Among the 26-man squad is the teenage brother of a Love Island star, a talented young midfielder so intelligent he could have become a 'rocket scientist' and a red-hot forward with the seal of approval from actor Danny Dyer . The Three Lions will kick-off their Euros campaign in Germany against Serbia on June 16, with many of the stars likely to be joined by their girlfriends and wives. Southgate will be hoping that his England side can build on the success of the last Euros campaign, where they made it to the final at Wembley - only to be defeated by the Italians.

An evil mother who abused her baby son so horrifically he had to have both his legs amputated is back in jail after 'having a fling with a sex offender'. Tony Hudgell, now nine, suffered multiple injuries, organ failure and sepsis at the hands of his mother, Jody Simpson and her partner Anthony Smith when he was just six weeks old. The pair were jailed for ten years back in 2018 but Simpson was released last February. However, Simpson is now back in prison after breaking her strict licence conditions by having 'a relationship with a convicted sex offender', The Sun has reported. Tony's adoptive mother Paula from West Malling, Kent was notified of the update last week.

Ruth Langsford's friend has 'revealed real reason' she split from her husband Eamonn Holmes, according to a new report.  The Loose Women presenter and the broadcaster, both 64, announced their plans to divorce last week after 14 years of marriage and 27 years together.  Now, it has been claimed a pal of Ruth's has said she was left 'devastated' when she discovered 'messages from another woman' on Eamonn's laptop.

One of the most poignant moments of this week's D-Day 80th anniversary commemorations came as the actor Martin Freeman recited the words of veteran Joe Mines (Second Battalion, Essex Regiment) in Ver-sur-Mer. The Queen looked tearful - and she was not alone. It was the first time that Mr Mines, aged 99, had returned to the place where he and many departed comrades landed that fateful day. Too infirm to speak himself, he had charged Freeman with that privilege, and the actor read beautifully, while Mr Mines looked on. 'I was 19 when I landed, but I was still a boy,' he wrote. 'I don't care what people say, I wasn't a man, I was a boy, and I didn't have any idea of war, and killing.'

Tennis star Emma Raducanu has split up with her billionaire boyfriend Carlo Agostinelli and has cut ties with him on social media after the whirlwind love affair 'runs its course'.  The couple were seen arm-in-arm at Paris Fashion Week in September - confirming their romance. They have reportedly been dating since May last year when the pair first began appearing on each other's Instagram accounts. However, sport sensation Emma, 21, and her 23-year-old boyfriend have unfollowed one another on Instagram, The Sun reported.

Noa, 26, was among four captives rescued by Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) troops during a fearless raid on two Hamas-controlled buildings in the Nuseirat refugee camp earlier on Saturday. Dramatic footage showed her being loaded into a helicopter wearing a flak jacket and a protective helmet - as three other hostages held in another building were rushed to another waiting chopper following gun battles with their captors. She was quickly reunited with her father Yakov, with whom she was finally able to celebrate his birthday. But within hours rushed to the Ichilov Medical Centre in Tel Aviv to see her mother, Liora Argamani, who has stage four cancer.

Dr Clare Bailey was concise and to the point. She noted that it had been three days since her husband - the Mail columnist and TV doctor Michael Mosley - 'left the beach to go for a walk. The longest and most unbearable days for myself and my children'. Words that were all the more powerful for being unfussy and shorn of hyperbole. Not that anyone would have blamed her for drifting into sentimentality. Not in her state of mind. As it was, the word 'unbearable' semaphored the pain, offering a window into Dr Bailey's nightmarish new reality. One minute her husband was at her side on a charming Greek island and all was right in their world. Then suddenly he was gone.

The incredible moment Taylor Swift fans can be heard from miles away has been caught on camera as the pop icon performed at the first show of the UK leg of her Eras Tour in Edinburgh. For the past two nights, Taylor Swift put on her iconic silver Louis Vuitton boots and dazzled 73,000 Swifties at Murrayfield stadium.  In a video posted on social media, fans of the American megastar are singing along to her newest album's part of her 46-song-long set list.

Costing more than £250,000, Taylor Swift's tour wardrobe is one of the most expensive in pop history. On the first UK date of her Eras tour, she showcased 13 outfits - her lucky number - including two new ones thought to cost more than £10,000 each: a blue frock, and a yellow top and pink skirt combination by Roberto Cavalli. Other stage clothes are custom made by couture labels including Versace, Vivienne Westwood and Zuhair Murad, while she has at least ten pairs of shoes and boots from French designer Christian Louboutin, famous for his red soles, again specifically created for her. But it seems few of the exclusive designs were created with the British weather in mind as the 34-year-old megastar visibly shivered during her opening show at the Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh on Friday. She was even forced to stop as the winds became too much during the acoustic section. With her hand frozen into a claw position, she was unable to play her guitar.

Doctor Who made history on Saturday night as it aired its first ever same-sex kiss.  Fans praised the 'electrifying chemistry' between Ncuti Gatwa and Jonathan Groff as they smooched in a groundbreaking move for the show, which started back in 1963.  Episode six of the series took on a historical theme, with the Doctor (Ncuti) and his companion Ruby Sunday (Millie Gibson) take a trip to 1813.  

An Albanian mobster serving 32 years for murder is filming TikTok videos from his prison cell begging his followers for cash - despite sporting a £550 pair of Dolce & Gabbana trainers. Gangland killer Eugert Merizaj, 33, appears to be using a banned mobile phone for his online prison appeal which was uncovered by The Sun on Sunday. Merizaj spoke to self-branded 'King of Instagram' and fellow Albanian Kozak Braci in one video last week filmed inside HMP Manchester. 

A mother who was found dead next to the body of her disabled daughter after they had both lain undiscovered for months had asked shops for frozen pizzas on credit and had no heating, according to locals. Alphonsine Djiako Leuga, in her 40s, and her teenage daughter, were found by police in May after 'concerns were raised' about their wellbeing. Nottinghamshire Police previously said the bodies had been left 'undiscovered for quite some time' and do not believe the deaths were suspicious.

Phoebe Dynevor put on a loved-up display with her fiancé Cameron Fuller as they enjoyed a romantic yacht trip in St. Tropez on Thursday.  The Bridgerton star, 29, went topless as she soaked up the Mediterranean sunshine during the couple's holiday. Phoebe, who played Daphne Bridgerton on the Netflix series, wore a pair of blue denim shorts and a patterned bikini top.

The young African mother's last moments must have been terrifying. With her tiny daughter Beatrice tied in a shawl on her back, Masiya Banda was chased across a field by a rampaging elephant which then trampled her to death, tossing the child like a rag doll on to the sun-baked ground. The charging beast had arrived at Masiya's Malawi farm in a herd from a nearby national park where 263 elephants were sent to live less than a year earlier. Playing a key role in the relocation were two charities, International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW), which helped finance the move, and African Parks which helped execute it and where Prince Harry is on the board of directors and is a former president. Masiya's distraught father, 55-year-old Ngoma Banda, blames both the organisations for her death near the park last June.

Julian Wood, 3, (left) was stabbed to death and his mother Margot, 38, (inset) wounded after Bionca Ellis, 32, spotted them at a Giant Eagle supermarket in Cleveland, turned, and followed them out the door (right). Less than six minutes later, Julian was bleeding to death on the parking lot asphalt as a badly wounded Margot pleaded with paramedics: 'don't worry about me'. Much of those minutes of terror from 2.58 to 3.04pm on June 2, and the chilling scenes that came before and after, were laid bare on newly released CCTV and police bodycam.

The model, 21, who is the daughter of Kate Moss, showcased her jaw-dropping figure as she slipped into a burgundy bikini while soaking up the sun on the Spanish island. Letting her blonde locks fall loose down her shoulders, Lila wore a gold necklace for the outing as she displayed her sun-kissed tan. 

Born on a kitchen table on June 10, 1921, he was a Prince of Greece with no Greek blood who lived through more upheaval as a child than most people do in a lifetime. The late Prince Philip, universally known as the beloved husband of Queen Elizabeth II (right, the couple after announcing their engagement in July 1947), became one of Britain's most popular royals. But he started life a million miles away from any British palace in rather chaotic circumstances. Philip was the fifth child and only son of Prince Andrew of Greece and Denmark and his wife, Princess Alice of Battenberg (left with Philip in 1926). Shortly after he was born, revolution broke out in Greece and the royal family were exiled after his father was accused of high treason. Philip was bundled into an orange crate and escaped to Paris with his family on a British warship. It was a fitting vessel given that Philip would go on to serve with distinction in the Royal Navy during the Second World War - before marrying the love of his life in 1947.
