Robert Dudley Obituary

Robert Lee Dudley of Sarasota FL passed away August 16, 2012. He is survived by his loving wife Martha Honey, his beloved son Cesar J. ("CJ") Rebellon, PhD., step-daughter Dana Schulze, 4 step-grandchildren and his niece Pam Beck. He was the youngest of six children born to Charles and Lucy Dudley in Liberty Township, Butler County, Ohio and having been raised on a dairy farm, he had a keen love of nature and wildlife.
Bob served in the U.S. Air Force for 23 years having received many commendations, honors and awards for his achievements including the Meritorious Service Medal and the Joint Commendation Service Medal. During those 23 years, Bob spent time in Korea, Vietnam, Japan, Hawaii and other places in the Far East. He also spent 12 years at Strategic Air Command Headquarters, Offutt AFB in Nebraska. After retiring from the Air Force, Bob settled in Colorado Springs prior to moving to Florida where he met his wife, Martha Honey.
Bob lived life with gusto and he approached any new experience with great enthusiasm and interest. His wonderful sense of humor and generous, tender heart brought tremendous joy to his family and friends. He will be enormously missed by those who knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bob's name to Tidewell Hospice. A celebration of Bob's life will be held at a later date.
