Make sure you take time to visit this museum if you are in Stratford Upon Avon. The main monument and the four Shakespearian characters outside it, as well as the gardens and waterfront, make for a lovely spot. Saw lots of children posing with the different characters and asking questions of the adults with them - also it is free, so a bonus. Nearby there is the tourist information centre, where you can buy tickets for the hop on hop off bus, Shakespeare Guildhall etc and they are really friendly helping with maps etc. Also from the monument you can walk through the parks and look for some other statues as you walk towards the Royal Shakespeare Company building, the market (if it is on) or just to walk along the river bank.

On entering the gardens you are faced with this imposingwell maintained memorial with Shakespearian characters dotted around it.

The Grower monument is also surrounded NHS series past smaller statues. Beautiful location on the banks of the river. Nice photos.

Well worth a visit here when you're in town. Really good sculptures of Hamlet, Prince Hal, Falstaff and Lady McBeth in a nice setting by the water.

It’s always nice to see a memorial that hasn’t been badly tampered with.
The Gower Memorial stands nice and proud in Bancroft Gardens, which might I add were looking wonderful, and it was a privilege to spend a few minutes there taking everything in.

Мемориал Гауэра расположен в садах Бэнкрофта с 1888 года. Мемориал состоит из литературных персонажей произведений Шекспира (Гамлет, Леди Макбет, Принц Холл, Фальстаф). А в центре на постаменте восседает сам драматург.
