- BrakiWorldTravelerBelgrade, Serbia18,060 contributionsAnkamall is the biggest shopping mall in the Turkish capital. It's little bit out of the main tourist area, but easy accessible with taxi which is very cheap.
It's a classic western style mall on several levels with many big name famous international chains, as well domestic ones.
TIPS:
- Look for "Indirim" sign on stores which means "sale",
- when returning back downtown don't wait your taxi in front, as there're huge lines, but rather walk 5 min to the main street and simply hail it.Written October 18, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I think the only problem was there isn’t any money exchange there. Generally there is this problem in Ankara and cannot find money exchange easy. From my experience I understood you can exchange your money in jewerly stores in shopping centers.Written October 14, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - CHRIS DIAM7 contributionssome interesting shops and prices but you have to be carefull for quality and real bargains you can have some fast food in top floor but not something really interestingWritten December 8, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Engin EAnkara, Türkiye188 contributionsThe straight line Gordion Shopping Mall is easily accessible by the subway.
You can enter the mall from the subway directly.
The restaurants and coffee shops that above average are located on the ground floor of the mall. The prices are yet again above average because of the malls' location at an elite neighborhood.
The most intriguing side of the mall is being not so crowded. Just perfect for just shopping for hours.Written February 6, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. if you want to change, you need to refer to the jewelry shops, which is a bit troublesome.Written October 1, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. All the stores you would need and want under one roof with lots of great eateries and movie theaters, too. Parking is easy and Newcastle is a great watering hole anytime.Written February 14, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - mlowder500No. VA1,080 contributionsDuring a recent trip to Ankara, some friends and colleagues went to the Armada Shopping Mall for dinner and to look around. It was very nice! Many stores and shops, as well as many restaurants. It has something for every one! I'd definitely recommend it!!Written May 12, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- DrSincereTravellerIzmir, Türkiye877 contributionsThis shopping mall is a moderate sized mall with convenient parking space available. It is near a large park in Cankaya. The upper floor is spared for fast food and some traditional Turkish restaurants, as usual in many malls in Turkey. Public transportation by Buses and dolmus is possible from Kizilay. The mall contains coffee shops and a bar-restaurant at the entrance floor.Written May 17, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - hamid gCalgary, Canada184 contributionsThis is a nice mall and has a great architect. I found the prices a little too expensive but worth a visit. There is no good court in this mall. FYI guys should forget their wallets at home since there are a lot of jewelry stores in this mall!Written May 4, 2014This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - polly_2000Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina877 contributionsIn my opinion Forum Ankara Outlet, like other shopping malls, is not a touristic place to be worth to visit. Since it is an outlet mall, you can find discounted prices. It is app. 10 km away from Esenboğa Airport.Written April 1, 2012This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
