Our church held our annual retreat at the Crown Plaza over the weekend of May 12-14. The hotel staff were incredible. They were very thoughtful, paid close attention to detail and met all of our needs throughout the weekend. Special thanks to Johnny the GM.
The rooms were super clean and stylish and the meeting rooms were very comfortable. We ate every meal at the hotel and very much enjoyed the quality and variety.
The only comment I would make is the meeting rooms were a bit cold but once we let the staff know they remedied the situation very quickly.
We will definitely be using the Crown Plaza again.

We recently did a staycation at the CPKE and were extremely satisfied with our stay.
When checking in we were greeted by the GM Mr Souza who was extremely welcoming. Special mention to Jen and Samson who got us checked in and delivered to our room promptly and professionally.
The room was a corner city view room on the 32nd floor, it was large and well proportioned, the bathroom was huge and had a good sized bath and rain shower, that fit my (6’2) size with no problem.
The housekeeper on our floor Ah Mei, was very nice and ensured we had everything we needed in our room.
Breakfast was included with the room, but a good price either way, lots of western and local food available. Virus precautions were in place and tables were clearly cleaned well between customers leaving and arriving.
For dinner we went up to the top floor to experience the Cielo steak restaurant as recommended by Mr Souza at check in. The view from the restaurant was spectacular, as was the food! We were kindly looked after by Jeremy, Zack and Winnie, and were visited by Simon the F & B manager who wanted to ensure we were having a wonderful meal and stay. The meal kindly included some champagne from Mr Souza as a celebration of our wedding anniversary.
We were given amazing service from the moment we checked in to the sad moment we had to leave, we were helped out by Kitling who got us in a taxi and welcomed us back soon.
We look forward to our return!

I had an urgent meeting on last Friday but my home is under maintenance which I have to find a place to attend this meeting. I reserved Crowne Plaza Hong Kong Kowloon East on 17 Dec last night and request early check-in on 18 Dec and remarked for meeting use since my meeting will start sharply at 14:00. I knew it is just on request but I arrived a little bit early, scaring about will hotel let me check in earlier than the check in time. However, the check in process very smooth and the receptionist totally understand how urgent I am. She passed me the room key and escorted me to the lift lobby, in between she informed me that she understand I need a super quiet room for the meeting so she upgraded my room to conner room. I am very surprise for the arrangement and she introduced the WiFi connection very clear which I can prepare all the things before my meeting start.
Moreover, once I open the room door I found they decorated my room and prepared Christmas cake. I have never been severed like this, OMG. Maybe I just focus on my job and forgot Christmas is coming. Thank you Crowne Plaza team warming me, I never think about it is compulsory and I am very glad to be treated like this as I know maybe the cost of the hotel is decreasing because of COVID-19, Crowne Plaza team still spending cost to surprise guest, it was an excellent stay and I am really appreciate all their arrangement.

Overall this hotel was OK and up to a point we did enjoy our stay however there are a number of things we were disappointed in which would make us think twice about staying here again. 1. We ordered lunch on arrival - as well as taking far too long for a club sandwich and fries it arrived cold, They did offer us a free drink and replaced the fries however we didn't have time to drink/eat them. 2. Because of Covid-19, the pool was operating 1.5 hour sessions for guests with a half hour session in between for "cleaning". The cleaning was literally pool staff clearing up all the towels which took no more than 10 minutes. Not sure why you were limited to only 1.5 hr sessions either, as other hotels in Hong Kong are not operating this policy. 3. We asked for additional bottles of water for the room as there were only 2 small bottles, we were advised that there would be a charge for this even though there was a complimentary mini bar. 4. There was a minimum spend in place for the rooftop bar Cielo on a Friday and Saturday night even for hotel guests which was absolutely disgusting. To be honest there are better views and better bars in Hong Kong so this cost is not justified. 5. The cost of food was reasonable however the cost of alcoholic beverages was not competitive at all and far to expensive for this type of hotel. We have had staycations in a number of 5 star hotels this year where drinks have been so much cheaper than here.

It’s my first time to visit this hotel and I have booked a club floor room as I have a 2 year old baby and thought the club lounge may give us an easy access on getting help such as free bottles of water any time or have a little evening cocktail drinks to relax a bit. The hotel official check in time is 3pm and we were there sharp. However, It took us more than an hour to check in probably due to the weekend and public holiday and after we checked in (at around 4:30) the front desk told me that their lounge access included an afternoon tea set until 5. I was very surprised for this arrangement as we just check in and then needed to rush for the afternoon tea set (where is my relaxing evening cocktail time?). And also they provided takeaway free deep fried chicken combo as the evening snack with no drinks.
They offered 2 bottles of water of 380ml for 2 adults and one baby for one night in a room. It’s just barely enough for me to make formula milk for baby. I called the hotel and they said they offer additional water with charges. The room provides complimentary coke (1 regular, 1 zero) and 2 beers. If that’s the case, why I have to pay for several hundred dollars more for the club floor room (looks like basic room has the similar room size and amenities but on different floors) plus a 30 mins afternoon tea service (incl. one drink) plus a deep fried chicken combo?
The room design is nice and spacious. The staff there were very nice too.
However, we found hair several fine hairs on the pillows, 2 hairs on the blanket, 2 long hair on the hair dryer. At 7am, there was an accident that the fuse blow up while we were sleeping and didn’t even have lights and air-conditioning on. The technician came up within a reasonable time and with a good attitude but I think the hotel room may need to be renovated.

I would definitely say that I’ve chosen a good hotel what you just paid for and my reasons are as follows: Excellent locations: the location of Crowne plaza Hong Kong East stood just next to the Popcorn shopping mall where you could get what you wanted to among different sorts of goods selected.
Secondly, the overall service standard is above average, in particular as shown from staff like Mr. Ben Yau at the front desk, Chris HO, I/C of the Chef’s Table, both of whom should be highly commended for their hard work.
Thirdly, it is a memorable stay when general guests find the room quite large and comfortable to dwell in. Of course, it is a neat and clean at all. In a nutshell, it is no wonder that I would highly recommend this 5* hotel to those who wish to book a hotel worth the price.

We have been staying at the Crowne Plaza for years and we keep coming back every time we visit Hong Kong. Besides the ideal location, the staff and service are the predominant reasons we are loyal customers. From front desk reception, restaurant, to janitorial, every staff member has been very friendly and competent. Everyone does his/her best to cater to all of our needs to make our stay as comfortable as possible.
I would like to take this opportunity to especially thank Miss Chloe Tung of the front reception and club lounge. Over the past 5+ years, Miss Tung has been helping me with room reservations, responding to my emails very promptly, looking after my needs for the family with a young child, and when special circumstances arose, she went the extra mile to help me.
I am very grateful for Miss Tung's great competence, very warm personality, and excellent professional demeanor. When there was a Typoon 8 on the day we had to check out and were not sure if our flight would be cancelled, she stayed even though it was time for her to get off work to make sure my young child and I were doing fine and could get to the airport on time. She even anticipated what we would need and facilitated without us requesting. Her hospitality was incredible and made us feel calm and taken good care of. I thank all the staff for making our stay as comfortable and welcome as could be, especially Miss Tung's professional and personable service.

We booked the room via the hotel website. It seems there is a promotion for Staycation, the checkin queue almost taking for an hour. Understand due to COVID-19 , there is a limitation on the gust entering to the swimming pool and it’s required to book a time slot in advance to enter. Horrible arrangement in the morning at restaurant, it’s a long line at 8:30am in the morning. We need to sit in the middle of road of the restaurant and too many peoples. A little concern about the hygiene and food handling given too many peoples, staffs are not enough to handle.
Otherwise, the room is really nice with wondering view from level 40. The room is generally quiet. Shampoo and bath washer are fully provided.( with nice smell)

Hotel have applied safety measurement in all of our restaurants such as all staff are required to wear surgical masks at all times and wear gloves when handling food items. This is 2nd time to stay in this hotel. Appreciated front desk to upgrade our rooms to Higher Floor and late check out time to 1pm even the hotel was fully booked. Buffet breakfast also is good for vegetarian as many choices including Chinese and Western Style veggie food. Suggest Hotel to arrange limited time to eat buffet breakfast and let the customer to do advance booking after check in to save the waiting time even the swimming pool as the first come first service is not applicable for 5 star hotel services. Appreciated the staffs of the breakfast restaurant "The Chef's Table" are very nice and quick to clean up the table for the customer. Overall is good experience and if the swimming pool can be opened until 10pm is perfect.

The location of the hotel is next to a large shopping mall, connected to a large shopping mall and a MTR station, and it is very convenient. This suite is located on the lowest floor of the hotel with access to the outdoor terrace. This floor is also where the swimming pool is located.
Although it is the swimming pool floor, it is not noisy and still very peaceful. The balcony room is separated from the floor by a door, probably a soundproof door!
The bathroom has two independent washbasins, a bathtub and an independent shower position. The bathroom is super spacious. The outdoor terrace is equipped with bamboo platforms and chairs. Although the scenery is limited, it is also a good place to chat with friends.
