Actor Renoly Santiago, known for his work in the movies Hackers, Dangerous Minds, and Con Air, will join MMA Crossfire – Live! this Sunday May 5.
Santiago, 50, was born in Lajas, Puerto Rico and spent a lot of his childhood in Union City, New Jersey, first came to prominence at 18 years old with the TV show CityKids. After co-writing the show’s Emmy-nominated pilot episode, Santiago made his movie debut as Raúl Sanchero in the 1995 movie Dangerous Minds, which starred Michelle Pfeiffer.
That same year, Santiago appeared in Hackers as “The Phantom Phreak” Ramon Sanchez and in 1997’s Con Air as Ramon “Sally-Can’t-Dance” Martinez.
Santiago is the second figure associated with Dangerous Minds to appear on the show. LouAnne Johnson, the actual teacher that Pfeiffer played, also appeared on The Crossfire’s previous show TKO Countdown, in 2021.
