Schaumburg High School is by far one of the best high schools in the Chicago land area! The school has an amazing set of staff, unique students, and helpful resources. Not only is the school located next to our community police station, but there is a whole team set on keeping the school safe. The food in school is reasonably cheap, and good for the price! The lunch staff are extremely creative and when I first walked into the cafeteria I opened myself up to many different lunch options. My personal favorite department is the Math department. They’re always enthusiastic, and excited for us to learn. Many students are able to graduate with basic or above basic Calculus skills, even if you start high school with Algebra 1. The math department makes sure we are prepared for not only our course’s tests, but also for state testing like the PSAT, ACT, and the SAT. Our school has several different facilities, a pool, gyms, workout rooms, and many more! Schaumburg high school is amazing!
My experience at Schaumburg High School has been pretty great! I think you definitely get out of it what you put in. The courses are super interesting, engaging, and reasonably challenging so if you really try to devote yourself to your academics, i think you’ll be super prepared for college.
Your time at Schaumburg High School is what you make of it. Every year, there is at least one graduating student who attends a top university for their major, so it is perfectly possible to succeed at this school. Perhaps most importantly, students can take as many AP courses as they want. However, if they choose, students can also be disconnected from their school and community without much serious pushback.
