- RTI have been droppin’ the ball a lot here lately, from my experiences with brand new records.
Side D has a thin, but deep scratch (at least it looks deep). It’s only maybe a half inch long & it runs the same direction as the grooves.
However, when I tested playback I didn’t hear anything but the song. Not even so much as a light pop or crackle, it played through the area 100% fine. Weird.
That being said, the pressing sounds awesome & quiet.
Remember - Always be sure to give each side of a new record a solid cleaning before giving them a spin! I will say, This pressing deff benefited from me doing so :) - There appears to be some serious pressing plant QC issues with this new 2022 pressing. The first copy I received from Secretly was hammered. Pretty terrible scratches, and in a couple spots, straight up gouges. They were cool enough to send me a replacement, but the new copy wasn't much better.
