came to add chips to our collection
payout odds are not so good. wife had fun but had little to no payouts. at the end I broke even. what really pissed me off is being charged 20 bucks to park. kinda stupid for a casino that wants people inside

    Fun time
Had a bit of fun at the casino…first tile there for me so I signed up for the momento card and received $10 in free chips…many slots to choose from. Shared dinner at the deli which is located inside the casino, as portions were huge. Shared poutine and a chicken breast on a bun….delicious. We had to wait in line gor a table but made small talk with a couple behind us. People ahead of us but all two’s, so when the seater asked for table of four, we took the table with the other couple and were seated quicker.

    Nice Casino And Fun Slots
Came back to Niagara Falls for the second time this year and had to stop in the casino, as we missed it last time! Brought a friend from Edmonton with us this time and she had fun and so did we. Lots of fun slots, as we don't really play any other games. Had fun and would probably go again

Better than last time but lots of room for improvement
Wrote a review a few months ago which was much worse. This time it helped I knew what to expect. First and foremost, the parking situation continues to be completely unfair to guests. When you enter the self park garage, the rate is posted. Lets say its $25. That does not matter at all. What matters is when you leave. Since the parking rates change by time of day, and day of the week, you do not know your parking rate until you leave the casino. I am still dumbfounded they find it ok to do this. However, I knew this coming up there and checked in advance to make sure we had parking in our players card.... which we did. Without it, I am not sure we would come. What out us over the top coming up on this trip was na offer for free show tickets. We absolutely loved the Terry Fator show. Stayed at the casino resort for 2 nights. I really liked the new sports bar. Deli is disappointing. Without a reservation, you won't be able to eat at ponte vecchio. I had the noodle bar late at night and it was good as always. Took my daughter to swim at the pool both days and she had a great time. However, you have to bring towels down from your room which are already placed in the hotels rooms. They have no towels at the pool. One of my biggest issues with the casino gaming offerings is that they no longer have the poker room (been gone a few years), and more importantly, there is now one dice game but it is electronic and uses no chips. People clearly do not like playing electronic craps. The table limit is $5 and the table was empty or near empty each day I came. I absolutely love to play craps but will not play the electronic version. This was clearly nothing more than a way for the casino to pay for less dealer staff as the electronic craps only needs one dealer, as opposed to normally needing 3 dealers. Last, I played a total of about 3-4 hours of poker and about 2 hours of pai gow. For my play I earned $1 in comps. This is not acceptable. We plan to make a visit back in the summer with our family but I am not sure I will play much more than what I played on this trip.

    Meh
I was here for a concert at the Avalon Theater, and the theater is very nice, and it was a nice place to spend the day for a concert. That being said, with Niagara Falls being a tourist destination, you can tell this place has seen better days, and it really needs a revamp. From the outside, it's incredibly dumpy, and it looks like they built it in 1987 and have never taken care of it since. As far as the casino, it had nicer stuff that I can't get closer to home, like digital roulette and the big wheel. Restaurants were meh, and I just decided to eat in the food court, which is basically in a basement, and the wifi doesn't work down there. I didn't stay overnight, so I can't comment on the hotel part. This place has the potential to be amazing, and is really just mediocre. And parking was $35!

This was one of the few places we went whilst at Niagara, This is a large multi use complex. We visited the shops a restaurant and i went in the casino and could not believe how large the gaming area was.

So disappointed with what the casino has become. We haven’t been in a while and understood that management had changed and that there was no longer free parking with a PAC card, however what we were not expecting was to pull in on a Tuesday evening at $15 and leave on a Wednesday morning for $50!! The price you pay is the price on exit. Why the hell is the price $50 on a random Wednesday morning when it was $15 less than 24 hours before!?! What a rip off!!

I haven't been there in over a year. At the time I reserved comp tickets for a show, my account also indicated I had free parking. Naturally I went to park where I had always parked, using the Murray street entrance. I expected to swipe my card, the gate would go up, and I would park.

This is not what happened. Instead, I get a message on the screen indicating I am not allowed to go through that gate. An additional message said "do NOT back up. Ring the buzzer for assistance".

So I did. I rang the buzzer and waited. Waited some more. Rang the buzzer again. Waited some more. Meanwhile, several cars are lining up behind me. A man in one of the cars gets out and tells me I should back up and go through the other gate. I told him "The sign said I should not back up. It says I need to ring the buzzer and wait for assistance." It was a solid 8 minutes before I finally conceded to NOT follow the CLEAR instructions. Eventually I backed up. I didn't want to make all those people MORE angry than they already were.

This was VERY EMBARRASSING. If you are going to say "do not back up. ring the buzzer and wait", then you better have someone answer the buzzer PROMPTLY. SHAME ON YOU for allowing this to escalate into a very embarrassing and inconvenient situation.

Since Fallsview Casino and Casino Niagara have been taken over by Mohegan, they have aggressively gone after almost every slot machine in the place to dramatically limit payouts and bonus rounds, and ensure you will lose up to 99.9 percent of the time. We were frequents players for 19 years and, recently, have watched as, when we won something on a machine, it went dark the next day for some period. When it comes back online, it never pays a substantial amount again. So they have capped the chance of a win. It will cost you $40, $60 or more dollars to play and finally you get a bonus round where you win $3 if you are lucky. Seeing a jackpot being paid out must mean someone was betting $5 or $10 a pull but that is a rarity. Let me say it again, a jackpot (Over $1,000) is a rarity. They announce they have paid out some large sum but it is, at best, disingenuous and at worst an outright lie! They are putting together all the minor wins of .20 cents or $1.00 that you get during a game and lumping them as payouts so the total is something huge like $30,000. They don't tell you they took in twenty or one hundred times that amount. When I heard their announcements they they paid out X amount, I went round to slot attendants we know and questioned them about these payouts. I got rolling of the eyes, a laugh and cryptic remarks such as:" I must have been in the bathroom for those wins." This from their own employees. When I remarked to another attendant that they must be getting a lot of tips that night, he gave me a puzzled look. From all the jackpots, I explained. Again the eye roll and shake of the head. They are phasing out the lower betting slots and bringing in higher minimums. They have ruined Fallsview as a fun place, unless you like to get drunk and shout and scream and act the fool which is a frequent occurrence on weekends. They seldom throw people out for that. They just liquor up patrons, charge them $50 for parking and send them back out onto the streets to drive home. Most of our local friends seldom go to Fallsview or the other Mohegan-managed one any more. The greed of Mohegan management is unprecedented. And they are no longer policed by any gaming commission such as OLG. They are allowed to police themselves according to a recent newspaper article in their local paper. (Talk about the fox in the hen house!) Many of our friends now go to Seneca Niagara casino, seven minutes away (unless heavy traffic on bridge) which, so far, has better payouts. But you need a passport now. Don't be intimidated, the US and Canadian border people are really nice and your dollar goes a lot further. If you are inclined to travel to Fallsview to play, instead, give your dollars a salute as you flush them down the toilet and save the gas money for something else.

After COVID Fallsview introduced a new "rewards" program that is a disaster !
You can barely accumulate enough points to exit the parking lot for free and the points expire the day you accumulated them.
The buffet price has seen a substantial increase.
Many of our friends have stopped going to Fallsview as a result.
Executive management need to revisit their decisions.
A past Fallsview "regular"

I have made many reviews on casinos and this review is based on my Feb visit.

The casino has been busier and sometimes packed during my last few visits.
The new sports bar is amazing. The casino certainly has a lot of awesome decore and great vibe, it is 1000% better than Woodbine or any casino run by Great Canadian or Gateway. This casino is run by Mohegan Sun one of the best operators.

I do have some negative things and comments to say about Fallsview but in general with casinos in Ontario. They need to do better with their RTP percentage I bet you most slots are around 88% do yourself a favour and go to YouTube and watch a video on RTP and educate yourself on this is a must when playing slots. Need more jackpot slots. Stay away at all costs from movie theme slots. These are leased and they have to pay royalties so RTP is very poor. Not to say there is never a big winner but there rare and you will bust fast. If you want to just play for entertainment go online and play in free mode why spend money where you don't have to? Btw online casinos you can find many slots higher than 94% RTP

Taking the buffet away is a huge mistake in my opinion. There are still signs in the casino showing Buffett why were they not removed or covered up? Even if they ran at a loss it brought people in and added to the experience but they ruined that when they more than doubled the price so you can see why they had to close as nobody was going and food was better if you went to McDonalds. You have to give more to get more why do you think Vegas casinos rack in billions?. Better choices, better comps, better service all around and that's why I take 90% of my business to Vegas and Atlantic City if your regular gambler trust me you are treated very well even just across the border at Seneca. Ontario casinos have a long way to go to be able to compete with the USA.

The new casinos being built like Woodbine and Pickering are very poorly designed and look like you're in a warehouse. I missed those days of bells going off and hand pays, now so rare today.

Getting a beer you're treated like a child. You can't order more than 1 at a time so if your partner wants one they have to be present and you're only allowed 1 an hour. Imagine they tried doing this at Seneca or Vegas there would be no Vegas. If I'm with a group of friends we go to Seneca where we can be ourselves and not be controlled how much and what we are allowed to drink and drinks are free across the border.

For some like myself who come from Toronto, the casino becomes a bit boring if few new changes. One thing I hate is the water fountain coming into the main entrance by the casino and hotel. That used to be an awesome fountain with electricity shooting off from the top now they just cover it u and most times looks terrible although I have to say the way they decorated for the Year of the Dragon was well done but reminds me of buying a treadmill after awhile we stop using it and just throw cloths on it. Wish they up their game and put more into the ambience of the building. If Ontario had any chance of a Vegas-style casino Fallsview has the potential.

The place needs more affordable food choices and the mall needs some new life brought into it as well the outside.

I wish the casino would make me want to spend a week there other than going to Vegas but think we are a long way from getting there.
