Phyllisia is a 100% independent recording artist and entrepreneur, running and operating her own music production company, Phyllisia Ross MIZIK, contracting hundreds of other artistic creatives and businessmen and women from around the world to bring her visions to life.  When she is not on the road performing or running her music businesses, she enjoys lecturing at elementary schools, universities, non for profit organizations about turning artistic gifts into profitable businesses.  Phyllisia is a passionate philanthropist and humanitarian, advocating for immigrants, public health, artists, women, and children through her music and ambassadorships with United Nations’ system organizations International Organization for Migration, United to Beat Malaria, and Haiti-focused non for profits Hope for Haiti and Project Medishare. She has been recognized for her contributions by MIPAD, Most Influential People of African Decent, and granted a Congressional proclamation by Florida Congresswoman Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick in recognition of her contributions as a Caribbean American artist. Phyllisia also has a degree in biology (obtained while touring and performing!) from the University of Miami and entrepreneurial ventures in beauty and fashion with her own natural beauty line, Phleur Serum, and Afro Caribbean clothing line “the Phyllisia Ross Collection” a boutique clothing line partnered with Diella Designs.
