We had a lovely meal, our server was extremely charming and gave us great service. Gold star for her! The food was very good, as always, the small dishes overall better than the mains. We were very pleased with our visit!

Dinner in a fishmongers gets you as near to the sea and you can be. Gets better and better every time we visit. Superb food, excellent wine, full of personality and character.

The meal is very delicious and the environment is very nice , i will definitely return and recommend it to my friends. There were two hiccups > I ordered an item call half pint of prawns. I ate it and didn’t realized that it came with an extra amount of prawns too. So i was charged extra money. > the squid came with a bowl of rice, I ate it and only realised that it costs me 5 pounds when i was paying the bill anyway the restaurant is very good and I don’t mind going back again.

Nicolas is a "personnage" as we say in French. He made our evening a very good memory. First time I went there with my wife. It was a wonderful evening and the food was succulent. Merci for the lemoncielos Will go back there Boris

It was a stiflingly hot experience- there was no air conditioning in the restaurant. We sat next to a counter of fish which troubled us with many flies. Helpful staff but an uncomfortable lunch. Food was ok though.

The oysters were sublime and that’s that. The rest of our order was nothing memorable and the desserts … is a section that they need to work more.. Overall is a place to enjoy amazing oysters with good wine.

Very quaint restaurant. Owner Nicholas is very engaging. They had 3 new staff that started that day so the service was challenging. Nick jumped in after we ordered and made sure the food and pace were in order - eg, starters before main etc. La Petite Poissonnerie food is very good. The seabass ceviche was excellent, the scallop starter was a bit disappointing, not in flavor but in scale. The oysters (we shared 8) and Dungeness crab were excellent. The sea urchin linguini was fabulous. The wine list is good and reasonable priced. We tried a2018 Monnieres Saint - Fiacre Plantation 1947 Muscadet that was excellent. We will definitely be returning.

A lunch to celebrate a friends Birthday. This was probably the best fish meal I have ever had! The quirky restaurant is part fish shop with fabulous display of fresh fish and a very small restaurant. Obviously a local favourite with people popping in to buy fresh fish and prepared soups and food to go. The Tuna poke and ceviche of scallop were excellent starters. The bouillabaisse superb - you are served a huge bowl of fish soup to help yourself from along with a large dish of mixed fish poached in a mix of flavoured broth to add - alongside all the usual trimmings. Absolutely delicious and too large to finish. Along with a half bottle of Chablis c £200 bill but worth it. Only downside is the seating- primarily bar seating on high chairs upstairs and down in narrow space (not great if you are short or older) one quirky window table for four, another for one and a larger regular table. The surroundings are fun but not romantic (although downstairs maybe for younger couples) or good for business as not private but the delight is in the food and excellent service. I will be going back.

Very good produce and cute spot but slow and poor service, eg forgetting to bring cutlery alongside dishes or asking for a dairy free dessert and bringing one “with whipped cream”. Owner got progressively drunk as the evening went on which and was rude to staff in front of customers. The stairs to the bathroom had no light and were a security hazard in my opinion. Wouldn’t recommend
