Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) - Healing painful experiences and memories from the past
Dissociation - Our brains and nervous systems have an innate ability to protect us from distressing experiences. At the far extreme, our minds may dissociate aspects of the experience completely. While this technique is adaptive in the moment, it can have unwanted consequences as time goes on and inhibits our ability to live in the present moment.
Infant and maternal mental health - Focusing on developing healthy and secure attachment relationships between mothers and infants.
Mindful Parenting - Helping parents with their own issues within the context of supporting children
Complex trauma - Overwhelming responses in the present as a result of past experiences such as physical, emotional or sexual abuse, neglect, growing up in a chaotic or stressful family)
Sex and sexuality - Sexuality is an essential part of our human experience. I enjoy working with clients to enhance their connection to their sexuality. All sexual orientations, genders and gender non binary identified persons welcome.
