Speaking on the love received, Vicky said, "I don't feel that pressure. Infact, I feel so much gratitude for so much love coming in, and I want to take this opportunity to thank the media and audience for the response. The credit goes to the people who made this film. I am so thankful for the response that this film got, especially when everyone was saying it won't do well. Experts were saying that this film is not for theatres, it is for OTT. From Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, it has been such a good run for every film. Every film is entertaining people, making them laugh and cry."

He added, "What Gadar 2 is doing is incredible. It is such a great feeling that every film is being celebrated. That is also my prayer. Hoping the same for The Great Indian Family. This is also a family film and something which we can all celebrate and rejoice."

The actor further said that now he doesn't think that content driven movies are just for OTT. Speaking about the success of some recent releases, Vicky said, "I think that has changed. I would say till three months back, small-scale content driven movies were not working. However right now, Dream Girl 2, Gadar 2, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Satyaprem Ki Katha, all have done well and the content of all these movies is so different from each other, the scale is very different, the budget is very different but it is still connecting with the audience. So once again, thank you to the audience for making us have faith in ourselves again. It is only because of the love of the audience that we get the strength to bring forward the stories we want to tell."
