last year we walked the Hongu Loop - part of the Kumano Kodo walk.

as we were looking for accommodation with private facilities (bathroom + toilet) of which there aren't many in that area - we discovered a wonderful new guest house.

It is just outside the little town and transportation can be arranged for if you don't have your own (rental) car.

The owner Yuichi and his wife are excellent hosts and the accommodation itself is uniquely authentic !
