A horror-action film is seeking a gore effects makeup artist to work from August to September in Shasta County. The artist must know how to create the appearance of skin being punctured by impact. Pay is $2,000–$4,000 for three days of work.

“The Definition of Happiness,” an Australian documentary, is looking for a camera operator to work on set on Sept. 11 in LA, Sept. 15 in Boston, and Sept. 18 in NYC. Pay is $300–$500 for three hours. Travel is not provided.

“Be Careful Who You Talk To,” an independent 50-minute horror film produced by an upcoming woman writer/director, is searching for a DP. The film will shoot in the first week of August in L.A. Pay is $250 per day for an estimated five days of work.

A branded workout video is seeking an art director to communicate the identity of a new fitness brand called Golf Fit. Golf Fit seeks to find an art director who can help them accomplish their mission to set themselves apart from other fitness brands through the video with creative staging and visuals. The promotional video shoots Aug. 31–Sept. 4 in Santa Monica. Pay is $75 per hour for five days of work.

Fashion Stylist: Social Media Ad Campaign

A social media ad campaign for nail design stickers is seeking a fashion stylist. The fashion stylist will find wardrobe looks that match the nail designs. The shoot will run in an outdoor studio in Fullerton, with pay offered at $300–$500 for eight hours of work.

“She Goes to Hollywood,” a comedy film about a talented African-American woman living in Pasadena, who aspires to become an actress in Hollywood, is searching for an assistant director. The film shoots from Sept. 2–-Oct. 11 in Pasadena and the Hollywood Boulevard area. Pay is $100 per day.

“Privacy,” a non-profit biopic dramatic musical, is seeking a wig designer. The film will host rehearsals and run the shoot in Las Vegas with dates TBD. Applicants must be willing to travel or drive to the shoot. Pay is  $50–$100 per day, with meals provided.

“Stranger,” a five-minute thriller student film, is seeking an editor. The editor will need equipment to edit and color-correct 6k footage and be prepared to work from a hard drive. The job will work remotely. Pay is $200. IMDb credit will also be provided.
