Despite the largely positive reviews that Hijack garnered during the period that it aired and even after, there was considerable doubt about the thriller returning for season 2. Following the confirmation of Hijack season 2, there’s been a lot of speculation regarding who could return within the cast. While nothing has been confirmed yet, it is likely that Christine Adams and Jude Cudjoe, both of whom played Sam’s ex-wife and son respectively, might feature in the new season. Also, Archie Panjabi and Max Beesley both played pivotal roles in season 1, and it is likely that they will also be reprising their roles in the new season.
