Update: Johnson County teen found safe, non-custodial mother in custody, TBI says

Update: A Johnson County teen has been found safe and her non-custodial mother is in custody, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said Thursday morning.

Lilyana Cook was found safe and Steffany Hamner was taken into custody.

An Endangered Child Alert has been issued out of Johnson County.

The TBI said that 14-year-old Lilyana Cook was last seen on Wednesday morning in Mountain City.

Authorities added that Cook could be with her non-custodial mother, Steffany Hamner.

They added that she may be headed to Colorado. Hamner is wanted by the Johnson County Sheriff's Office for custodial interference.
