Boz was just hitting his peak with silk degrees. Many thought that Down two then left was left overs. Listen to it again. It could have been a double lp and every cut a jem. What a great CD to put on with a female freind.
One of Boz Scaggs best albums recorded near the beginning of his career launch of a number of collective hits. I would highly recommend this album as a listening measurement of the high standard of his musical talent.
This is a great album! Got to see Boz once so far, great showman, who puts on a great show! Wish he would come to Georgia more often! The cd is like new, with all the album art.
I have been listening to Boz since days with the Steve Miller Band, surprised I remembered that. A true professional I enjoy some of his newer stuff even more, as he has honed his sound to something unique. Boz has been an artist pleasing us for so long we tend to take him as part of the fabric of male vocalists. I like Sinatra, Tony and all those with class. For me if Boz or Willie or Bob release a product I buy it. This was something I had passed by years ago it was offered dirt cheap, some of it is the mastering, did not make the grade. But if your a stranger dig in and enjoy a soulful ride. There is the "Boss" and there is "Boz" you don't hang, a handle like that if not worthy.
This brought back so many memories. I couldn't wait to hear this once again as I had lost my CD/ album collection during Hurricane Sandy. Nice listening.
I love the Boz man and this will be another disc to add to "the collection"....The price from a seller is the hook...less than $3 plus the ship....I'm not sure of the sonic quality....so I will UPDATE...July 7th 2013... Not my fave....sound is known as ER....(early remastering) D-range is rather weak as is the material itself. I gave 4 stars out of respect for the body of work from Mr. Scaggs....
