After Black and Saawariya, Prakash Kapadia writes screenplay for a Marathi film

Post writing the screenplay and dialogues for Bollywood films like 'Devdas', 'Black' and 'Saawariya', writer Prakash Kapadia has made his debut in the Marathi film industry with 'Katyar Kaljat Ghusli'.

The film is an adaptation of the play by the same name and will have actors Subodh Bhave and Mrunmayee Deshpande playing prominent roles in it. Subodh, who is also directing the film, said, ���������We are lucky to have Prakash on board. He has done a great job which is a given, considering his body of work.���������
Prakash, on his part, is very happy to be a part of the project. He said, ���������Converting the script of a play into a film is challenging as cinema is a bigger canvas. This was our effort to bring the field of classical music in front of a wider audience.���������
