Plot – A Private War is a biopic about the brave war reporter Marie Colvin, who worked for the British magazine The Sunday Times from 1985 to 2012. The movie tells the story of her fearless commitment in documenting reality in countries at war such as Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya, a commitment that lasted up until she turned 56, when she was sent to report on the Syrian war.
