The best experience at Groveport Madison High School was participating in the school's championship-winning football team, creating lasting friendships and memories. The worst experience was facing bullying from a group of classmates, which made my time at the school difficult and challenging. Both experiences shaped my high school years and taught me valuable life lessons about perseverance and resilience.
I loved my school. I had a great experience. But the school has a lot of fights. The teachers are overwhelmed due to this. The school used to be a good mix of students now not so much. It's embarrassing to go to a sports event with our school bc of the way the students behave. It's sad.
It was my son’s first year at Groveport Madison high school. We as a family wanted to our son to have a positive experience. This was not the case. The teacher are great teachers hats off to them. The administration has no significant effect on the children. Good students punished while bad students get no discipline None of them actually live in the district. Majority of the students are not held accountable by their parents or guardians. My son has been in 3 fights at this school. Since school started. We have since moved over this Christmas break back to his old district and haven’t had no regrets. He was coming home stressed out everyday feeling upset and nervous about the next day.
I think the district will have more success from a rezoning their district and this schools fights and problems would decrease. Also school has weapon detectors at the entrances of the school and into the facilities. I would recommend private school ed choice scholarship if you live in this district.
