Notre Dame high school let me become who I am and express myself. I was able to make friends with many of my classmates and be friends with people in other grades as well. The sports there made me feel like I was a part of many families that I could rely on all the time. The teachers were also very supportive of their students and wanted to make sure everyone succeeded. They were also very supportive of student athletes, students with jobs, and other extracurriculars.
I really enjoyed my time at ndhs it offered a very great learning environment. It had a community feeling and made some great friends from my time there.
Overall a great experience there. If you want to participate in clubs, sports, theater, music... there's something for everyone. The teachers are overall great and make time for their students to help, or re-explain, or just listen if you're having a bad day.
I overall enjoyed my experience at Notre Dame and had a great relationship with most of my teachers. After administration changed a couple of years ago I noticed that the teachers became a lot more unhappy working there and many left. There was also a lack of addressing issues that arose and they often shut down things that did not align with their views, such as forbidding students to protest against major social justice issues that they believed in.
I have had great bonds with many teachers at this school, and it has certainly prepped me for college. The downside of this school is the major workload alongside teachers that are not super helpful all the time, so the work is ten times more confusing due to lack of resources.
Notre Dame is an amazing school that has been an integral part of my teenage journey. I've been challenged in ways I have never been before, and have been taught principles that I will continue to keep with me for the rest of my life. The best parts about this school are the academic challenges that push you to grow stronger as not only a student, but also a person. I pushed myself like I have never done before at this school, and my mind is always motivated to keep striving for my best. I've learned to be more punctual about my work and responsibilities, and appreciate the work that my teachers do Although many of my peers are lovely and I have made some unforgettable connections, I would have to say that some students' attitudes towards others at school are the worst parts of my experience. It's a shame to say that many people at my school are disrespectful to not only our peers, but our teachers. If anything should change, it should be the rash manners of overprivileged students.
I love Notre Dame because of the wide range of opportunities it provides its students. I can delve deep into the world of television production or computer science all while having a very good student-teacher ratio. The school also fosters an incredible environment where many students, such as myself, feel like they have a place in the Notre Dame community and are very well connected to the student body at large as well as staff and administration, despite its large size.
Overall I really enjoy being at Notre Dame. I love the school spirit, the sporting events are always fun. The teachers are usually pretty good and friendly. The main problem I have is some of the administrators that work in the office have been unfriendly to me and often dismissed me only to speak to my white friends respectfully.
The best high school experience! The Notre Dame school spirit, especially during pep rallies and spirit week, is truly unmatched.
I love the environment of this school. The teachers all genuinely care, and the students are all kid to each other. The events and traditions are awesome and super fun.
Notre dame is an exceptional college preparatory high school in the San Fernando Valley. Notre Dame works hard to prepare students for the rigor of the college life while also having sports and school events that are to die for. Notre Dame is like a second home with staff they care deeply about their students and want them to succeed in every way. Students have no fear that they are in the wrong hands because there’s always someone to help with all the problems and support them in anyway. Wow the school itself is very hard it is proven successful with all the kids that make it out and into the world.
The positives about Notte Dame is some of my teachers were enthusiastic about fostering a learning environment for us to grow academically. The school also provides many extracurricular activities to grow outside of the classroom.
Some areas Notre Dame can improve upon is the student body self-segregates and puts people in boxes, creating the outliers to feel isolated and alone. Furthermore, some of the classrooms are old and out of date for modern learning environments. They need to distribute some funds in updating their classrooms.

I love Notre Dame high school. I have been here since I was a freshman, and with every year, I feel that I have grown academically and socially!
It felt really inviting and welcoming. I felt that I was really appreciated as a student as well as the part of the community!
My high school is great. It’s a private catholic high school that is welcoming to everyone. They strive to be the best academically while also being relatable with the students. Being a Catholic high school there is diversity and inclusiveness to the students. Although I have complained that it is hard academically, I know the school is preparing me for college and life ahead. The school is a really good community of students, teachers and families. I am happy to have been a part of Notre Dame High School.
This is the worst institution on the planet. When I graduated from Notre Dame, I thought I was straight and wanted to be a doctor. Now I am queer and studying film and sociology. I have a fervent passion for guitar, social justice, and storytelling. In high school, I was "passionate" about getting As and making it to the weekend so I could party until I forgot the pain of the week. Notre Dame taught me nothing but damaging values. It suppressed me in every way possible and prevented me from figuring out who I was. It created an academic environment that was so competitive, I thought letters characterized my self-worth. I cared so much about grades that I spent no time doing things I was actually passionate about: things that would actually get me into college. Notre Dame is so academically toxic, for 0 reason. The smartest kid I have ever met went to UCLA. With a 4.3 GPA, I barely got into my target schools. If you care about anything important, do not step FOOT on this campus!! EVER.
Notre Dame definitely prepared me for college in the best way. It was academically challenging enough for me to be able to still get good grades and be very prepared for the college world. The social atmosphere was based very heavily on groups and people staying in their groups, but as we all got older that began to fade. I complained about school like any other kid, but I am grateful for the opportunity to go to a school that prepped me perfectly for the college world. My only wish is that classes like economy and American government be offered earlier and with more detail into the inter workings of being an adult individual in the US.
