Where is Yasmine Bleeth now? The Baywatch star lives a secretive life with her husband in Southern California

Yasmine Bleeth is an American former actress who gained fame for playing Caroline Holden on Baywatch. Bleeth’s performance career started when she was ten months old in a Johnson & Johnson’s No More Tears baby shampoo television commercial. Five years later, she appeared in the hidden camera reality show Candid Camera.

Bleeth’s appeared in her first film role aged 12 alongside Buddy Hackett in Hey Babe! Yasmine appeared in several episodes of Ryan’s Hope before the soap opera’s 1989 cancelation. Bleeth’s role in Baywatch gave her widespread fame, as it did all the other stars of the series.

In December 2000, Yasmine checked into Promises Rehabilitation Clinic to overcome cocaine dependence. 

“I never expected to get into drugs,” Bleeth told People. She revealed that her dependency started as a social habit, but rapidly advanced into something serious. Drug use made her increasingly isolated and forced her publicist to come up with excuses for her bloody noses. 

“And if I was sniffling, my publicist would tell people I had sinus problems, which I do,” she said. She couldn’t hide the weight loss, however, and in July 2000, she collapsed during a photo shoot. 

After her release from Promises, she hit a roadway median in Detroit while high. She accepted a plea agreement involving two years probation and submitting to regular drug tests. In April 2003, Yasmine wrote an article for Glamour titled Back from my Drugs Hell. Her last on-screen appearance came in the 2003 TV movie Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding. 

Yasmine and her husband Paul Cerrito met at Promises. “They say you shouldn’t get into any relationship in the first year of sobriety – especially with someone in the program, but Paul and I fell in love immediately,” Yasmine said. 

The couple married in Santa Barbara, California, on 25th August 2002. By then, she’d put back 20 pounds and was on her way to recovery. She accepted the fact that ‘consciously trying to stay off drugs is now part of my life and always will be.’

Bleeth and Paul live a secretive life between Southern California and Scottsdale, Arizona. She rarely makes public appearances, but in February 2020, she was spotted walking her dog in California. She looked very different from her famous Baywatch character. 

Yasmine looked happy and even smiled for photos. The Mirror wrote: “She wore a pair of strappy Birkenstock sandals and flashed a coat of red nail polish on her toes. Her locks were worn in a messy ponytail, and she appeared to be wearing minimal makeup for the casual outing. Yasmine was seen taking her pooch out on a lead and even smiled for photo.”
