This facility is a modern fully functional convention space. Surprisingly the wifi works just about everywhere in the massive site. The food court are is typical of event food space, meaning nothing too great and the prices for items was a bit exagerated.

I went here for the National Conference on Volunteering and Service. It was a very uncomfortable conference center in a number of ways. There are extremely few water fountains and fewer cold ones. The main hanger is quite load, even with very few people inside. The Center staff were also rather unknowledgeable and unfriendly. The on-site food selection was poor and over-priced too. I just felt the whole place was mediocre.

Once Again,The Walter E. Washington Convention Center is one of the best that I/we have been to. It is a very modern beautiful large building. This past June 2012, we attended the Nasft/Fancy Food Show during a modest heatwave (temps around 90'F +) in Washinton DC . The Air Conditioning in the entire center was delightful/cool on every day we attended. What a pleasure, very, very comfortable! Even the meeting rooms were great, clean and well lit, comfortable, cool and stocked with all the essentials, coffee, tea, ice water, etc....As for the staff of the trade show, as well as the convention center, everyone we encountered was very, very polite & professional, from the coat check staff to the concierge/welcome center staff. The entire convention center was very well lit & clean, from the public areas to the rest rooms.Very easy to get around, plenty of signs in the public areas! The convention center is Within walking distance from many hotels and/or neighborhoods, as well as the metro..taxis/cabs were plentiful rite outside the facility. Congratulations to both the Nasft & Walter E. Washington Convention Center for a Great event......Overall Rating ~ Very Good!

A free 2-day convention for families, teachers, anyone interested in STEM. Many exhibitors and presentors. Our family came home with lots of ideas and information. Recommended for 2013! Glad we brought our own food.

Large well maintained facility. Staff very nice. Plenty of Garage parking nearby. Food venues excessively overpriced. Plenty to walk to for food options

I went here for the auto show. Plenty of places to park. It’s expensive. The show was nice. But everyone I asked couldn’t help me finding the cars I was looking for. They had 3 areas of displays I was only able to find 2. Food here is very EXPENSIVE. But it’s a nice place

A lot of walking! Bioy, this place is big. It would be great if it had airport-like "people movers!" Signage was good, but in a few instances illogical! Good transportation opportunities to and throw. I'd welcome the chance to attend another meeting here.

Attending the motorcycle show this weekend. Are visitors able to grab a cocktail or beer while enjoying the event?

It's my understanding that amenities and rules and regulations vary from event to event and are set by the organizations hosting the event, not the convention center.

Marriot, and Courtyard come to mind. There are two transportation companies at the airport that can help you from the airport to the hotel. You can find them on the Reagan airport website.

The DC area airport closest to the convention center is Reagan/National. It is a quick cab ride from airport to convention center.
