Harrah’s Philadelphia Casino

The table game pit is in the center of the casino. There are two high limit salon pits. One deals baccarat. The other is home to high limit blackjack tables. High limit slots are next to this. A sportsbook and stadium gaming are on the far end of the casino. There is a video poker area where most of these types of machines are found. 

Table games

Harrah’s uses six and eight decks for blackjack. All high limit games use six decks. The others are a mix. Spanish 21 uses eight decks. At blackjack tables, the dealer stands on all 17’s. Surrender is offered. Pairs may be split into three hands, except aces, which may only be split one time. 

The limits below are what we think players will find during slower hours. Minimum bets may go up during busier hours and down during slow periods.

Video poker

Our top video poker picks are at $5 and higher in the high limit slot section. The games are 9/5 Double Double Bonus and 9/6/5 Double Bonus. The Caesars Sportsbook is open at 10am Monday through Friday and 9am on weekends. It closes at midnight Sunday through Thursday and 1am on weekend nights. Harrah’s Philadelphia racetrack

Harrah’s Philadelphia hosts 130 days of live harness racing. From April through December, standard race days are Sunday, Thursday, and Friday. Wednesday races are also held from May through August. Post times are 12:40pm on Sundays and 12:25pm Wednesdays through Fridays. Guests under 18 are welcome in the Grandstand area up to an hour before live racing until an hour after the last live race.

Simulcast horse racing runs daily, except Christmas Day, from noon until midnight.
