust me, the Ark Encounter is a must-visit destination! It's not just for adults, either - they've got so much for the whole family. Kids will be over the moon with the on-site zoo, thrilling zip lines, and the awesome restaurant that offers delicious bites. So, whether you're a history buff, a nature lover, or simply looking for a fun-filled family adventure, the Ark Encounter near Cincinnati is the place to be! Dive into the world of Bible history and experience the wonder of a life-size Noah's Ark. We had an absolute blast, and we know you will too!

The family and I went to see the Ark experience today. It was an awesome experience for everyone. The exhibits were done really well, and there were a lot of visuals to keep the boys entertained. We were all blown away with how tall the Ark was. There is also a zoo on site, which was done really well. There is also a buffet at the park which was a great value, the food was really food. We stopped at the playground for an hour or so before leaving. Great activity to do with a family of all ages!

We drove from West Palm Beach , Florida to Kentucky to see this! What an amazing experience we had. I loved the exhibits inside the ark about the facts about the flood, ark, animals and Noah . There was a lot to see. I really enjoyed it. They have gift shops inside and outside the ark. My family loved the outside zoo as well !

This is a once and lifetime experience, and so much to do, but the best part is to learn about God and the great flood and how the Earth is the way it is today! It's 3 floors of an experience you will never forget! And as always friends see you next time!

Drove from Texas and I highly recommend this place. It takes you there in the physical. Gives you wisdom and provides answers to so many questions. The staff is amazing! They truly are in the mindset that they work for GOD and not man. That is rare to see. The food at the buffet was good and that place was well run. We went in late Nov so the crowds weren't as big. Also something I didn't check in advance. They are closed on Sunday so the 3 day pass was important when coupled with the Creation museum. Please try the virtual encounter. It's worth the money. Very cool and we are glad we had the experience.

It was my first time visiting, and I finally saw everything for myself after hearing from others, and it was amazing. There are plenty of things for children to do also. Just know that you will get your steps in while enjoying the experience. When you're in Kentucky, stop by The Ark Encounter BTW, the Hampton Inn is located right next to the venue. (Walking distance) 👍🏾 👍🏾👍🏾 👍🏾

Such an AMAZING experience!!! We flew all the way from TEXAS to see this magnificent ark. We learned so much and EVERYONE was super friendly. The Ararat Ridge Zoo was the perfect animal touch to such an important part of the story. The only negative thing I would say is because the experience is a little pricey the picture should be included with your purchase or NOT as high. $30 for a memorable moment is definitely a little too high. I did purchase several gift shop items so it wasn’t that I was being cheap but it’s pricey for a regular photo.

Really amazing place! It's difficult to describe the shear size of the ark. Even from a distance, it is massive. Once inside, it almost doesn't feel real. The craftsmanship of the timbers, the exhibits and the time that went into making them, the staff...its all a great experience. Outside, the food is great, the VR experience is a blast, and the petting zoo is a great time. The historical and biblical accuracy, along with unknown facts, insights, and research really makes this an experience both educational and fun. It can easily take all day, depending on how much you enjoy reading about each exhibit. Highly recommend.

It is a bit on the expensive side. They didn't want to honor their "senior" discount, even when presented with a government ID without asking. Parts of it are more "preachy" and off subject. For example, why waste space with car crashes when the space could be used with on subject material. It was raining so we couldn't see the zoo, seems like they should do something to cover that area considering the percentage of bad weather days in that area. The real arc wouldn't have had open spaces and probably not the giant ramp. Certainly not something young children would understand. They should make some changes to the parking and shuttle system. If it is raining, getting to the shuttle is a bad situation and since you are already walking a lot, does the parking really need to be another hike? Lighting isn't good for taking pictures due to reflective surfaces and long distances in unlit areas. Lots of up selling going on just about everywhere. A bottle of water is $4 and they don't allow you to bring your own, that isn't good for people with health issues. It is a really nice place to visit, it just needs some re-thinking.

We just wanted to checkout the “Ark” to appreciate the magnitude of this thing - and it did not disappoint. We are Bible readers and we study the Bible, so we know a lot of the sights within the Ark are artists rendering or interpretation of what things “may have looked like” but we didn’t get caught up in all of that…just appreciated seeing the size of this thing and it was interesting to see how the builders interpreted ways Noah and his family created ventilation, stored water according to shelf life, grew their own gardens/vegetables.etc. Lots of things to buy along the way (snacks and gifts) many restrooms, elevators and they rent wheelchairs too. I saw that they have some zip lines and there is a small zoo you can walk through there as well.

We visited the Ark encounter with our family over spring break and had a great time. It was so educational to see how the art could possibly have been built how the animals could possibly have survived Noah in his family was so integrate in all of it. By the way, I never thought about dinosaurs being on the ark.

Great experience, lots to look at. If you're going, plan a whole day to be there. Thay have some good movies playing through out the day in the Answers building. I love the message behind the Ark experience. Someday God will judge the world again. A good reality check on where your heart is.

Amazing experience. Was very interesting, and unlike other museums that get boring from all the reading, they broke up reading with videos, exhibits, and other styles of reading, for example, comic strips that kept my interest. There was so much to do that definitely needs at least 4 hours, but I'd recommend it all day. There is a bus/shuttle that takes you from ticket stand to the Ark. They have a small zoo and an aerial/zip line course for kids and a virtual reality station. I only did the zoo, which was small but free. Will definitely come back with more family next time. I bought a parking pass online, which got me through quicker, but you can purchase at gate as well.

Amazing place highly recommended!!! My wife and I spent 7 hours and we are planning to go back as it was very informative and enjoyable. What a wonderful place thank you for creating this experience for all of us to share.

First we were most thankful that the gospel was clearly presented in multiple ways throughout the exhibit. Second, we were impressed by the sheer size of the ark. There was a lot of helpful information given not just about the arc, but about the beginning and events leading up to the flood. There is a note about artistic license, yet I did not see a note about the amount of study done before the beginning of construction. I’m glad I’m not the only one that noticed this; some else noted, there seemed to be a lot of commercialism reminiscent of a theme park like Canada Wonderland. There are two massive parking lots, which are served by a number of buses taking you to and from the main entrance. Then there is a labyrinth or maze of rails, like the rides at theme parks, twisting and winding around for those very busy days that they must have to get to the first ramp up to the first level. I think we were fortunate to be there on the school day however, there were a number of school groups or camp groups there making it difficult to enjoy the displays and take good pictures. It is most busy in the mornings, so I recommend going in the afternoon around lunchtime until closing. The buffet food was very excellent. Well cooked. Great variety. Well kept. For me, however, it would be nice to have more chocolate desserts! 🤣 We would be interested in returning to bring struggling, friends and unbelievers as we feel it might help them To see the reality of such an event.

Wanted to share more: Super fun!! My dad was ecstatic and in amazement. We couldn't go to all of the areas like the buffet or zoo, since we were short on time, maybe next time! Regardless great place to go with everyone of all ages.

Tent camping in Kentucky during an intense summer heat wave had it’s challenges, but the lovely campground made the best of a very sweaty situation! We had a lot of kids in our party and the campground pool was an absolute life saver for adults and children alike. The pool was right next to a small playground, bathrooms and laundry. All simple and small, but well kept. The campground was very family friendly with lots of kids but very quiet once it got dark. We stayed in site 19 and it was perfect. We had room for larger tent and a couple small tents tucked back near the woods under a canopy of mature trees. We had easy access to the trails and the kids enjoyed playing in the woods near our site. There were bugs as to be expected but the elevation is high enough that there are hardly any mosquitos which made sitting outside much more pleasant! The camp store has your basic things like wood and ice and some supplies, but not much. We did have to do a run to town to get a couple things that weren’t available on site. One warning: There is an absolutely lawless band of trash pandas (raccoons) that run this park at night! The are bold and relentless. Anything left out will be dragged into the woods for their enjoyment never to be seen again! Plan on putting everything in your car when you leave or cleaning up a big mess.

Nice State Park Campground designed for children. Took our granddaughter for a two day trip for the purpose of going to see the Ark Encounter. This park is one of very few that has a pool. Nice playground and miniature golf course. We could not play because they closed the store at 5:00. We wanted to play in the evening. They also have a small Bison heard. You have to take a trail to go see them. You will need to bring an extra long hose for water. Shared in-between camp sites. Some sites are not level so you may need extra blocking. Not the best place for retirees but great if you have children.

Beautiful park! The park staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We were even able to view the sun from their telescope! The museum has some great things to view as well. Definitely recommend!

So interesting. Great artillery demonstration with people in character. Lots of artifacts and picture boards explaining the history. Easy walk. Mostly outdoors. We had a great day for it. History buffs need to visit. Small museum with more in depth history of the different occupations of the native Indians, the French, British and Americans.

A beautiful and serene place to come and visit, there's a nice playground with updated equipment for the kids. And an even a basketball court further down the play area. The museum is small, but the gift shop has a lot of items to remember your visit by. Seeing the bison is always an experience, especially if you've never seen these magnificent beasts in the wild.

Our Grandsons still talk about our stay here. It was so fun. The playgrounds were really nice. Had a blast at the pool and walking to see the Bison 🦬 was a really nice walk threw the woods on nice wide gravel paths.

Love to visit this park and explore. They have nice trails along with 2 playgrounds, plenty of parking, and picnic areas. Can't wait to go back.

A great place for visitors of all ages! The museum is small but very informative. The loop trail to the salt spring is paved and easy accessible even for strollers or wheelchairs, mostly shaded too. Be warned, the salt spring itself smells like sulphur but that is normal. The trail to the bison (about 10 of them) is gravel and one way in and back out (uphill on your way back out). There is not much shade on this trail but you work your way around the encloser so you can get a great view of the bison wherever they are. They were all right near the fence as you can see! There was very friendly ranger setup right near the bison that was very informative and answered any questions that anyone had.

We stayed at the campground. It was really nice. The park and museum were beautiful. We did find a raccoon when we threw our trash in the dumpster lol.

Great park! Took a day trip specifically to see the Bison and it was well worth the trip. Spent almost a hour just enjoying these magnificent animals!

We stayed at the campground and also checked out the visitor center; and bison area. CAMPGROUND: we were in site 9. We have a 38ft camper. Had to wheel all they way back to the concrete bumper to fit. You must disconnect to fit your tow vehicle. We parked next to our camper. Nice picnic & fire ring. Sites are a bit close together and we could hear kids in a tent next to us easily. NOT REALLY BIG RIG FRIENDLY given the cozy spots and the huge inclined hill with curve coming into the campgrounds itself. Bath house dated. Pool was out of season. Nice it had a laundry facility. No sewer but has dump station. Water hookup was oddly on the opposite side as electric and near the neighboring campsite. VISITOR CENTER: a nice collection to look thru but very small. You’d only need an hour or less to take in everything. The diorama looks like it needs some sprucing up. We walked down to see the bison but they were surveying the paddock and had moved the bison away. Bummer. Trails were maintained.

We stayed at the campground for two days. The campground is not that big but clean and well laid out. The washrooms and showers were clean but need updating. The water hookup at some sites is quite far so make sure to have enough hose. The sites are reserved but there are some walk ins available if you come during the week or off season. I do have to say that the woman in the office must have been having a couple of bad days- I'll leave it at that. Seeing the bison and visiting the museum and gift shop was a nice bonus.

Very nice camp ground! Very clean and all staff were really nice! We had Easter here and the activities for kids were so fun!

Big Bone Lick was a trip that we decided to make three hours away because of the fossil beds, bison, and camping. While the park is kept up, along with the campsite, the base offering is actually pretty limited. I think my expectations were a bit more considering there were supposed dig sites on the grounds. The visitors center is nice, but very small. The diorama behind it was faded and in need of update. The bison were very neat though we didn’t get to see them up close. Trails could use some improvement. Overall a good but not great place, potentially much better if it gets an overhaul.

The family stopped by today to check out the Bison and the museum. We lucked out on this hot day that the Bison were all out eating grass. They were eating along the fence line, which made it a great experience. Standing a couple feet away from such magnificent and powerful creatures was a treat. Lastly, we stopped at the small museum they have near the Bison. It was way more than I expected, lots on display. Behind the building, they have another display with fiberglass animals from the Ice age. Everyone had a fantastic time.

A very nice Kentucky State Park that doesn't require a full day commitment. We were able spend a couple hours the view the visitor center, walk a couple of trails and see the local bison herd. The trails are well marked. The loop trail at the Visitor Center is an easy walk. Going back on a couple of the other trails past the bison can get you some elevation changes, but I consider moderate in difficulty. Overall we hiked about 3 1/2 miles in less than 2 hours. Plenty for what we wanted to do. The visitor center has a lot of information about the history of the site. Well worth a stop in visit. It's not big so 15 to 30 minutes is more than enough time. The staff and rangers were helpful.

What a wonderful place. Was so clean. Great price. I felt like I got a great deal. Lovely time. We ended staying two days. Good breakfast for cheap. Great atmosphere

This place was hands down awesome. Huge variety of games. Extremely fair food prices. Very very clean. Beautiful decor and lighting. A very large place to enjoy. Easy access to multiple restrooms. A great air filtration. You can't even tell that people smoke inside. We will definitely be coming back

The rooms were good for the price, definitely not the nicest place I've ever stayed but good. We didn't spend that much time at the hotel. I did hear some trains come through during the night. The tracks must not be close to the hotel, but you can hear the whistles blow. It didn't bother me much. I'm a deep sleeper, but I imagine if you are a light sleeper, it may affect your night's sleep. The room was clean. So all and all, a great place for the price. I only gave 4 stars because the lady at the front desk had some attitude when we went down to add some nights to our stay.

Sorry this is so long but it's worth it...Both my adult kids have autism, & for my daughter's 25th birthday, all she wanted was to see the casino (or at least the actual casino entrance) & pavilion. From the time we entered, we were blown away by how beautiful the place was! I love the grand staircase! The map in the ceiling- Wow! Everyone was so nice and courteous! We met a really nice man from security and other employees who were so respectful, patient, and nice and, when they found it it was my daughter's birthday even wished her a happy one! They made my son feel like a gentleman ( his words). He loved meeting people. Everyone was so polite, that he felt very comfortable, even tho this was a new place and he normally gets nervous when we're somewhere new... When we save up some money, we intend to return so she can fulfill her wish to try one of the slots... My son wants to play roulette lol ... Thank you all for giving my daughter the birthday she wanted and giving my son an experience where he could actually enjoy himself! God bless each and every one of you...

It was the first time in several years that I had been here, and a lot has changed. They no longer have the buffet. We ended up eating at the Barstool Sportsbook Restaurant. I had a Pulled Pork Sandwich, French Fries, Cole Slaw, Pickle, and Coke Zero. It was delicious! It cost quite a bit, but it was good. We then wandered around the casino, trying to find machines to play. I wanted to get pictures of the casino, but was too caught up in the place. Perhaps next time. I won $6, and probably should have stopped at that. Most of the day, I didn't have much luck. I have my best luck at the quarter machines, but didn't have much luck with them today. My only complaint was that I thought it was supposed to be non smoking, but there were non smoking sections, which weren't very big. Sometimes you could smell smoke.

We came here for my work Christmas party and it was a success. We enjoyed ourselves. The room was beautiful- no problems. The hotel and casino were very pleasant. The atmosphere was extremely welcoming. We played Texas Holdem and the dealer was very helpful and the people at the table were too. People were very nice here. We will be back. We ate breakfast at the coffee shop breakfast buffet the next morning and again it was nice. The girl was sweet and everything was very good. Thanks for great time.

Always love coming to Hollywood and never had a bad experience. Staff is always inviting and lots of selection in games/slots/tables. Wish there was a pool at the hotel. Other than that, all good things to say!

Great time at Hollywood for new years eve! Place was packed, but they had plenty of staff, lots of beer and food easily purchased without much wait. They had a dealer for every single table....all night, and lots of jackpots were being won everywhere you looked!! Thanks to all the management and staff for their hard work on a night that was what I can only believe was a capacity crowd! **Note** my rating for their rooms was entirely based on remarks I heard from guests who were staying. We drove in, after making last minute plans, had a great time. But unfortunately hadn't reserved a room for the holiday eve., so after collecting our winnings we eased on down the road.

First casino I went to and I had a blast with my friends. They've got two levels, one smoking and one not. Blackjack was my favorite game and my friends played the slots with me. The place is beautiful too and if you go to drink, I recommend the dirty bong water. It's very sweet with a bit of sour so perfect for a beginner like me. Even the bathrooms are fancy too! I felt like I was rich even as I spent my last fiver. Definitely recommend this place!

Wow! MY 1st time here and had a great time! People are nice Julia was great! Machines are modern and kept very clean! Free sodas and smoking allowed in some areas. Loved my time here and can't wait to come back here . Hopefully by then I would have earned a free night! Absolutely lovely place

The place is clean, but the building needs a bit of an upgrade .The staff was great... no real wait staff, though . I'll be back. I do recommend this casino to my friends... I would love to stay the night there.

What a great place, first time staying and the room was great. Very nice and clean. The casino is well spread out and very busy a little disappointing that the newest games they only had a couple need more for that amount of people. But all in all a great stay and visit. Definitely love the whole atmosphere here.

Classic chic hotel that is a time capsule sharing the eras of today and yesterday. Nice modern decor yet true to its style and homage to an unforgettable period in time. There is also a Casino for your entertainment. The casino is just walking distance from the hotel. Parking spaces and adjacent parking garage also walking distance from the hotel. Comfortable bed and bedding. Nicely decorated rooms. There are no microwaves in the rooms. The only available microwave is located in the main lobby. Nice and friendly staff. Decent prices.

The hotel is dated. Hallway carpets were stained. Room's bathroom could have been cleaner. Casino was fun. Well designed. They do allow smoking, which wasn't great for us. Bartenders were generous with pours. Entertainment was good. Lots of great music! We dined at the Final Cut steakhouse. Service was great. Our server ( whose name I think was Christina) was very helpful. She suggested the scallops and they were very good. Hubby had a Caesar salad and a crab cake. Everything is a bit pricey, but portions are huge. Overall, it was a fun overnight. Gambling is not typically our thing, but I'm sure we will be back.

Best casino we visit! Love the atmosphere...from the friendliness of other players to the staff and the wins! Has it all the newer slots and tables games. Always a good time and we usually win

I didn't have a room, service was okay. The girl at the bar across from boogie nights was stand offish. Some people rude who worked there out side of boogie nights. I went 7 years ago and it was a better experience tbh. But boogie nights itself was fun as always. I'm just shocked to see how busy it is now compared to the past!! And happy to see some familiar faces out there still dancing!

Resort fees- for nothing. We were told a room was ready when we arrives an hour early but it would cost $15 for early check in. We said we would wait and asked if they could hold our bags until check in- nope. Room was outdated and worn. Train goes by the window of room and is extremely loud and lays on the whistle at 11:30pm, 2:30 am and 6:30am. So forget getting any sleep. Employees were all very unfreindly in hotel, casino and restaurants. Restaurants were terrible. They have decided that there is no longer any need for any comfort or customer service.

Great place to stay since it's within walking distance of the casino. The only bad thing was the train that was right outside room. You would get woken up all through the night from the train horn. Doubtful anything could be done but that was the only drawback of the stay. Staff was suoer nice and helpful and the rooms were very clean. Plus the construction work at 7 am was a little annoying but now we are just knit picking

This place is so…interesting. Your risk of developing lung cancer increases 10 fold the second you enter the casino area and the hotel room has sh!t smeared under?? The toilet???? And we told the supervisor and she only gave us 40 off the room lol….I contemplated taking a picture but decided I didn’t want literal sh!t…on my phone. I had fun being drunk and losing money though!

I'm giving this experience 2 stars on the whole because we really enjoyed our time at the casino. The drinks were great, the food at the restaurants was good, and the casino had a lot of great machines. That being said, I will not be returning here because of our experience at the hotel. I was enticed by the offer for free rooms, so we stayed two nights: one of those nights we got for free and the second night we had paid for the room. When we checked in, we were asked if we wanted room service around 10 AM, and we said we did. When we got to our room, we ran into the room service individual Hunter and had asked for a few more waters because we have medications to take throughout the day. He repeatedly asked for "an arm and a leg" in exchange for more water. It wasn't until later that we realized he may have been requesting a tip. We always tip room service before we leave, and the experience left a sour taste in our mouths. The next day, we did not receive the room service. We had only two bath towels in the room, and there were three of us. We saw Hunter in the hallway and requested more towels, and the discussion resulted in a bit of arguing. Ultimately we were told that we needed to ask for more towels from the front desk due to hotel policy. We called the front desk and were told there were no towels. Periodically throughout the day, we called and visited the front desk to ask for another towel, but they still didn't have any available. As a result, I stayed there for two nights and was not able to take a shower. Another thing about the room is that there weren't any opaque drapes to close; there was only a sheer white curtain. Outside our window were very bright lights, so we weren't able to sleep very restfully. I'm sorry to have to write a review like this as we wanted to get away and enjoy ourselves, but I hope management might see this and make some improvements.

I'm editing this review to be more specific and less cryptic. A guest was getting aggressively physical after having beer spilled on him, he was threatening and pushing people that weren't even part of the incident, Hollywood threw everyone out. I just think it's bad policy to throw out level headed, non aggressive people who were in the wrong place at the wrong time. Especially when they don't fight back, aren't intoxicated and willing to carry a calm conversation about the whole incident. Plus the person who started it by spilling the beer tells security it was their fault and not yours. I said my peace. The rest isn't negative. I will add, the security person who escorted me to my car (on my request because that other guy wanted to physically harm me) was really a nice person. I'd give him 5 stars if I could rate him. That's for Hollywood since I know you read these and you'd like to know how staff is performing. I would have expected him to be more aggressive like the police were but he was actually really good and extremely polite given the situation. That's 1 positive you have going. Man we were having a great time too. I was with 50 other people including 2 of my kids and countless other family members. Hollywood you soured the night for a bunch of us. Haven't been to boogie nights or the casino in a long time. All in all, it's a great place to go to, and my advice is, if something happens, get as far away as quickly as you can because you're getting kicked out if you're near the wrong person. Enjoy and keep safe! I added 2 more stars since we were having a great time before the incident and I did win a fair amount of money.

We enjoyed our visit to the Creation Museum. It is a very detailed museum with beautiful exhibits. However, I feel like this is just a one time visit attraction. I would not visit this museum multiple times. The animals were underwhelming, but that make have been due to cold, foggy weather on the day of our visit. The best part was the gardens and the Christmas lights. The lights are beautiful and so are the grounds, even in winter. I can’t imagine how beautiful the gardens must be in the spring and summer.

Loved this place. Very informative and well built. The garden in front of the museum was beautiful. The food and ice cream sold were also good. The museum itself was very informative and realistic. The planetarium and the 4D movie theater is definitely not to be missed. I recommend buying a combo ticket if you plan on visiting this place and the ark encounter which is about 45 minutes drive from here.

My visit to the Creation Museum in Kentucky was a truly enlightening experience that touched my heart and mind. As I explored the exhibits, I was deeply impressed by the thought and care put into each display, which seamlessly blended science, faith, and history. The museum's compelling presentations challenged my existing beliefs and encouraged me to think critically about the origins of life. It was a journey that left me with a profound sense of curiosity and wonder. The planetarium shows and the beautiful botanical gardens were personal highlights. They added a hands-on and immersive aspect to my visit, allowing me to engage with the museum's themes on a deeper level. 🌱🌌📖🤔

We enjoyed the museum and gardens. A lot more reading than I expected. I'm dyslexic so too much reading is overwhelming to me. In the exit survey I recommended they add an audio tour, possibly an app you can use to listen to what's in the exhibits. All of the staff was really friendly. We were there during the 40 days and nights of music and got to see a great band and a very funny Christian comedian.

This place is amazing!! From the very time you step foot on the property you know this place is special. The property is well maintained and very scenic. There is so much to see. Every exhibit is detailed and leaves no doubt that God created man. The 4D movie "6 days" was beyond words. You are right there during each day of God's creation. You feel the wind, the water, the breath of the animals, every part of his majesty. Words are not enough. We ate at the cafe' for lunch. They have a wide assortment of hot and cold items to choose from. As you navigate through each exhibit you will see such detail. We spent over 6 hours reading and watching and did not quite finish. The staff are friendly and helpful. Thank you Ken Ham for honoring God through this wonderful ministry.

The Creation Museum was fantastic we went to the light exhibit for Christmas and the museum. Parking was easy and close. Plenty of bathrooms. But the definitely have it all laid out really well. The 4D theatre on creation was good too. Great story. Each exhibit was well done. Jesus and the Cross exhibit was a bit of a let down. I was expecting way more... it was only photos on the wall... BUT... It was still impactful to read the texts. I recommend families go. Young Kids are free and we got our family of 8 in at 159 dollars. It was fun. Parking is 15 dollars or 10 at night.

Simply amazing! So much more than what I was expecting! The displays are truly world-class, and the exhibits blend science, history, anthropology, and so much more through the lens of scripture. The experience is absolutely faith-based, but unlike other museums, the Creation Museum is not afraid to present both sides of the story and empower individuals with information to make their own decisions. You can visit best museums in the nation (DC, NY, Chicago, etc) but this truly outshines them all! The live presentations and 4-D video experiences were one of my favorite parts. The botanical gardens, sculpture, zoo, planetarium, and other bonus attractions are also delightful!

This was a great experience for our entire family. It may be a little tougher with younger children only because there is a TON of reading exhibits. Don’t get me wrong, the information is definitely interesting and everything was presented with excellence. Definitely make sure to visit the planetarium and 4d theater. The animal exhibit was unimpressive but the grounds and overall experience was well worth the money.

The creation museum is an absolute must see especially if you are visiting the Ark encounter as well. There is so much to do inside and outside it kept everyone in our family entertained! We were also able to feed our family of five for $28 at the Noah Cafe. I was shocked because where can you feed your family of five for $28, especially being out? Wow. They also have souvenir cups for $19.99 each that have unlimited refills that you can use at the creech museum as well as the Ark encounter. My personal highlight was seeing the dinosaur that had original bones in its skeleton as well as the original skull still intact! Just cool to see something like that. Another highlight for us was the different speakers and activities that they have scheduled throughout the day. We bought the 3-day pass that went between the Ark encounter and the creation museum and every day you come they hand you a schedule of the events of the day which was nice! There's a beautiful botanical garden and lots of areas to walk as well as a small zoo and fun animals to see. We sat outside for awhile and watched people zip line across the property, also a fun thing to see! We bought the 3-day pass for the Ark encounter and Creation museum and ended up going to the creation museum one day and the Ark 2 days. Our kids are 8,6, and 3.5 and this is what they preferred and we were wanting to do that too. So much to see and do, you can easily plan to stay a whole day here.

It's interesting, but not very child friendly or interactive. There is a lot of reading, and the large summer crowds made it difficult. The Planetarium is $9 per movie, or 2 for $14. Line up early to not get stuck in the front and/separated from your group. The movies are short and just okay. The arboretum is beautiful, definitely worth the walk. The moving bridge is so much fun! My advice is to walk this early before it gets too hot. Overall, the museum was very educational and worth visiting!

This is my first visit to the Creation Museum, and I was very impressed with the quality of the exhibits, the friendliness of the staff, the availability of quality food and plentiful clean restrooms. Easy parking too. Some reviewers said you could get through in half a day, but this is not true. You really need to spend the entire day to take in the full experience. There’s so much to look at and a variety of events to attend throughout the day. This is a good family experience with a lot for kids as well. It was a very enjoyable experience and the botanical gardens are lovely. We visited the Creation Museum first, and the Ark Encounter the following day.

The Creation Museum was a wonderful experience. We did the Ark Encounter a few years ago, but did not have time on that trip to also do the Creation Museum so this summer we planned another drive north from Florida to Kentucky specifically for the Creation Museum. I particularly loved the way it explains dinosaurs and the age of the Earth. As well as the views of science from a Creationist standpoint versus and evolutionists view. Fearfully and Wonderfully made was a beautiful exhibit. A bit shorter than I expected, but very well done. I did have some explaining to do about what abortion is to my 9 year old son based on that exhibit. There were several areas of the museum closed off. We were expecting it to be a full day and we were finished with everything in about 4.5 hours. The price is high for adults, but admission for children was free. It’s a hard location to find- a lot of single lane backroads and not many signs. Thankfully the GPS routed us there alright. I give the Creation Museum a 5 star because of the content and how well it was done. I was more impressed with the Ark Encounter and would visit that area again.

We loved this museum more than we thought we would. Honestly we just went because it was joined to the Ark and we traveled so far. But we are sooo glad we came! It was fun, moving, educational and beautiful! Highly recommend! Spend all day there!

The family and I went here as part of our trip to The Ark Encounter. The Creation Museum is a sister attraction of The Ark Encounter. Not only can you learn about the creation of just about every living thing but they also have botanical gardens, a planetarium, petting zoo, shows, a couple of restaurants, gifts shops and more. We spent the whole day here. It was educational and fun.

An extension to the Ark Encounter. This place was phenomenal! So much to see and learn. I suggest visiting here before the Ark to get a better understanding for little ones or new to the experience. From the 4D show to Noah's Cafe, EVERYTHING was amazing. Staff was super friendly and helpful. 5 STARS!

Wonderful experience and much to learn and ponder about in regards to spirituality. Adults and children will both enjoy this experience. Make sure you have at least a half a day to explore the museum and it’s grounds and more if you want to ride the zip line and sit through all of the video attractions. Food for a single adult (entree, side and drink) will run about $20. Overall is a must see.

Had a wonderful time here. Just happened to visit on Fathers day and their special allowed free entry for Dad's plus kids 10 & under were free. There was so much interesting info to see and read about. Not so great w/an active 2yr old but we made due till the playground and animal expo. Easily spent about 5hrs (not including lunch) and had a great time.

Amazing educational fun filled weekend! Great way to teach your kids and grandkids about who God is and how great he is! A must see as a package with The Ark Museum. Because of the hrs it's best to this one last. Very informative and gives a perspective on his way and the world's way. Highly recommend

As a lifetime charter member, our family comes back often from Canada. The updates they've made over the past while are amazing, and the exhibits have in-depth detail. Give yourself a full day at the Creation Museum to take it all in, and another full day at the Ark Encounter. Plan to take in the live presentations too - there's a lot of great information that they present, and it is 100% relevant to today's culture.

Loved this place! The exhibits are top notch and very informative. We loved the planetarium and 4d theater shows too. Would love to go back again. It's a lot to go thru in one day. Hopefully they improve the zoo area, it was under renovations, because it was lacking. Their sister site's, The Ark Encounter, zoo was great. I highly recommend visiting both and learn the truth about God's Creation.

The Creation Museum is an amazing world class attraction! We went through the museum and stayed for the Christmas lights. I love the botanical gardens. Everything is designed to make you think about the things that matter. It is a must-see for believers but done in a way that will not offend non-believers.

Just came back from visiting the Creation Museum with my 4, 9, 11 year old kids along with my husband and mom and her husband. They have interesting exhibits that speak to all ages along with 4D movies about Creation. It was so cool to see creation so well animated and love how they always tie in God’s purpose and plan for us. They really drive home the Gospel message and Jesus sacrifice and love. My older kids were at good ages for this and really absorbed everything. It’s done at an intelligent level but not overly wordy so the kids can grasp it too. We came probably 15 years ago with no kids and they’ve added and improved so much. Sadly the petting zoo was closed, though, but it was too cold to venture outside anyway. Worth a visit! Prepare to believe!

This is our place we go when a kid finishes up kindergarten in our family I love seeing all of the exhibits my favorite one would probably be the fearfully and wonderfully made one it definitely can change people's perspective on that topic. I also think it's cool that when you walk into the building you immediately see Adam and eve the first humans. Definitely a place you should take your children . This place tells the biblical truth and compares and contrasts the biblical truth with the evolution. This place will change the way that you look at things for the better. You and your family should really check this place out today.

This museum is wonderfully done. The exhibits are exciting and plentiful. We spent 6 hours walking through. There are lots of shows to take in, some 4d some in the really cool planetarium. You won't be disappointed. I learned so much about God and God's creation.

Unique museum presenting the literal biblical timeline of the story of creation. Multiple detailed interpretive displays beginning with the creation of the universe and following the timeline of history from the biblical Christian perspective. The museum & grounds are generally open from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. However, during the holiday season the Christmas Town event is open until 8:30 pm and includes an amazing Christmas light display throughout the gardens surrounding the museum. There are fire pits & snack vendors and limited access to the museum for warming up. A planetarium is available for two different shows at a nominal extra fee. Two additional auditoriums have shows & videos as part of museum admission. Two indoor food vendors and a coffee/ice cream cafe all inside the main museum. There is also a coffee shop inside the welcome center. I would like you to return during growing season, as I can imagine that the botanical garden is quite spectacular in Spring. Parking is convenient to welcome center, so no shuttle needed. Petting zoo is undergoing major construction, so exhibits are limited. Plenty of restrooms throughout.

Love it here! Our kids enjoyed looking at everything and really enjoyed the Christmas lights walk. Spur of the moment decision to come and we are glad we did. We haven't been in almost 10 years. They've updated a lot of things and they've made things easy to walk through. Most things are accessible and signs are played where it's not. Note: steep prices!

The creation museum is a wonderful display of creationist thinking rooted in a biblical worldview. I interacted with a number of people who love God and were so kind that worked there. There were several exhibits that demonstrated with evidence and clarity the biblical worldview of creationism. I hope that more people can come and visit. There was an exhibit all about life and the fact that we as humans are fearfully and wonderfully made. It was colorful and beautifully designed.
