We had a wonderful experience dining here and I do emphasize '"dining" as we felt like we were in Europe enjoying the perfect meal. We sat outside in the cozy patio on a chilly night but we noticed the inside dining room was very well appointed and comfortable as well. The four of us had the price fix dinner which was spectacular and so reasonably priced for the the number of courses. I had the meat set menu and my partner had the fish. Both sets started with a wonderful cauliflower soup with no cream that was hot and tasty. After that we were served a wonderful and generous dish of four meatballs that were out of this world. The fish set was served an amazing burrata that was to die for and we shared both dishes which could have been enough for dinner but more was to come. Next the meat folks were served a pasta dish with pork in the best sauce with freshly made pasta that was crazy good. And that was followed with a roasted suckling pork dish which is a Sardinian specialty and a first for me. A huge portion and plated with a very special bread/cracker from Sardinia and the best raw carrots I have ever had ( i am a real carrot person and these were certainly farm to table). The fish folks at a seafood fast on pearl pasta that was also perfect. I also want to give a shout out to the owner and our server who was so flexible. Often on a price fix meal they won't really substitute but one of our group is gluten free and they easily accommodated. And the attention to detail was just incredible. Almost like a fine dining experience but I loved the Sardinian informality of the place. Our server pared our meals perfectly with great wine suggestions. The last course was delicious light lemon pastry in a wonderful sauce that wasn't too sweet or tart and our gluten free friend was treated to some gelato that was kindly substituted. Be sure to park in the City structure across the street as Culver City is quite busy or ask the restaurant in advance where to park so you don't waste time. We noticed so many guests were sharing the most delicious pizzas which must be a Sardinian specialty as well and we are going to try to get back there in the next week to try those as well!

Sardinian restaurant off the beaten path. Came here for dinner with a friend around 8pm on a Sunday and had no reservations, but were easily able to grab a seat. Indoor and outdoor heated patio seating available. Credit cards accepted. Menus are on QR code and they do Covid contact tracing, so you have to fill out a questionnaire before ring able to look at the menu. They provide complimentary bread. Service was slow and forgetful. They forgot about my friend’s wine and didnt bring it out until we checked in on it and even then, they didn’t bring it out until we were halfway done with our food. They do have vegetarian options and the potato pesto pasta I had is a good option for that. Ambiance wise, it’s a quiet spot that’s off the beaten path.

Now that we are back, I can say that our best meal on this LA trip was here. The location can be off-putting since it is hidden behind Culver Blvd in a residential area with parking on the street. I met the personable Sardinian owners -- they own both the resto and the coffee shop adjacent. The space is simple elegance with clean lines and lots of light. Outdoor seating is available. I had the linguine fergola, a Sardinian dish of pearl pasta and pork -- so savory and good-portioned. My wife had one of the two Sardinian raviolis -- in tomato sauce. She loved it. All of this was accompanied by water pour espresso -- perfecto. We would definitely return to try more options at this quaint resto.

Our group of 5 ate lunch at Carasau, to celebrate my wife's birthday. We each ordered a different main course, and we all absolutely loved the food! I can strongly recommend either of the ravioli dishes (Ravioli Saffron or Potato Ravioli), which are Sardinian specialties. The cauliflower soup appetizer was delicious, as well. Even the simple mixed green salad was great, as were the various desserts we ordered. Three of us enjoyed some great Sardinian wine with our meal. Our server was knowledgeable, made great suggestions and was very attentive, so service equals food quality. We will be back, and we will recommend this restaurant to all of our friends!

Reasonably priced. Outstanding food, creative Sardinian/Italian cuisine. Convivial. atmosphere what more can you ask for. One of the best restaurants I’ve been to in the LA area. Located right down the block from the Culver City Hotel.

The food is really outstanding. You absolutely need to try the Fregole Mediterraneo style....Everything is good but...prices need to be lower. Appetizers run for not less than $25 and , pasta plate for almost $30 and main courses for $40 and up...we are not in an upscale restaurant with limo outside and incredible decor inside., the place is very simple and small. I would like to see the prices be in the same line as the "casual" atmosphere of this place. LA need affordable real food . I am afraid they risk to be overtaken by other restaurants in the area which are much more appealing and to tell you the truth....if I would need to choose between them and this one for a date....I would probably skip this one.

Party of 4 adults and a 10 year old dined on the patio on a Saturday night. Made a 7:30pm reservation and had no issues. The patio has tons of heaters and is really well done, so great venue. This would be a great date spot or parents-night out place. Service was also very good as there is only Sardinians doing service which is great for a Sardinian restaurant. We asked to have all the Sardinian specialties and even did a nice bottle of Sardinian red wine. Overall the food was good with nice presentation. Meal started out amazing and then the entrees were good but not at the same level in our opinion. Appetizers -------------------- Moscardini of baby octopus in a brown tomato sauce (one the highlights of the night) Fregola Salad - Really amazing and filling Mains ------------------- Malloreddus - Pork sausage pasta with saffron and fennel was nice Culurgiones - Potato ravoli was just okay Napoli Pizza - Great taste but a touch under cooked Kids Pasta - Daughter got just a penne & cheese pasta (and it was the best thing in the night) Did some gelato and coffee/cappuccinos (great cafes). Total with tip & tax was $250.00. Tip: Parking is a pain around the area but we pulled into the hotels valet across the street, just gave the guy a big tip and there was no charge!
