Ferrari-bound Lewis Hamilton has been loved equally on the grid as Charles Leclerc. However, the highly decorated career of the 39-year-old seems to make him look like a better driver. Pierre Casiraghi mentioned that he had met the seven-time world champion multiple times. Additionally, the Monegasque king’s nephew claimed that he loved Hamilton’s driving and thought of him as a ‘nice guy’.

I love Lewis' driving skills and I met him a few times, and always thought he was a nice guy.

However, despite his love for the Briton, Casiraghi was clear regarding his support for Leclerc. The 36-year-old claimed that he was ‘fully rooting’ for Leclerc. Additionally, the Nephew highlighted that he had ‘no space’ for Lewis Hamilton to support. Hence, the Monegasque driver has a lot of support from his home crowd for the 2025 season at Ferrari.

But I'm terribly sorry, but I'm going to have to be fully rooting for Charles. There would be no space for Lewis for me.
Pierre Casiraghi declared.

David Coulthard ‘torn’ between choosing Lewis Hamilton or Charles Leclerc at Ferrari

Deciding which driver to support between Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton will be a tough choice for everyone. Hence, even former F1 driver David Coulthard had difficulty in choosing one driver over the other. Coulthard reckoned that he was ‘torn between’ selecting one driver over the other. I'm actually torn between wanting to see Lewis establish that eight title and wanting to see Charles (Leclerc) get a world championship.

Apart from this, the 53-year-old mentioned that he met Leclerc’s entire family during the Miami GP. Coulthard added that the Monegasque’s mother used to cut his hair when he was a child. Hence, all things considered, Charles Leclerc was one of the most famous race drivers in the world, driving for the iconic Scuderia.

I think the whole family, I saw Arthur the other night, his brother. His mom used to cut my hair. I think they're just a lovely family, and so understated when you consider he is one of the most famous race drivers in the world driving for one of the most famous teams in the world.
David Coulthard concluded.

Hence, the matchup between Leclerc and Hamilton will be highly exciting at Ferrari in 2025. The 39-year-old could potentially compete for his eighth world championship with Maranello. The Monegasque has been looking highly promising since the beginning of the 2024 season. As a result, the clash between the two drivers will be highly exciting.
