The teachers are very supportive and helpful. I enjoyed my experience here because I met many cool student that I became friends with. Although, there is one thing I would like to address , there is a severe vape problem in the restrooms . Several girls enjoy vaping in there and they never get caught. I believe this is unacceptable and something should be done about it. I recommend smoke detectors to be installed in the bathrooms because I don’t enjoy having to smell the vape flavors . That’s the only thing I see wrong at MBHS. Other than that, the community at MBHS is quite well. I took advantage of the music program and took band for a school year. I enjoyed learning music and having support from the amazing Mr.B. I also enjoy the teachers and student relationships, several teachers are very close to their students and ask them about their wellbeing . Especially my math teacher Ms Vadnai. She makes me laugh and is a pretty cool teacher. but she will be moving to France . MBHS ROCKSSS
As a Latinx first generation student, I have received immense support from fellow Latina faculty during my junior up to my senior year of high school. However, during my first two years at the high school I felt extremely disconnected as I noticed that most of the teachers and students at MBHS were caucasian. The school lacked in explaining to colored students about the resources and clubs that could connect us with students with similar experiences as us. But during my junior year I became more informed about the few Latinx faculty on campus, they shared so many resources with me and their encouraging words drove me to continue being a trailblazer student.

For example, there is no consistent grading system among all the teachers. In some classes, 85 can be an A; in others, it can be a B. There are also many issues with
