Nestled in a prime location, the Sheraton Fallsview Hotel captivates many guests with its stunning views of the falls, which are often considered worth the price despite some grumbles about extra charges. While the hotel's cleanliness and lively atmosphere receive applause, a few visitors have reservations about the noise level and suitability for children. The service quality appears inconsistent, with experiences ranging from commendable attentiveness to frustrations with elevator wait times. Additionally, the plethora of nearby attractions and restaurants adds to the hotel's allure, even as some guests cite room maintenance and noise as minor setbacks.

We had a beautiful weekend at the Sheraton. The room was on the 19th floor and the view of the American and the Canadian Horseshoe Falls was unforgettable. The Falls at night while they are lite up will be a memory that you will never forget.
Starbucks as soon as you enter the building on the left!
Check in was very quick, since we arrived early they put our luggage in a room so we could walk around and wait for the call telling us our room was ready.
While staying here you can also use the Crown Plaza pool and hot tub, just go to the Crown Plaza and they will give you a card to enter.
We have stayed here before and will return.

We traveled to Niagara for a one-night gathering with some close friends. We all have children so we thought we'd give the Sheraton on the Falls a shot because they have access to a "great" waterpark. We were told upon booking that check-in is at 4 pm however, you have access to the waterpark as early as 1 p.m. I understand we attended this hotel on a very busy weekend, however, I have also attended other "waterpark" hotels on busy weekends and it wasn't a complete disaster as this one was.
My friends arrived early to try and get rooms close together as there were three families meeting... They were in the line up for an hour and a half! the hotel efficiency process of checking in is horrible. After checking in they explain how to get to your room and how to "trek" to the waterpark
There is a multitude of elevators however the wait is long and most of the time very congested. If you'd like to go to the waterpark, you must take an elevator to the lobby then walk through the hotel, through an arcade, thru another hotel (Crowne Plaza) , then wait in another line for another elevator, or walk up 9 flights of stairs..then you have arrived at the waterpark.
We made the mistake of booking the "no view" room which feels very similar to a basement. NOTE - this hotel's lobby and hallways were renovated recently however these rooms were NOT... We ended up on the sixth floor. In the early hours of the morning and throughout the evening, you can hear everything going on in the hallways, so if you are a light sleeper this place isn't for you! The beds are extremely uncomfortable, the rooms ventilation system is not much better...
The waterpark was very packed and you can often find many children wandering as they have lost their parents in the mayhem!
Would never stay her again

Dear Anthony L, Thank you for choosing us for your family's vacation to Niagara Falls. We regret the disappointing stay that you described. During the busy holiday season, things can get pretty crowded here with families wanting to take advantage of the Winter Break from school and work. We apologize that the long waits for elevators and the congestion within the hotel's public areas took away from your enjoyment of the trip. We are disappointed to hear that the room that you requested did not meet your needs as well. We do have a variety of room types and sizes and we are certain that we can help you find a room that will be perfect for your family's next visit to Niagara Falls. We hope that you will reconsider and stay with us again. Zach Guest Services

Sheraton on the Falls is well situated to all the various activities that Niagara Falls has to offer. We were in Niagara Falls to celebrate our 24th wedding anniversary. We arrived at the hotel around 1:30 p.m., checked in but got our room only at 4:00 p.m. The staff does not readily explain how the parking works. It is a frustrating situation to self-park at this location. Our room was adequate. Housekeeping is slow and our room was made in the early evening during one of our three day stay. The economical Sheraton needs to improve its hospitality. We did have dinner at Massimo's Italian. This was a very enjoyable evening. We were lucky enough to have a table with a view of the Falls.

I specifically chose this hotel because of its location on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls and it’s spectacular views. This hotel charges a senseless $15 a night “resort fee” that basically covers the local WEGO bus and an outrageous $40 overnight self parking fee. Still, since I am a lifetime Titanium BonVoy member, the concierge lounge looked especially appealing and inviting and decided to book here anyway. What a mistake!
The room was not ready at 2 pm and we were told we’d be contacted by phone as soon as it was. Sure enough, at 4:01 pm we got a text the room was ready for check in, 4 o’clock being the official check in time. Next time, I will request an early check in.
My reservation was originally for three persons sharing a two queen room and my young nephew decided to join us at the last minute, so I changed the reservation to 4 persons. When we checked into the hotel we were given an unusual Sheraton Club card that says access is for only 2 adults and 2 children to enjoy their lounge offerings and space. The first evening, three of us adults went to the hors d’oeuvres and cocktail hour and were confronted by a concierge gatekeeper who attempted to enforce the adult/child ratio. The lounge was not busy and maybe had half a dozen people inside. When I expressed dismay at this arbitrary rule a manager appeared. He told me the management of this hotel decided that when the hotel has full capacity, they restrict access to the lounge so as to make the experience as pleasant for everyone by limning the amount of persons occupying space in the lounge. I have never heard of such nonsense and explained from my perspective, the policy was doing the exact opposite.
The concierge made us feel unwelcome, humiliated and embarrassed. What real difference does it make if two adults and two children occupy space rather than four adults? My sister and nephew eat like a bird and are quite well behaved, I assured him. Especially during cocktail house, would you prefer four mature adults lounging about rather having two children running amok? Unyielding, the concierge said we could pay $50 for each additional adult for access to the Sheraton Club if we liked. What we wanted was to be left alone to enjoy our evening’s hors d'oeuvres and cocktails and instead left without either. Needless to say, we decided to check out a day earlier after being treated with such disrespect, consideration or reason regarding the silly Sheraton Club 2 adult/2 children decree.
Perhaps this is a Sheraton rule, as I usually stay at Marriott branded properties. Maybe it's a Canadian issue, although Canadians are some of the friendliest people on the planet. Whatever the origin or cause, this hotel’s Sheraton Club 2 adult/2 child restriction is unwarranted, incomprehensible and contrary to the basic rules of hospitality.

Went to Niagara Falls with my wife, daughter and father in law and mother in law. Due to platinum status, was provided complimentary breakfast for them for their room while we got lounge access. Hotel is great for kids. Besides a pool and water park at a connected hotel near by, it is also to a nice arcade connected to the hotel along with being steps away from rainforest cafe. Hotel gave us adjacent rooms facing the falls which was great (see pics :)), early check in and late check out along with valet parking at the same rate as self parking. The pool was slightly cool, which is the only downside but you get used to it. Great stay and hope to do the same vacation later in the year!!!

UK traveller and first time to Niagara Falls. We stayed for 3nts in early December and had read some mixed reviews but can honestly say we had a wonderful experience. Check in was welcoming and swift, no queuing. We were directed to the lifts that took us to our room on the 17th floor. We did
not experience any queuing for the lifts. Our room was lovely. We booked a premium falls view and were welcomed with 2 Queen beds, a fridge, digital safe, freeview tv, fireplace, seating area, free water, coffee machine and fast free WiFi. The bathroom was adequately stocked with towels and toiletries and also had a hairdryer and had a whirlpool bath and shower. But what made the room extra special for us was the floor to ceiling windows, Juliet balcony and the view of the falls. Amazing! The Sheraton was also in a great location for all the attractions and amenities of Clifton Hill. The hotel itself had a Starbucks, restaurant, bar and gift shop, but we preferred to sample the local restaurants for breakfast and dinner. We checked out on a Saturday when the hotel was busier, but again this was swift and hassle free, we were not inconvenienced at all during our stay. Overall we had an enjoyable and comfortable stay and won’t forget that view in a hurry! Thank you Sheraton!

We came here as a weekend getaway during COVID. We had always wanted to stay here, so we took advantage of the cheaper room rate.

We stayed 2 nights in a high level Fallsview room. The view was fantastic.

The room could use a little sprucing up, it’s starting to look very dated. We would have been very disappointed with the room had we paid full price. The shower was very small.

There was no cleaning service offered during this time, which was fine with us.

Parking - we decided to park at the hotel vs down the street. This was in the valet section, but without the valet service. There was no reduction in price to account for the lack of valet.

Resort fee - we were still charged the full resort fee (approx $15/day) even though the only amenity that could be used was the WiFi. The pool was closed, the bus pass wasn’t usable, neither was the beer tasting that is normally part of the resort fee package. Perhaps a discounted resort fee (or none at all) would have been more appropriate during this time.

Overall the stay was average. We wouldn’t stay at this hotel again, for the price they charge.

I’d like to start out by complimenting the valet, breakfast buffet/ restaurant staff. Waterpark and other tourist trap activities all on site and make an overnight easy activity wise.
Now for the poor review:
Hotel advertises “kids eat free” and have dinner buffet. Checked in on a Thursday night, restaurant closed. Only their tiny Italian restaurant was open, certainly not kid friendly. The hotel room had a bad odor, carpet used and abused, furniture soiled and black in areas and looked to be 10+ year old motel furniture(orange). I stay at Marriott properties all over, am a “bonvoy” member - certainly this property fails to live up to the Marriott standard. Did I mention check in took over 20 minutes due to being poorly managed / under staffed? A dozen check in kiosks, one employee checking in. What’s the purpose of online check in if I still have to wait?! Not happy, I’d suggest staying at the buffalo Marriott downtown or Amherst which are much cleaner, updated properties. Extremely disappointed with Sheraton NF

Check-in was chaotic and disorganised. No check-in service for Elite members. We had booked a very expensive suite for 3 nights and at 16:00 it was still not ready. You have a choice during check-in to opt for a "green" choice for housekeeping and recive a $5 Starbucks voucher or proceed with normal housekeeping services which I requested. The next day we did not get a visit from housekeeping and when I enquired I was told we had opted for the green choice. I clarified the situation and was assured this would be corrected. Unfortunately on day 2 we had the same issue and when I raised the concern I was told my a Manager that I had requested the green option. I again had to clarify the situation and when the service was completed it was done poorly, dirty glasses left, no vacuuming. Etc. I was also notified that Suites (@$400/night) do not get any priority for housekeeping services so they come during the day whenever. You don't even get a couple of bottles of water/day!
Front desk staff attitude during my questions/concerns was lukewarm and no onsite parking which you still get the privilege of paying $35/night.
Overall impression: nice view but not worth the price.

The "views" just determines which way you face or which side of the building you are on. I personally think that the American Falls view is the best value. A great view still but less than paying for the Canadian falls view.

I heard conflicting reports about using Uber. Some people said that they would only take you as far as the border and then you would have to walk across. We used Buffalo airport taxi and they picked us up at the airport just outside baggage claim and drove us directly to our hotel on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls Buffalo airport taxi. That’s the business name, Buffalo taxi cab service, was less than $100

Never stayed in the Bi-Level rooms. Have always selected Niagara Parks View and the view has been quite good. The higher up likely the better the view and the less the city noise.

You have access to the rooftop pool, with your keycard. No reservations were needed, only if you wanted reserved seating for fireworks. When we were on the rooftop pool, we did see kids accompanied by their parents.
