Yo, I remember you from a question about Super Mario 3D World a little while ago. I remember you mentioning that Bowser's Fury was next for you.
Again, you're all good, bro. There's nothing in Bowser's Fury that will deny you 100% completion. I had to get some replacement Giga Bells too, and I have full completion. 👍
How many Cat Shines have you gotten so far?
I have collected 100 of them also I think I accidentally played the game a little bit wrong like getting certain sprites towards the end of the game I have gotten every single sprite at the beginning of the game like on all islands but towards the very end of the game were you collect the last couple of sprites while bowser is attacking while you try to collect the sprites some times he just stays and never leaves the only thing I did to make him leave was to collect a sprite and he would go away but I don’t know if that’s the way of trying to get rid of him I think it be wrong I don’t know and like I said about bells towards the very end of the game first final battle and the second final secret battle I lost 3 giga Bells during the fight on both of those so I don’t know if that will screw up my 100% playthrough of the game also there’s a tone of little stuff and power ups that bowser junior can paint I was wondering if you have to get all of those for 100% completion also during the final battle on the secret one I jumped of Plessy by accident I hope I didn’t spew up my 100% completion of the game also does getting all golden pipes count were the coins are but anyways those are all my problems with 100% completion I did get 100% on the game I collected all of the 100 cat sprites so I did 100% but all what I said was the things that made me kinda worry about my playthrough for 100% completion
As far as I'm aware, you just need all 100 Cat Shines to get 100% completion. That's what I did anyway, and I got the congratulations screen and the new character models for Cat Mario and Bowser Jr.
But yeah, once you have nearly 50 Cat Shines in the first part of the game, and then nearly all 100 towards the end, you can't get rid of Fury Bowser by collecting one. To be honest, I found that pretty disruptive to the game play, but that's how the game was designed. 🤷♂️
I know hiding from Bowser was annoying and kinda ruined the gameplay in my opinion but I just hope you read the message to see if I screwed something up I’m just wondering that I didn’t mess up my 100% completion but if you did read it thanks so much man
Oh, I totally did read it all, dude. Bowser's Fury is a bit more basic in its completion requirements and is only looking at how many Cat Shines you collected, so if you got all 100, then you 100%'d the game. Congrats. 👍
But yeah, if I'm honest, I wasn't keen on the whole Fury Bowser mechanic; I felt like his "schedule" spoiled the flow of the game. Like, I'd sometimes deliberately hang around waiting so I could get rid of him before starting on any tricky platforming parts, because it would be needlessly awkward to attempt those with balls of fire raining down from the sky. I enjoyed the seamlessly connected overworld, though; maybe Nintendo will do something with that in a future 3D Mario game. The actual map layout and general exploring were great too, and Bowser Jr. was a neat companion.
