Karan Johar introduced 14 new directors who will be helming under Dharma Productions' films.

Karan Johar today announced his collaboration with 14 new directors who will be helming films for Dharma Productions. The production house has been in the world of Indian entertainment for 40 years. The filmmaker shared a video to make the announcement where he is seen talking about the collaboration. All the 14 directors can also be seen posing for a stylish photoshoot in the video.

WHAT DID KARAN JOHAR POST?

Karan Johar shared a video on social media to announce his collaboration with 14 new directors. In the video, which also shows all the 14 directors, Johar is seen sharing insights into the values held by Dharma Productions and introducing 14 directors who will be helming different films from various genres. He wrote, "Over the last four decades, #DharmaProductions has groomed over 20 directors who have honed their skill set over the years to create magic on the big screen, and now #TeamDharma is all set to usher in a new age of cinema with 14 young and talented storytellers joining the Dharma family."

He added, "Their modern perspective on cinema will bring in a new era of content, spreading across the mediums. Be it theatrical or digital, our new roster of storytellers are ready for it all. The #DirectorsOfDharma have many stories brewing in their kitchen, and I can’t wait to see what they bring to the table. Stay tuned! (sic)."

The directors introduced by Karan Johar include Collin D'Cunha, Sharan Sharma, Raj Mehta, Bhanu Pratap Singh, Paras Chakravarti, Vivek Soni, Amritpal Bindra, Anand Tiwari, Karan Singh Tyagi, Anubhuti Kashyap, Shazia Iqbal, Pushkar Ojha, Sagar Amre and Kayoze Irani.

DHARMA PRODUCTIONS' PROJECTS WITH THE 14 DIRECTORS

Dharma Productions has a long list of upcoming projects, many of which have already been announced. Collin D'Cunha is directing Kartik Aaryan, Janhvi Kapoor and Laksh Lalvani-starrer Dostana 2. While Sharan Sharma directed another Janhvi Kapoor-starrer Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl. Raj Mehta has directed Good Newwz, starring Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani. Bhanu Pratap Singh is the director of Vicky Kaushal's Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship. The Dharma Productions films with other directors will be announced soon.

KARAN JOHAR ANNOUNCES FIVE NEW NETFLIX PROJECTS

On Wednesday, Karan Johar announced five new Netflix projects as the streaming platform revealed its slate of Indian projects for 2021. The director-producer released a video to announce the upcoming projects. These include, Finding Anamika, Ajeeb Daastaans, Meenakshi Sundareshwar, Searching For Sheela and The Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives 2. Karan shared the video with the caption, "It's a big day for #TeamDharmatic! We're super excited to announce 5 new projects under the @dharmaticent banner, coming soon on @netflix_in!"

Karan Johar is expected to make more announcements in the coming days.
