Hartle, Millie
Millie Eileen (Frey) Hartle, age 76, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, died peacefully surrounded by her family at the Kobacker House in Columbus, Ohio on Thursday, May 24, 2018. She was born near Upper Sandusky on July 11, 1941 to Albert and Viola (Kelbley) Frey who preceded her in death. On February 19, 1966, she married D. Terry Hartle, who survives in Upper Sandusky. She is also survived by her children, Michelle Hartle Honer of Hilliard, Christopher (Kim) Hartle of Hilliard, six grandchildren: Hans, Hannah and Halle Hartle, Gretchen and Rutger Honer; and one step grandchild, Katelin Honer; two brothers, Eugene (Jean Ann) Frey, Upper Sandusky, James Frey, Columbus; sister, Margie Bumb, Tiffin; two sisters-in-law, Ruth Ann Frey and Martha Frey, Upper Sandusky. She was preceded in death by two brothers Willis "Willie" Frey, Richard "Dick" Frey and sister Mary Ellen White. In 2004, Millie became founder and President of Lady M Ltd., a bridal veil and accessory business with a design studio near her home in Upper Sandusky. Her desire to own a bridal shop, along with her daughter, led to the purchase of Paper Occasions in 2009, a bridal boutique, located in Historic Dublin, Ohio, which now specializes in Wedding Gowns, Custom Veils and Custom Wedding Invitations. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 11 am in The Basilica and National Shrine of Our Lady of Consolation, 315 Clay Street, Carey, OH.
